Specialties

Health Food Store and Café catering to both herbivores and carnivores with delicious scratch made dishes! Extensive menu featuring wheat free and vegetarian dishes, seafood, grass-fed beef & bison burgers, salads, south of the border specialities, sandwiches, soups, smoothies, fresh juices, and much more. Gluten free/sugar free bakery items. One of the few places left to get your organic wheat grass shot!

We are proud to offer 100% local, pastured meat from A BETTER WAY located near Brenham, TX in our freezer cases in the store. Beef, chicken, lamb, pork, and bison are now available.

All cooking/drinking water is ultra-purified. We do not own a fryer and all menu items made fresh daily. Unprocessed sea salt is used in the café.

Our store is the one stop shop for vitamins, the latest in food supplements, grocery items, «Grab & Go» entreés, bulk herbs and botanicals, personal care items, and healthy snacks.

A Moveable Feast is proud to serve the health and wellness needs of the Houston area.

History

Established in 1971.

A Moveable Feast was well ahead of the curve, being the first juice bar in Houston. It has grown considerably over the last 43 years, always bringing in fresh ideas and trends. Original owners, John & Suzanne Fain, have passed the reins to Michael & Lisa Eck, as the new stewards of AMF since August, 2013.

Meet the Business Owner

Lisa and Michael E.

Business Owner

Always being avid supporters of health and wellness, A Moveable Feast is the perfect endeavor for husband, Michael, and Lisa. Lisa is a regular volunteer at Blackwood Bounty CSA (community supported agriculture), and she has been bringing in «beyond organic» produce into the restaurant. The farming techniques used by our farmer, Hans, produce higher nutritional levels than other organic produce. A Moveable Feast is proud to be partnering with Blackwood!
