I really liked this place, I was just here about 2weeks ago!!! We went on Saturday and it was pretty awesome, it was a Latin night! I’m Latina so this music was great, they were playing Nicky Jam, JBalvin, some bachata pretty cool music! It’s dressy casual but u can go really dressy if I want to. Drinks are fair, bartenders are cool too. No need for Valet($ 20) just park around the corner of the building! Anyway pretty cool spot!

This place is cool on Fridays because I love Caribbean and African music. It is pretty tight in this club(space wise) and most of the time people are just standing with a drink in their hand watching one another. I go to dance, so thats kind of disappointing. The décor is nice inside, and looks a bit upscale. I think thats what makes ppl so uptight. The music is on point most Fridays when I go, but its hit or miss because they use different dj’s. I’d say check it out.

Great latin music… the bathroom has clear doors and you can see the shadows of the person sitting down, wiping yourself… I definitely did not like that.

I found this place to be pretty chic if you go on the right night the atmosphere can be grown and sexy, drinks were good, the music was great. Nice little spot to venture out to.

I remember when Belvedere opened probably 9 years or so ago. It was a beautiful chic place and no one hardly knew about it so it took a while to catch on. There used to be no one there half the time on weekends. Then all of a sudden maybe a year or so after they opened, it became a very lively place that became extremely busy! Now that Dh Muoneke aka Dumbhot, has taken over promotions for them for over the last 5 years, this place is insane! Friday nights are urban type nights I believe it’s African flare and Sunday nights are more like old school music and r&b. Thursday’s and Saturdays are salsa nights. A lot of diversity on both those nights. You should reserve a section because the lines are extremely long and sometimes you won’t get in, especially on their Friday’s. Which every Friday is International Affairs Fridays. So there’s people from all over the world in there. Europeans, Africans, Indians, everyone. Definitely dress to impress and spend lots of money, otherwise you’ll feel out of place! Lol. I’m just saying, cause there’s lots of high rollers who drive 100,000 dollar cars there. If you like crowds, this is your spot!

My girlfriend and I walked in at 1:30, we were promptly told there was a 40 dollar cover. Flabbergasted, I said, «$ 40 for 30 minutes?!?» And the girl, begrudgingly, said ok, fine, $ 20 and frustratingly waved us on. Place was packed, which is cool, except we were the absolute only white people. Call me racist, that’s fine, but i didn’t want my girlfriend being«rubbed up on.» If you’re hood, cmon. But this isn’t the type of establishment I expected from S Post Oak 1 mile from my 650 dollar hotel room. Disappointed. Wasted 20 dollars for 7 seconds and zero drinks.

Wow!!! What can I say? Great looking lounge/club. Tons of drop-dead gorgeous looking women. I just didn’t realize that there were so many beautiful women working in the mining industry as «gold diggers».

Thursday nights are pure Latin, with House music on the patio. One of my favorite local DJs, Little Martin spins the Latin night, and he’s really good. Popular Latin music always makes the crowd dance. Gets pretty packed later on in the night, but if you arrive early enough, you may get a table/booth without bottle service. Really long bar inside, and bar outside as well. Dress to impress, and enjoy! I don’t know the vibe the other nights, so this review is strictly Thursday.

This spot has endured through the years. That’s saying a lot since most club patrons are either fickle or outgrow venues over time. So a spot is hot for a minute and then out of style the next. Since the Belvedere caters ALL Houstonians you have to pick your nights carefully so you won’t feel or of place while listening to music you hate. Also you may have to pay for bottle service if you want guaranteed seating. That being said it’s a nice upscale club.

Went on Saturday. .easy parking no need for valet, no cover charges, no bouncer attitude, the place is nice, very casual but you can dress to impress if you want, saw some guys with there blazers(I was expecting more due to been high end club) The crowd is older between 25 and 50+. Saturday is not latin night but it seem like it was mostly salsa and bachata music. $ 6.50 per beer. It is great place to bring a date due to not been crowded. If you are good looking guy you may be asked to dance, I saw 2 good looking guys been aproched by women and for us ugly/average looking guys you will have to try a little harder and depending on your game may talk to a girl. Some Saturdays there is good ratio of women some is just dudes.

