This store was a hot mess. Things were everywhere, no organization. Not to mention it’s hot and humid and musty because the doors were open. The selection was not huge at all. And the checkout woman from the register didn’t even give me my bag before she started ringing up the next person in line. Disaster. I was trying to find another location but ended up here. Horrible. I couldn’t wait to leave. Never going to this location again.

I love this store! I think it’s one of the best 99 cent/dollar stores in Houston. Why, you ask? First of all, it’s enormous. They actually have a large selection of a wide variety of things. They actually have produce in the back, which usually needs to be used that day or relatively quickly, and frozen food, which you never really see at discount stores. They have lots of canned and dry food, normal household items, kitchen necessities, toys, clothes, party supplies, and so much more. They actually have gardening supplies and potting soil, so I’ll come out of my way to this store to save some money. The parking lot is always a mess, but the inside of the store seems to usually be clean and organized, and I’ve never had an unpleasant encounter with any of the staff! Overall, one of my favorite discount stores to shop at on this side of town!

Whenever I am in the area, I would swing by this location to see what they have to offer. Luckily speaking, 99% of the time I got what I wanted! I saved 50% on my grocery bill by shopping here. Comparing to other 99 cents out there, 99 Cents Only is always my top favorite 99 cent place to visit! Nothing can really beat their price(most of the 99 cent items).
