This place is amazing!
I seriously wanted to buy everything. They have cookies, dried seafood, candies, Ono Giant Shrimp Chips, Japanese rice cracker (arare) and other Japanese goodies.
I got so many different snacks that would be good with beer: prepared scallop, seafood combo, fried squid, fried cuttlefish legs, cornflakes cookies, and anago yuzu. I really LOVE the fried squid. I don’t drink beer, but I want to start drinking because of them: P
You have to go to this place when you visit Hawaii. Don’t worry… they have multiple locations.

Wholesale Unlimited Express is yummylicious!

I went there for something in particular which I found and stacked up on which excites me!
I wanted to try the fried squid one and was torn between the regular or sweet and sour flavor.
I asked the associate which was more popular or which she recommended and she popped the bag open right then and there for us to try! (SWEET!)
I decided to go with the regular and told her I would buy the bag she opened (it was new and we just opened it 30sec before) and she said we could just buy a closed new one and she would use that one as the tester.
It was such a sweet gesture! She was awesome!

Lots of great items and always in stock. The service was great! I got the li hing mui gummy bears and wasabi peas. This is the only place k trust for omiyagi.

My favorite place (Ahua Street) to pick up omiyage for friends & family on the mainland, there are so many good choices. The staff is always friendly & helpful. Also the place to go for those personal cravings!

This place is not the cheapest, not the smallest, but for me on the Island it has one of the best varieties of Crack Seed, Ling Hing ‘Kine, and everything you will need for your Omiyake needs for those elderly adults who seek Crack. I mean Crack seed.

Yup, we spent over a hundred dollars easily over here and added about 12 lbs. to our luggage but I have to say, it’s a nice one stop shop for your relatives.

Love this place — what’s not to like about being in a candy store? It does make me feel like a kid and very id-​like. So much to choose from, Wholesale Unlimited has just about everything you could want.
Really have to hold myself back when I’m at Wholesale. It kind of reminds me of Christmas shopping: you go to shop for others, then find yourself getting one for someone, and two for yourself. At least this keeps them in business :)

Recently, we were looking for a birthday gift for my husband’s 90-​year old aunty. Um, what do you get someone who has lived such a long and fulfilled Life? She certainly doesn’t need material things like clothes, jewelry, household or even gardening items. She gets a lot of family Love from her children and grandchildren and the rest of the relatives. So, we thought of bringing her a gift basket along with a pikake lei.
Our conundrum of what type of gift basket was resolved by the sweet and helpful ladies at Wholesale Unlimited Express. My husband’s aunt’s family is rather large with lots of young grandchildren… we decided to «local out» and get a large assortment of preserved seeds (sweet and savory), candies, cookies, dried seafood and some local jellies for breakfast. The store is well-​organized, clean, and bright. They even have pre-​made gift baskets of different sizes to accommodate serving sizes. But, we chose to customize our basket. We started from one end of the store picking up local candies, mochi, Japanese rice crackers and cookies, dried fruits, house made cookies, locally made jellies and ended up on the other end with dried seafood (seasoned shrimp, dried squid legs, dried abalone slices, etc). The ladies expertly filled a large basket and wrapped it all up. That basket was so laden-​down that it took both of us to carry it out!
When we arrived at the birthday party, the rest of the family oohed and ahhed as we passed through to present it to my husband’s aunt. After we ate dinner and enjoyed the birthday cake, his aunt opened the basket to share with everyone. We knew that his aunt would open the basket to share with the family so we tried to choose «wisely» and everyone appreciated our efforts, too.

Amazing selection and an even better staff. We recently purchased a bulk order to give to clients for Christmas presents. The employees had it ready to go as promised and assisted in loading the boxes into my car. A++

Mostly for Oahuans who can’t get enough crack seed (flavored dried/​preserved fruits) or arare (rice crackers). Pre-​packaged quantities of all kinds of Oahu snacks. Seemed a bit expensive to me. If you are a curious tourist you might have more enjoyment at a Chinatown authentic shop but if you need to just fill your luggage this is as good a stop as any.