First time visiting the Belvedere last night and was hoping to get my salsa fix! Arrived around 11 as I read some Unilocal reviews stating it’s a late start for Salsa/Latin Music. This place is located in a strip mall setting, so there is plenty of free parking available. We walked in, no cover, no line. First thing I noticed was a very long bar across the wall on the left, and on the right was bottle service VIP areas. Ordered two cocktails and they were at $ 8.5 each, and they were strong :-0! The place was urban upscale design, many people congregating by the bar, dancing and drinking to Latin Regatone Beats. 2 Salsa songs &2 bachata songs were played while we were there then the rest was regatone. I wanted to find the dance floor, so we walked to the end where the DJ was & to my disappointment, the only dance area was about 10 square feet. Micro small and it leads to the restroom area. So there is traffic in & out. So we got 1 bachata dance in while other people bumped into us left & right. Boooo! So overall, it’s an ok lounge/club establishment that plays Latin beats on Thursday indoors & Outdoor patio a Saxophone player playing jazzy tunes. Drinks are reasonable, good service, hip place. However, for Salseras & Salseros this is not a place to get your salsa fix :(Been in Houston 7 months & still have not found a good salsa place :(let me know if you know of one!

I came here for a friend’s birthday party. As far as logistics, it’s kind of hard to find. But, it’s across from Café Express in the Uptown Park Complex facing I-610. The front entrance is nice with elaborate neon pink colors. The inside is more impressive, with nice couches for lounging. Towards the back area is a decent sized party room covered in white, and complete with a plasma screen TV and more comfy white couches. Music from the 80s/90s were playing all night. It was very nostalgic. Think Brandy, Usher, TLC, and many others. Even techno/trance music was playing as well. I would recommend this place if you need to host a party or just want to have a girls night out.

Cute little place. Came here for a networking event. Nice lounge feel big couches nice patio area. No real dance floor you dance in the aisle way??? Odd it should be a jazz club like a really cool chill lounge place. I had a great time and but what’s up with TVINTHETOILET area yeah I’m over that. It’s a public bathroom not trying to get comfortable.

I have been here several times on Saturdays and I must say I have had a pleasant experience every time. There’s plenty of free parking and valet is readily available. The line moves quick and I never see the door guy hassle anyone. That’s probably why they always get a good turnout. The ambient is nice and it’s a very upscale and classy place. I love the fact that the crowd is very diverse and everyone is always friendly. Drinks are $ 10 dollars which are maybe only a few dollars more expensive than other places but you get your money’s worth. They are not the watered down versions you get at other bars or clubs. The music is always good inside or on the patio since they have 2 DJs. They mix it up and play good variety although they play a little more Latin music which works for me. This is definitely a great place to come with friends and party all night!

Surprisingly, there are very few places in Houston that I can truly say I enjoy going there to dance. Either the DJ’s music is predictable, they screw up on mixes that often cut off the last verses of songs(which are often the best verses!), or they don’t know their audience at all. This spot had TWO great DJ’s, inside and outside, and both had great selections. I found myself seeking to be near the doors, so I could get on either floor when I heard something I liked. The bartenders were great too. To be honest, the inside bartenders were nicer.(Understandable, huh?) The drinks weren’t bad. Also, outside they always have someone providing food for a cost. For those who want to dance, drink, chit-chat, and go somewhere to eat, this is an all-in-one solution. I came here on a Sunday, a couple of times. There was a $ 20 door fee to get in. I have only been here after 10pm, so I am not sure if there is a waived door fee prior. Check them out if you want good drinks, nice bartenders, a pleasing crowd, and even FOOD!

Cool place. Has a $ 5 dollar cover and drinks are about $ 10 bucks a piece, plus, they chare an extra tax. That was weird. The club was full of Latinos but it had a handful of other races there, too. The music was mostly Latino, but it was cool. I like their outdoor patio, but there was standing water in several parts of the ground, so it was a little gross. Out back they also sell fajitas. That’s a very smart option, since we all know food tastes better after you’ve had a few drinks.

In theory, Belvedere is the kind of nightlife spot where anything is possible. But on the surface it’s like the many clubs people have seen before in any major metropolis with the usual cast of characters — cover charges, bottle service, a little pretension and a mixed bag which includes the crowd and the service. The beautiful space has shades of Miami all over it. Neon lit rooms with an ambiance that screams South Florida. If they were open prior to 4pm, I think Belvedere could make for a halfway decent restaurant solely on décor alone. The happy hours are none too impressive, especially for pricey drinks for Houston standards. Music wise, they’ve got a mix of international music with guest DJs and a good emphasis on dance and hip hop. Folks looking to club it up have found the right place. For some of their themed nights, the Latin ones might just be the most fun. Hopefully aside from tearing it up on the dance floor, try not to mind the random groups of dudes who threw down $$$ for bottle service and are looking to holler at your crew(assuming you’re around the right crowd). My biggest beef(like any of these places) is the staff. From the snooty bouncers to the YMMV bartenders, I’m not terribly impressed with a venue that should be all about quality service.
