This is a GOOD Walmart. It is more like 2.5 stars It is better then other Walmarts but it is Walmart and that just isn’t good. I have never witnessed a person that truly belonged on the People of Walmart website. But I hate shopping here. I know if I go I will find what I need at a decent price but it is just a depressing place. The staff is a mix of people who seem happy and want you to be happy and people that hate there life and might just blame you for it. On the other hand if you have free time to kill go sit on the bench by customer service and just sit there and people watch. You will laugh and cry. So funny and depressing at the same time.

I usually don’t do reviews for grocery/​home good stores but I thought… seeing how good Walmarts are hard to come by… this may help someone. This is probably one of the best Walmarts in birmingham. The one on hwy 280 would be the cream of the crop but this is a close runner up.
This location is clean, organized, & fully staffed. Emphasis on clean. Especially the produce department (which is rare) I saw employees on almost every aisle, so if I needed any assistance they were readily available.
The downside as to most Walmarts… they didn’t have enough lanes open. That was the only bummer. Everything else was pretty perfect. Kudos to this location!

This is one of the best Wal Mart Supercenters in the Bham metro area. Never had a problem here, relatively quick lines, and helpful employees. What can’t you get here? Groceries, sporting equipment, holliday stuff, new tires and oil changes, lawn and gardening, and electronics! Don’t forget that they price match competitors too. Download their app to check their prices against others. I was surprised to see how much higher some grocery stores are on everyday stuff I get.

This Walmart’s Photo Center is the worst ever. The photo center has 3⁄6 stations open for customer use, and the person who works at the photo center is extremely rude and lazy. We went to the photo center twice, the visits months apart. The first time we went, we wanted a photo to be expanded and put into a photo frame. The person said that his printer was not working, and we believed him. The second time we went, the same employee said the same thing. The Walmart overall is like every other Walmart, terrible but cheap. Do not visit this photo center, and the Walmart in Pelham is much better and less crowded.

People love to hate on Wal-​Mart, but I’m a fan. I don’t go to this one much (hit up the Neighborhood Market on 31 in Vestavia when all I need is groceries), but I usually find everything the grocery-​only market lacks when I do.

Went to wal mart again today I seem to be there daily love the prices and how it is set up and most of the time the floor is well maintaned. I have a few Items and they had a VERY large line at every register that was open a manager came and told some customers to go to this speciality counter and she would ring us, It was wonderful the girl there was kids sweet and had a big smille even though I didn’t have anything from her are to purchase. Thank you walmart for hiring caring people. However if anyone reads this site I would love to know a good customer service number to call to get them some reconition for going above and beyond typical.