Coming to Wholesale is like taking a trip back to my little kid days. Before any family trip, we would make the trek to Wholesale to pick up some local goodies. Puff rice candy, li hing-​covered candies (I used to get rock candy and sour patch kids), and of course li hing mui.

This trip was to pick up a stocking stuffer for my Dad (I was helping Santa out). He likes the sweet white li hing mui from China. It took all my strength and will power not to go over board and buy more goodies for myself (I only got a second bag of li hing mui to open right away). Maybe I’ll have to go back after Christmas.
The location is convenient and parking wasn’t a problem. The cashiers were very friendly and the service was good.
Ok, I think I’ll go eat a li hing mui now.

Some women crave chocolate, I crave seeds. Rock Salt Plum, Lemon Peel, Li Hing Mui and my new favorite, Seedless cream ume. Yes that sounds gross but trust me, you need to try it. It’s so popular, there’s a wait list! So, I guess the secret is already out and it is a favorite of many others too.
But wait! They also have other snacks, dried ika, dried scallops, arare (with or without li hing mui ;)), chips, cookies, candies and more!
Perfect to send away to that friend or family member that moved away or I buy snacks to take with me on trips.

Don’t let the «express» in Wholesale Unlimited Express fool you into thinking this is a small store. It was actually a lot bigger than I expected and I was able to scoop up more than enough goodies to bring back to LA (on a side note, I feel like when I go home, my suitcase is filled with Trader Joe’s goodies and when I go back to LA that space is now filled with goodies from Wholesale Unlimited).
Li Hing Mui and Li-​Hing Mui-​related products are aplenty here, plus the usual Betty’s cookies, and etc. GET THE COOKIES. Sorry, yes, get the cookies. The cornflake cookies are always delicious and last time I bought a bag of the shortbread cookies to eat while I was home (it lasted two days at my Grandma’s house).
They also sell really delicious, albeit a bit expensive, shrimp chips. The legit kind that melts in your mouth. It comes in a variety of different flavors (ranch, furikake, and bbq). I’ve only tried the ranch and it was delicious!
For me, this place is a MUST whenever I’m back in town for cookies, li hing mui stuff, etc. The rest I’ll pick up from Longs ;)

The place for favorite local snacks, mainly imported from China.

The employees here are always friendly and I’m always greeted upon entrance. They also always offer help and also check up on you while you’re shopping. They have a wide variety of snacks and also sell gift baskets.
A lot of people buy snacks in bulk to take or mail to the mainland so they conveniently carry USPS priority mail boxes for customers to pack their goodies in.
Parking here is tight, they only have a few stalls when I go there, there’s always an open parking stall as this location doesn’t get too busy.

Great location if you’re in a rush to get to the airport, but you need to get some local goodies from Hawaii as gifts while on your trip. This location is perfect since it’s near the airport! This location doesn’t hold as much as it’s Waipahu location, but it does hold a lot of goodies. They have different types of dried seafood goodies, seeds, arare, jellies, dressings, cookies, and many more!
There are also pre-​packed goodie baskets that are ready to grab and go!
They sell the BEST local made cookies (next to Cookie Corner of course) called Betty’s Best. There are a variety of flavors from your typical shortbread and chocolate chip to peanut butter brownie crisps.
There is a parking lot located right in front of the store so parking shouldn’t be a problem.

Wholesale Unlimited has THE assortment of goodies for any occasion.
While off at college in the mainland, my family sent me numerous care packages packed with delicious goodies from Wholesale Unlimited. (I love my family.)
My main requests were Betty’s Cornflake Cookies, Betty’s Melting Moments, Li-​Hing Mango, Hot Arare, and assorted sour gummy candy. Over the years, their selection has certainly improved quite extensively. They’ve now got even more Asiany snacks and candies!
Wholesale Unlimited also has ready-​made gift baskets. These are great for gifts and mainland folk. (And college students.) If you’re in need of sending someone a snack set, these are perfect.
I like this location the best because it’s fairly close to the airport. It’s convenient for plane rides and last minute gifts!!!
I can’t get enough of Betty’s Cornflake Cookies!!! Yum.

