I requested a moving quote from a online service which has folks constantly calling me (although I requested emails only) and this company keeps calling an calling and hanging up… when I researched the number there are numerous complaints online in regards to their shady business practices, and several complaints of them calling and hanging up repeatedly… omg! So i’m not surprised to find them on here with crap ratings.

Really very disappointed in Best. They will say anything to get your business. We were told that our furniture would be kept in climate controlled storage — melted candles tell a different story though.
The crew that came to load the truck was conscientious enough. We were told that they would disassemble our furniture and then reassemble in the new house. The unload team had no idea how to reassemble any of our stuff! As a result we ended up with things broken, not reassembled correctly, and no apologies. To this day we are still finding things that were not put back together correctly and, worse yet, with hardware missing! Sat down at the patio table outside today only to find it was propped on one leg — but the hardware never installed! We are fortunate nobody was hurt!
We thought we would save money with this company. Sadly it went thousands over budget with mediocre service and significant damage to our belongings. Would not use this company again nor would I recommend it to you.

BE AWARE!!! Do not use their services no matter what!!!
First of all I wanted to book a moving with them, until I saw all the horrible reviews. I canceled my order few minutes after!!! then, they called me with a different representative and identified themselves as a different company! They even sent me a price quote with the name of the other company, because they knew they had bad reviews. THIS IS ILLEGAL!
The phone call that I received was from Courtney. Very polite person that gave me the impression of a good and professional business. Wow I was wrong.
The price that was decided was 1600 $, they charged almost 300 $ more than what was initially agreed on, because I wanted it urgent for Saturday, which was same day. They also guaranteed 7 days, as you can see from my pictures that I uploaded, they wrote «7 day maximum».
after the packing was made, which was completely unproffesional (they didn’t even have the right tools for unpacking the bed, so we had to go especially to buy the tools in the middle of packing), everything went wrong! First of all, they raised the price in. 1000 $ more! Saying I said I have large boxes but u had 2 XL! Seriously?!
I held my breath because they had my things and I needed them by Friday, as I mentioned to them, because I was flying on Saturday. Not only that the shipment arrived only on Wednesday (!!!), BUT– my furnitures were ruined! (See pics)
The most important thing that happened and that is why I will fight them until I win, I will do a dispute and report their scam to the BBB, is the fact THEY STOLE SOME OF MY THINGS!!! I feel violated.
Yea, you understood correct. They basically OPENED boxes that were sealed, and took things out!!! I was missing so many things, along a beautiful mirrored silver table which I cannot get anymore, a bar stool, pillows, blankets, and so much more.
They don’t answer their phones or return my calls. This is the worst SCAM I have ever dealt with in my life.
PLEASE!!! Do yourself a favor and do not get involved with these guys…

I would recommend best moving. I used them for my move from spring Texas to Palm Springs CA. Ray showed up with four men to pack and had it loaded in two hours. Everything was protected very well. I stayed in contact with the truck driver and he was actually ahead of schedule which was great. They unloaded in Palm Springs with some local guys, who again were very professional and took care of my property. I was weary about long distance movers and that I would be charged extra, but this was not the case. I was extremely happy with the service and with the cost of this company!
I do have one complaint and this is why I did not give them 5 stars. I allowed the movers to pack my closet and I was expecting boxes where the clothing is hanging, when I was unpacking I found all my cloths just thrown into a box, including dress shirts, suits, pants, jean ect. As you can imagine, everything was very wrinkled. Lesson learned pack up these valuables myself. As I thought about it, if some wrinkled clothes was the worst thing about a 1500 mile move, I should be happy. Again great service and pricing!

Horrific. Indescribably bad. Rude, no show, not prepared. I was not comfortable letting them even touch my things. When they finally showed up after being a day and a half late and unreachable, they were in a rental truck. They wanted an additional $ 600 before they even would start the move. We would not use them at this point. Just really really bad.
