My sister has thick eyebrows, she wanted them to be a little bit thin and even provided an example of what she wanted. As soon as she was done threading my sister looked in the mirror and started CRYING because she literally left her without any eyebrows. You should have seen how devastated she was. She did my eyebrows before she did my sisters and cut a piece of my arch off but it wasn’t too bad. All the lady said to my sister was «you wanted them thin» and proceeded to charge us $ 16 even though we were both so dissatisfied. To make things worse she knew our prom was in 3 days, I mentioned it to her before she started threading my brows to emphasize how important it was for my eyebrows to turn out well. I wouldn’t recommend this place to anyone. She was so rude and seemed as if the fact that she was crying was funny to her. If you wanna cry after you see how your brows turned out (if you even have any left) then you should think about coming here.

I’ve been coming here for over a year now. I’m satisfied every time I leave this place. It doesn’t matter who does my brows at this place. I am always pleased with their work. There is a wait most of the time but not usually longer than 20 mins and worth it to me. Just tell them how you want your eyebrows to look and they will help you achieve that look you want. Would definitely recommend.

Docked a star bc the chick there was rude and couldn’t give me an estimate as to how long I would have to wait and it appeared as though she was the only person there. I went to Salon Gallery down the street on highway 6 and was taken care of.

I’ve only been to this place twice, but both times I’ve had the same woman do my eyebrows and I love the way she does them. I have light brown/​blonde eyebrows and it’s very easy for them to look thin. She took the time and asked me what I wanted and asked if I liked them thin. I said no, and that I pretty much just needed them cleaned up. She did them perfectly and they looked like sisters (not twins!). The only reason I’m giving 4 stars is because after both times, my brows look perfect in the salon but I see a few strays when I get home that I have to deal with.

I got my eyebrows done for the first time here & it was a great job! Ask for Raj she did my eyebrows perfect she didn’t do them too thin & the price is great only $ 8 I highly recommend this place

So… I usually have my «lower region maintenance» done at a popular chain hair removal spot in Houston, but I was in a bit of a rush to prep for a pending vacation and decided to look to Unilocal for a place closer to home. That search brought up Aaina. My aesthetician, Maha, was great. Very patient, thorough and kind… which are all necessary when you’re in a new place, putting a VERY sensitive area in a compromising position and new hands! Though her technique was a bit different than I’m used to, it was effective. I even had her to address my upper lip and chin. Though it’s clear that they specialize in threading (a technique I DON’T LIKE). I agreed to allow her to do some «cleaning» with thread and she was so gentle that I agreed to come back at a later date to allow her to address my brows (which I’d just had done and am VERY picky about).
While the interior is not as posh, glam and «spa-​like» as I’m accustomed to with my regular place, my experience overall was great! And the price was awesome. I’ll be going back.

First time here. I went off on the businesses hours on Unilocal and it wasn’t correct (opening at 10 am). Luckily for me I got there at 10:50 am and they open at 11 am so the wait wasn’t bad. Raj was my brow stylist on today’s visit. She arrived at the salon about 5 minutes after I got there. Raj was polite and friendly. My brows where nicely shaped but I actually had to clean them up when I got home with tweezers since she missed a few hairs on my right brow near the arch. I would have given a 4th star but I had a few tiny cuts on my both of my eyelids and it stung a little when I was cleaning them. The price was $ 8 for my eyebrows which isn’t bad. I am not a very hairy person so it’s not much work. They do have a customer rewards card I believe it’s get 10 and the 11th threading is free. I will be back to try other stylist out in the future.

Our little Katy/​west Houston secret is out. People are coming from that Jones Rd location to this one now. The last few times I’ve come… there has been a wait. So now I only go when I’m not in a rush, but I miss being done in 10 mins.

I have been getting my eyebrows done at Aaina’s brow bar for a year now, I 100% recommend this place. Navina does an amazing job! She threads my eyebrows and my face and I’ve never had a problem at all. I even sent my husband there and his eyebrows look great too. Also had my eyebrows tinted there they always look great when I leave. Navina is very sweet.

I get out of work by 12:30 so on my way home I stop by to get my eye brows threaded. The price is 8.00 by I use card so 2 bucks more which I don’t mind because I’m not that cheap, I get a great frendly an fast service that’s not in the middle of a mall where every one just watch. It’s nice and always clean. i was off today so I decided to get them done today and it’s 3:50 on a Friday, I just walked in told my them I needed my eyebrows done sat down got them done. i paid and was one my way. You have to try it at least once if your in the area. Thumbs up!

This was my first time at Aaina. The salon is clean and neat. The staff is sweet and professional. Once I was seated, she zipped through my threading like a pro, yet was so gentle. I usually cry and turn bright red (sensitive skin), but my reaction wasn’t nearly as bad as it has been at other places. Their prices are a little more than brow salons on Harwin– $ 8 for brows and $ 5 for upper lip.

Tonight was my first time here and the lady was so sweet and nice. She noticed the condition my eyebrows were and asked what happened and I told her about the last lady at the last place butchered them and made them pencil thin! She put a tinted cream on my eyebrows so they would look fuller in the places that were too thin and cleaned the new growth and shaped them the best she could with the little hair there was. She then sold me on an oil that would help my eyebrows grow thicker quicker and said she wanted to see me back in 2 – 3 weeks. She was so sweet and really kind for staying a little past closing for me! Def my new eyebrow spot!!!

I frequented the Jones location because its close to work. I was thrilled to see them open a location so near my house!
I went there on a Friday evening and was helped by an older lady. Seems like she was new at threading; I felt every hair pulled out.. Ever so slowly. All in all the shape was good (or so i thought). Gave her the benefit of the doubt, tipped well and went on my way. When I got home, I realized there were a ton of sparse hairs. I had to touch them up myself. Then today, I noticed my eyeshadow wasn’t going on right. only to find out my entire lid is cut. No wonder I felt everything. Too bad. Their Jones location is better. But go to Shapes in Willowbrook if you don’t mind the drive. I enjoyed aaina’s, but won’t be coming back to this location.
