We move furniture and work with each client to keep them in their home during the project. We have been servicing New Hampshire clients for over 33 years.

History

Established in 1982.

Olde Tyme Craftsmen started out as a sole proprietor painting contracting business and operated as such for eight years. In 1990, wood flooring was added and both services were offered for about five years. In the mid-1990s, due to high demand and serious investment made in equipment and training, custom wood flooring became the sole focus of the business. In 2009, the invitation to become a Bona Certified Craftsman was accepted and full training was underway. Today, all senior Flooring Technicians have been to the Bona school and oversee both in-house and on-site training of new technicians. Education and training is ongoing, and new technicians attend the Bona school after three years of experience. It’s no longer a one man show!

Meet the Business Owner

Ron C.

Business Owner

Ron is a native of Nashua, NH whose stepfather, Harold Welch, was a long-time home builder in the Nashua/Amherst area. He attended both the NH Voc-Tech College in Nashua and Columbia College in Missouri, where he was graduated with his Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration. There he met his wife, Monica, who was also a NH native and a student at CC. After their marriage in 1981, he tried to climb the corporate ladder but found that he was more suited to being self employed and started the painting business. The rest is history.