Located near the airport, Wholesale Unlimited is a wonderful place to buy local goodies. All the li-​hing laced treats, seeds, odd dried seafood, and more snacks that I can even begin to describe. Everything is packaged in different sizes so it packs nicely and looks great when put into a gift bag or basket. Be careful when you walk in there because it’s easy to spend $ 50+ on just a few items. One for a gift, one for you, one for a gift, two for you! You can find cheaper packaged snacks at Longs but I think the quality of the goodies at Wholesale Unlimited is much better.
My favorite items to buy at Wholesale Unlimited are Karen’s cookies. I adore the corn flake cookies and always buy a package to give and a package to eat by myself. So if you’re near Mapunapuna and are looking for an easy omiyage source, look no further!

This store is a fun place to go if you’re looking for a one-​stop snack shop. They carry everything you could possibly want if you’re in search of the typical island snack favorites. There were rows of arare, candy, cookies, dried seafood, nuts, etc. If you’re not careful, you’ll end up walking out of the store with bags of yummy goodies that will take you and an army to consume.
I’ve read some comments on the good prices, but I didnt’t feel like the prices were any better than other stores like Walmart or Don Quijote. I guess it depends on what items you’re purchasing.
One of the best items I purchased from Wholesale Unlimited was the Chocolate Chip Arare Cookies. Apparently, this is a new item and I’m definitely happy they started carrying these. They are so tasty… they’re sweet from the choco chips and a little salty from the arare. The cookies are crispy, crumbly mounds of yummy goodness. You MUST try them!!!
Next time I return to Oahu, I’ll probably return to Wholesale Unlimited when I need to shop for goodies to bring home to friends and family. It’s just too convenient to have all those snacks in one room!
I definitely recommend visiting when you need a convenient place to shop for snacks and don’t feel like taking the time to comp shop at other stores.

I remember the first time I found this place. I mean you go in, there’s all these yummy treats on the wall. You had pen/​paper to mark what you wanted, and best of all… stuff was cheap. You felt like you were getting Wholesale prices. Fast forward 15 – 20 years (I dont really remember how long, at least 15 for sure). You go in, and a ton of things are out of stock. And are out of stock for a VERY LONG time. The prices definitely aren’t wholesale anymore. Certain items i’d say don’t taste the same — possibly different manufacturer? I just stopped by Yesterday, and thought to myself wow… I can get most of this stuff cheaper elsewhere! I still left with about 6 bags. But I remember at the old Mapunapuna location, i’d always leave with 20 – 30 bags each time.

We had an early start to our day, it was noon, and we just doing some shopping at the Aloha Stadium Swap Meet (
). Asked everyone in the van if they wanted to pick up some snacks for the hotel room, and they were game. My mom loves stopping by this place whenever she’s on Oahu. The kids remember their variety of gummy candies and Japanese crackers.
We’ve been here many times, so we didn’t spend much time browsing. We knew what we wanted. Everyone had their own basket, and loaded up some goodies to much on during the week, and stuff to bring back to the Mainland. We picked up some dried li-​hing mangoes, arare crackers, hurricane popcorn, mochi balls, garlic-​onion macadamia nuts, dried honey ginger, lilikoi-​macadamia and guava short bread bars.
All items here are very reasonably priced, and they have locations all over Oahu.

My sis-​in-​law brought the gang here last time we were back home. This place is local kine snack heaven. Mango gummy candy, crack seed, my favorite mochi balls, arare, cuttlefish, hurricane popcorn, you name it they got it. Well maybe. But pretty much anything I can think of and more they had here.
