Fireside Bar and Grill

I hope they aren’t mad that I’m getting their secret out :). This was a fun place we hit up while we were at the Fireside Lake Resort. Dominated by locals but welcoming of visitors, we fit right in, getting chatted up by lots of friendly folks. they have a limited tap selection but had a decent range of bottled/​canned beers, everything from PBR to New Glarus! I won’t reveal the prices but let’s just say you can get a deep cheap drunk goin’ on here. I do wish that the big TV wasn’t blocked by the pool table, but when a round of shots came around everytime the home team scored I forgot about it.
The menu is typical pub grub — I had the burger which was solid and the parmesan fries were great. The servers made you feel right at home — and the fireplace on a cold January Saturday night rocked.
There is a small outdoor patio to use in the summer, and steps down to the lake out back.
