New owner Melissa is so sweet! Everyone was very friendly, and Beth did a great job on my manicure!

Our first experience there was at first glance super nice, but as the pedicure went on, my wife got a really obnoxious lady who said everything in a rudely sarcastic way that wasn’t pleasing or relaxing. The lady even made fun of every detail about her feet and unprofessional. It was a horrible outcome as her pedi was smeared at one point and she didn’t fix it. The lady even left her sitting there and never told her she was done. Bad first time just a warning to everyone.

Nina is wonderful! I have been going to Bliss Day Spa for the last few months and have been pleased with the services provided every time. To date I have only used the spa for waxing, but I plan to check out their other services as well.

UPDATE: Came in today. Was told they switched back to their prior prosecco label. So glad!!! I could definitely tell by the taste too!
Old Review: Wish they had not changed their prosecco brand they serve on Sunday’s. It tastes sweeter than usual today so I asked what it is. Found out they switched to Andre’s. Not totally sure what they were using before, but Andre’s is about as low as you can get. Not a huge fan. Service is still great, but the point of a relaxing pedicure is somewhat negated if I have a headache later from drinking the cheap stuff.

My girlfriend and I went in to get our nails and toes done on Tuesday at 5:30. Before they got started we said we wanted shellac and asked how much it was. The front desk girl said $ 20. I received a basic manicure with shellac and pedicure and was charged 90 $ at check out. This was news to my ears because when we walked in and asked the front desk receptionist how much shellac was she said 20 $. When asked after j was charged She then went on to say they charged me $ 70 for heavenly bliss and $ 20 extra for shellac. I looked at the menu and said, I did not receive paraffin treatment. She went to give me a refund of $ 10 and tools 30 minutes after our services to do. My friend who went at 5:30 appointment with me was charged $ 70 and we had the same services. She paid $ 35 for joyful bliss pedicure which is what I got, and 35 for fresh and go mani, which is what I got as well.
Not only was I overcharged by $ 20, I still tipped $ 10 originally before I realized I was over charged and my nails came out horrible. She left a lot of white space between my cuticles and nails with the shellac polish. The tips of my nails are white and the polish looks like I’ve had It on for 2 weeks when it’s been two days.

My experienced was ok. Staff and customer service was fine. Nothing special in the service. Good job with the nail but over priced for mani/​pedi french nails $ 103. Will never go back. I have better experienced in other salon for mani pedi for half of price of that. I was just curious how good the service when I saw the review from Unilocal but wasn’t that impressed. It wasn’t really worth $ 103. I guess the drinks aren’t free. Don’t waste your money. It’s over priced.

Very very nice staff, but that’s the end of the pros.
The mani/​pedi was very disappointing all around. My shellac mani is splotchy and uneven, my cuticles look ragged, and I’ve got polish on the skin around my fingers and toes. All for the bargain price of $ 75.
Maybe another technician would do a better job, but I’m not coming back to find out.

Came to Texas from Boston to see a concert tomorrow night and had today to kill. Figured I would just hang out and enjoy the weather but definitely was not expecting to be pampered like a princess! Went to Bliss Day Spa because of the good reviews and I’m so happy I did. Chris greeted me and was very warm, welcoming and attentive and offered me water and champagne. Yes please! He even helped me choose a nice color to complement my skin tone. Then Kimmie gave me the best pedicure I’ve ever had in 30 years. She was meticulous and thorough and did not rush any part of the process. She was very nice and friendly and made me feel as comfortable as possible. Hands down the best spa experience I’ve had in a while. If the concert sucks at least the highlight of my trip can be a great spa experience!

I took my wife there on her birthday. I chose this place because of all the good reviews. But there’s nothing special about this place. Not the nicest environment nor the service, but definitely the highest price I’ve ever had the service for. Not a place I would comeback again.

The girl at the front reception offered me a drink of choice when I checked in. SO Convenient you can make your appointment online. You’ll receive a text & email confirming the appointment. I made my appointment for a pedicure but was not given any choices of specific pedicure services when I arrived however they do list their service menu online. My nail tech Lee always referred to me by my name. I love that. Lee was very meticulous and she had a gentle hand. Her massage was lovely — perfect at the end of the day. I will say — I’ll be back very soon.

