Alpha Appliances Repair

By far and away the worst repair outfit in business today. Overpriced and incompetent. Their «serviceman» — and I use that term very loosely because he showed up with his family in the car — I doubt seriously if he is a real repairman — arrived to fix the door on our Electrolux dishwasher. The spring on the right side had come loose and the door would not operate normally. After scratching the cabinet around the dishwasher opening (I reminded him time and again to be careful about the cabinet) and coming close to crimping the water line, he said it was fixed but the fix only lasted a couple of hours. When I called to have him back out to fix it again, I was given a bunch of BS from the lady that answered the phone. She told me that he would be out the next morning (Saturday) between 8:00 and 11:00 AM. At about 10:55 he called and said «the office said you wanted to talk to me»…I said, no, I want you to come and fix my dishwasher because you did not fix it yesterday. He said «you saw what I did and if that did not fix it what do you think we should do?» I told him that HE was the repairman and he should fix the damn door like he was supposed to… I could go on forever but it doesn’t matter. The people are garbage and should be run out of business. What a complete joke Alpha Appliance Repair is. I would give the half a star if it was available.

Their technician was incompetent in the repair he performed (ice maker failed within minutes after the technician left). They charged too much (almost $ 300 for a 20 minute service call — just labor, no parts). They do not return phone calls. I will never do business again with this company. I consider them to be disreputable, if not dishonest.

The Customer Service is terrible. I would never use them again. They do not honor their coupons, they do not have parts readily available, a 15 minute repair took two days to complete. In addition, they called me to say I had paid them with a bad check and threatened me with legal action, etc. Come to find out, their incompetent office staff applied my check to another customer’s invoice. They did not even have the decency to call me and apologize and say they were wrong. I had to find out for my self by checking my bank account to see if the check cleared, and it did. When I called them to follow up they said, «yes, we made a mistake, our office staff misapplied your check.» So, I asked, «Why didn’t someone call me to let me know the office made an error?» «Why didn’t someone call and apologize?» The lame answer was, «we were going to», and that the person who made the error was going to call me and make me aware of the error and apologize. Of course that never happened.
DO NOT USE THIS UNPROFESSIONAL, DISCOURTEOUS, AND UNORGANIZED ORGANIZATION! YOU’VE BEEN WARNED!!!

Absolutely the worst customer service I have ever experienced. The repair on the original call out was not repaired properly. The problem continued after they left. I called the office the next day (832−892−6012) and the man said to call the repair man directly and gave me his cell number. I called and called and he never answered or returned my messages. I called the office again and he said he would have someone call me back. It did not happen. I had to call again. Finally they called to schedule between 8 and 10 AM this morning. I called the repairman at ten, as usual no answer, and then I called the office. The guy that answered the phone said «oh yeah, they were called into a meeting by the CEO this morning» so all the work for today is being delayed. I suggested it would have been a good idea to call customers and let them know that the repairman would not be making their appointments and he had no response. I asked to speak with the CEO and he said «the CEO does not want to talk with you-​that is why he has me». The company work was not properly performed, they do not return calls, they do not appear when schedule, and for the life of me I can’t imagine why anyone would do business with this company.
