Black Swan Screen Printing specializes in hand pulled screen printing. We work regularly with artists, designers, and business to produce high quality prints on garments, paper, wood, metal, and glass.

We are very interested in taking on jobs and clients seeking to stretch the limits of traditional screen printing, and in promoting Houston’s burgeoning printmaking community.

History

Established in 2009.

Black Swan LLC screen-​printing studio is located at 1824 Spring Street, and is part of Spring Street Studios near downtown. Here, we are positioned in the heart of Houston’s emerging arts scene, and are among more than a hundred art related studio businesses, stores, and galleries – all thriving upon the momentum of our interrelated small business network.

At Black Swan we specialize in the screenprinting of image/​logo replication upon a variety of canvases. Our range includes designing custom t-​shirts for company events; printing concert ad posters for upcoming shows; printing fine art serigraphs for gallery exhibits.

Business Owner

Ann Brooks has been a professional textile artist since 1989. Her work has shown in Millicent Rodgers Museum, galleries and stores in New Mexico and Texas.

In 2008, she started planning the creation of Black Swan Screenprinting, LLC and started up in 2009. Since then she continues to grow the business. She is a very active member in the art community.
