Even granting that Hopatcong is not the epicenter of great Chinese Take Out, I was still surprised at how bad it was. I ordered Shredded Pork in Garlic Sauce, with an Egg Roll. When I got home the bag was drenched in brown sauce. Inside was Soy Sauce Soup. Definitely not anything remotely resembling Shredded Pork. I couldn’t get past all the Green Pepper to find my food, so I decided to take them all out. Literally the only thing in the dish was at least one sliced green pepper, a few water chestnuts, 2 wilted pieces of broccoli, a bit of pork and the rest was filled with«soup». The Egg Roll squirted oil out when I bit into it and ruined my shirt. I ended up spilling the sauce all over the floor when I went to throw it out. I’ve never thrown out a Chinese meal before… I’ve been eating Chinese food for 54 years!!! This is without question the worst dish I have ever been served. On the bright side, the girl at the front was very friendly.

Love this place! Only downside is that they don’t deliver. The place has the best lo mien I have ever eaten. I do miss this place and when I am in town I try to stop by to pick something up. People who work there are also very nice.

The best chicken and broccoli in town. as well as the steamed dumplings, cantonese shrimp, and everything else on their menu. Fresh ingredients, friendly service, and always willing to accommodate.

Good fresh, chinese food, nice people run the place. They’ll make it your way — black bean sauce rather than brown sauce, very little oil, etc. The hot and sour soup is only available in a large size, but it is really awesome. The cold sesame noodles are the best I’ve had. I love the chow fun(broad rice noodles). The Moo Goo Gai Pan

Been in Hopatcong a little over a year. We don’t do Chinese food too often. I’ve gotten Chinese from King Wah a few times, they’re not bad, but I tried Lucky House and they are much better!!! I think Lucky House will be our go to Chinese joint.

Another place that I was introduced to when I moved to Hopatcong. The food here is some of the best Chinese food in town. I routinely have the shredded pork with Garlic sauce, which is excellent. The restaurant is family run, and the family atmosphere really shines through. The people who run the restaurant are very friendly and remember you. Excellent.
