History

Established in 2007.

Since 1994 I have been developing my skills and experience in counseling and coaching. Having been through many severe emotional and relationship ups and downs, I have gained vital insights beyond my academic learning. My experience working for agencies, hospitals and family service programs has confirmed my love and gift for private practice. I am honored to provide my clients the highest quality counseling and coaching experience available. My clients tell me that in additional to resolving their pain and dilemmas, they leave with their hearts tremendously uplifted and their lives truly empowered. They often feel like they’ve been reconnected to their own spirits and sense of meaning, freedom and vitality!

As of 2013, I have been in the counseling field for fourteen years.

Growing up, I was raised with a number of core values that ennoble my therapy practice and strengthen the connection I have with my clients; values that include the oneness of humanity, equality of women and men, walking the spiritual path with practical feet, and understanding the importance of kindness and other virtues.

I am originally from Fort Lauderdale, Florida. My first degree is in social psychology from Florida Atlantic University. From a young age I have been fascinated by the challenges which face humanity and the opportunities for creating lasting peace and happiness in society, beginning with individuals and families. I frequently give talks on this topic in addition to private sessions. My second degree is a Master’s of science in Social Work from the University of Tennessee.

I enjoy painting, dancing, and contemplating the mysteries of life!
