We came in for just a light dinner as we weren’t really hungry. The food is mediocre at best. The server was indifferent to our presence and had to be asked twice to being me water with no ice and with lemon. She then said«oh I thought you said ice no lemon». The restaurant has gone down hill in the last couple of years. Most of our food was cold.

Posting this on behalf of my father, who does not have a Unilocal account: very disappointed with the lobster roll at the 99 restaurant in Hooksett. Picture on menu showed a roll stuffed with lobster but the role was really stuffed with lettuce. Not worth the price. When I complained to my server I was told that they would pass the message along. Not exactly the type of customer service that I would like to see at a restaurant that I spend $ 16 for a lobster roll at. Buyer beware.

This place definitely lives up to its motto… great food, great drink! Everyone here from the hosts to the chefs to the servers and most especially the bartenders go out of their way to make you feel welcome and leave happy. I love this place and adore all the good folks here that bust their hump to make sure I always have an awesome visit! Thanks 99 Hooksett!

I like this 99… really solid as far as a chain restaurant entry. For a local option, it provides a lot of choice for very reasonable prices, so if you’re looking for a quick dinner, this is a good place to go. Anyone that frequents the Nines must know that you have to try the Gold Fever Wings — a great, unique flavor that sets these apart from your basic chicken tenders from other restaurants. As far as my other favorites, I tend to stick to the Fish n’ Chips or the All Star Steakburger, and they don’t disappoint. Consistency counts, and I think that’s one thing that the 99 does very well. Since this was renovated many years ago, the atmosphere is much improved. The bar area is nice and open, lots of HD TVs, and the service is generally great when you sit there. Recently they’ve been doing some additional things to make it worth going to… they run a trivia night on Thursdays, which if you’re local, is a fun enough thing to do, and they do a nice job with it. Also, I notice that they’ve been experimenting a little more with keeping a local brew on tap. Last fall they were running with the Woodstock Inn’s Autumn Ale… that was a great surprise. I’m not sure how popular that was with everyone except me… but I hope they continue to cycle that through… really hard to find that one on tap. Lately it’s been the Long Trail IPA from Vermont. Great idea keeping it local… please continue to do this!

I took my daughter to 99 on July 12th as a belated 10th birthday outing. She ordered sirloin from the kids menu and I ordered honey barbecue ribs, and we shared them. The food was great(«painfully delicious» is how my daughter put it). The staff was friendly and pleasant. The prices seemed reasonable. The downside: it took an hour and a half for the food to arrive.
