History

Established in 2002.

What was initially the last of three companies, founded by Claudia De Velasco and her sister/​business partner, Veronica De Velasco, is now the remaining company after a successful merger. A Day To Remember was established in the fall of 2002. At the time, it served as a sister company to Flowers To Remember and Cakes To Remember. Being heavily involved in the special events and bridal industry, it only made sense to supplement and satisfy the needs of our clients; hence, A Day To Remember was born.

In January of 2005, Cakes To Remember and Flowers To Remember merged with A Day To Remember, becoming one sole company. In addition, A Day To Remember has expanded its services, not just from offering baked goods, floral services and event planning; but offering full-​service catering, candy stations and chocolate fountains, for corporate and social events.

With over 10 years of experience in the wedding industry, Claudia has become one of the most sought after wedding planners in the city. A graduate from the University of Houston, Claudia never imagined a career in wedding planning, or being involved in the wedding industry for that matter. Taking some simple cake decorating classes evolved into starting up a wedding cake business with quickly evolved to offering wedding flowers and becoming a one stop venue, offering an array of services, including wedding and event planning.
