Great clean place! Menu is simple but good. For breakfast you can choose for example, eggs, bacon and potato in either a bagel, wrap or croissant; veggies can be added as well. Their bagels and baked goods are made fresh daily. I love that the bagels are not too doughy. Also, their restroom is always clean which I think is a good indication of restaurant cleanliness in general. Customer service is very good! All three ladies are very nice and willing to answer questions and help you make a decision. Glad I found a bagel place close to home since I do love me some fresh bagels.

really great food for being just a small little place in a shopping center. the food is fresh and really flavorful. all the baked goods are made fresh every morning. i ordered 2 sausage, egg, and cheese croissant sandwiches along with 2 muffins and it came out to $ 13. worth every penny and would recommend to anyone who wants a breakfast or snack that is quick and fresh. will definitely be coming back!

This place has been just around the corner for a long time, but I only finally stopped in. It’s simple, but good food. I had the bacon, egg cheese croissant and my husband had potato and egg taquito wrap on the spinach tortilla. What’s really nice is they have a good selection of different breads and cheeses, so you can mix and match to your taste. They also have quite a selection of bagels, as well as muffins, turnovers, Kolaches and other pastries. I did try the cherry turnover, it’s nice and flaky, but could use more filling, in my opinion. They also have a number of sandwiches if you’re more in a lunch mood. I definitely will be back to pick up some bagels and perhaps try the Rowdy’s Roast Beef sandwich.

I must say I enjoy my job because it takes me to areas where I can sit inside a café or restaurant that isn’t anywhere near my area. I stopped by this small café while on the job and first off the people who work there are very sweet and kind. I ordered a big dog(Eggs, and 2 meats which I chose bacon and sausage) on a garlic bagel. Delicious! I also had a cup of coffee, ya know cause I was in a café! My better half was with me and ordered the chicken salad sandwich which she said was really good. I would come back if in the area.

Closest thing to a N.Y./ N.J. Bagel I can find in Houston suburbs.(The original owner was from NY) Only problem I had, with the new owners, was at 9am they were out of everything bagels. Rather than make more of them, they just gave you the«sorry we are out». Lost my business that morning to Panera Bread, who also sells a decent bagel. A good bagel Shop never runs out and chooses to stop making more bagels that early in the morning. Just saying…

LOCALSSHOULDCOMEHEREMOREOFTEN! Very peaceful place to start off the day! I love that they open early. Their selection is so amazing that I really thought they order their stuff, but no it is baked FRESHDAILY! Fountain drinks and coffee had free refills. Food — we had #1 Big Dog and #21 Ham Panini. Delicious, but portion was just average. Price — For this quality other restaurants would be too overpriced! But overall it’s just average here. Service — great and quick! Very nice and attentive. Ambience — homey and quirky. A little old style, but it’s nice. Great plus for being clean.

I ate here once because i was close by, my friend was a cross the street washing her car. The place was empty, but the service was good. I ordered a tuna sandwich, chips and drink and it was good… i guess I’ll be back.

It was a little disappointing that they won’t deliver if you only order for one person. Especially since it wasn’t specified on their website. I was in the hospital and wanted to order breakfast but was told by the lady that answered the phone the couldn’t deliver just one meal. I was shocked.

Great for breakfast. Being from NJ I was super excited to see Taylor ham on their menu. The ladies that work there are super nice. The only reason I didn’t give 5 starts was because I like my breakfast sandwiches with a little more meat on them.

I was in town and read the high ratings on Unilocal. It sounded great and I drove 11 miles to eat there. Wow! What s huge disappointment. It’s a sad little strip mall sandwich shop. Ugly inside and not welcoming at all. There was no one there eating and menu was so dull. Not worth a visit at all. Maybe it has local friends but it’s not for tourists.

Wow! Got the Alfs grilled chicken chips and a drink for $ 8.50. Everything baked daily and prepared fresh. I would have liked slightly larger portion, but honestly did not need it.

I’ve been buying 3 – 4 dozen assorted bagels every other week for years fom Abby’s. They are alway fresh and made the proper way with water boiling, some of the big bagel chains don’t do that. Everyone at the office wants to know where I get them. Since most are from Katy they’re a bit disappointed that it’s so far from them.

Fresh, delicious and the bagels are just as good as Einsteins. Good service, fair pricing They even made sure we got a lower price for our meal as we picked an item and asked for it without egg, which was actually a lower priced item. Ie they care about their customers.

Our food was fresh, prepared with great care & the ladies were friendly. The chicken salad had a great flavor. The place was very clean and well maintained. Even the area behind the register was very clean. I had no idea this place was here & have driven by numerous times. Inexpensive prices.

Came here for lunch and it was pretty delicious. Everything was fresh and made to order. I had the chicken sandwich and it satisfied my hunger tooth. It is in the same shopping center as Petco, Jimmy Johns, and GMC. I would love to try out their breakfast too one day!

Dear Abby, I would like to break up with my regular diet, but my taste buds are advising me against it. My arteries are telling me I should eat more healthy things, but stomach says I can get that at Kroger for cheaper, and I should enjoy my food if I am to spend $ 7 for lunch. I don’t know what to order. What do you recommend? Signed, A naan Dear Anon, This café/deli has standard menu selections, about 20, some hot and some cold … probably like your dates(the food kind, I mean). They even serve breakfast all day(the usual things, as you might surmise). Be realistic in your expectations. This is a deli and not a health food store, but it is less fattening than most other food choices at restaurants. I sense from your letter that you want quality taste, and that can be found here. For example, the meat is Boar’s Head brand. Panini is tempting, but I recommend the chicken salad. And, of course, there are some bakery items to tempt you. The selection is small(muffins, scones, turnovers), but the quality is higher. Signed, Abigail Van Be Your In —- result —- — Chicken Salad Sandwich: Excellent and plentiful. Good value. — Cherry Turnover(warmed): Excellent taste, but a thin filling of cherries. At least it doesn’t ooze goo when you bite into it. It is large. Ratio of cherries to pastry part is weak. I would rather have a smaller, but more filled, turnover. — Less-bad drink(V8 Splash) is available besides the usual. Also known for a variety of fresh bagels(listed on website). Great lunch! Thank you Abby!