Let me just say, it wasn’t terrible. But definitely not my best experience for mani/​pedi. I’ve had many mani pedis over the years and I don’t think I’ve ever been so a nail salon that requires you to specify if you want gel shellac when booking the appointment. So when I got there I mentioned it, the receptionist said they don’t have time for it. Nothing they could do. Okay that sucks but whatever, my mistake I suppose. The place has a cool vibe, seems clean, everyone was nice… as far as I know, for the most basic mani pedi package it’s $ 55? We weren’t provided any options of wax, or any fun treatments, etc. My pedicure looks great. My manicure, eh I’ve had better and paid less. And it’s already chipping the next day. Plus side? The girls I went with said the drinks were awesome.
Would I return here again? Maybe after I’ve exhausted other salon options. It wasn’t bad, but I could take it or leave it.

I planned my best friend’s bachelorette party here and, while it has not happened just yet (future post to come!), I wanted to go ahead and applaud Bliss Spa for their awesome customer service.
In the midst of planning our party, we hit a snafu with our reservation. Manager Tasha and owner Nancy were so quick to assist and accommodate my party! It is rare that a company will go so above and beyond to make their customers feel secure and welcomed. For everyone planning a spa party, definitely consider Bliss Day Spa.

Here for a bachelorette party! They are the best! They had beverages for us, but also allowed us to bring whatever we wanted. They had a nice space to accommodate our wants! Awesome prices! The assistant manager Chris was incredible! Truly made our experience everything it should be :) definitely recommend for a party or just to relax on your own.

So my first time here with my mother I wasn’t all that impressed, however she loves it so I decided to book as a Pre –Mother’s Day treat. First the good: Ask for Ann (pronounced Awn). She did an EXCELLENT job on my mothers mani and pedi and she was courteous. My tech’s name was Kimmie who also did a pretty great job (I only got a pedi), especially when I changed my color twice. Overall, if you’re looking for a more relaxed setting without the packed house and smell of acrylic everywhere, come here. They run specials pretty consistently and drinks (mimosas, wine, cocktails) are on the house. I’ve never had an alcoholic beverage here but everyone gets one. Beware though. Booking appointments ahead are key. Now the bad: Four stars instead of five because I just think the floors and the pedicure basins left a little to be desired cleanliness-​wise. I did see them disinfect with two different cleaners after each use, however never saw anyone actually scrub or wipe the basins in between. I’ll be back but I’ll be requesting a slightly deeper clean before the water is run.

I’ve been here twice for bridal party mani & pedis. I highly recommend this place for late groups. The service is top notch and the nail technicians are efficient. Huge bonus: they serve COMPLIMENTARY alcohol. Variety of wines and cocktails! Not very many nail salons provide this kind of service so they definitely deserve the recognition. Ample parking (for the area), complimentary drinks, and friendly staff are all great things about this place. The reason why I give them 4 stars instead of 5 is because it’s expensive. I couldn’t go here regularly because of the prices.

I have come to bliss for a few times now and my experience has always been great! Mothers day i was there for a pedi and mani with french tips. I was really cared for. They took their time with everything. Eva did my nails and to say the least they were perfect. I will definitely be coming back.

I threw my bride a spa party here as part of her bacherlorette festivities. Since I don’t live in Houston anymore, all communication had to be through phone and email and I really appreciate everyone that helped me out through the process!
Our party was very small (4 girls including the bride herself). They offer some decently priced packages with mani, pedi, facials, and even massages. Each person gets a complimentary beverage but you’re allowed to bring in your own drinks and food as well. They are very organized since they wanted to know each name’s guest and list of services they were getting. After the guests figured out what they wanted I had to put down either half of the total amount or $ 250 (whichever is greater) for the deposit. They stressed to me that on the day we get there, I could only pay the remaining balance with my card or have everyone pay me cash. (No splitting cards). Of course there was a 20% gratuity added on top of the total as well. But Bliss did not throw any surprises at me since all of their policies were made clear to me over the phone and on paper which they had me signed an agreement to as well.
The day of the party arrives and the staff needed a few minutes to set up. The bride and I got facials which we both really enjoyed. Our other guests were happy with their services as well. They have a great selection of OPI and Essie colors. The only thing I didn’t like was I rushed into my facial right after my pedicure and my polish didn’t have the proper time to dry so it smudged when I got home and since this place was too far to go back I had to go to a different salon for a polish change.
I like all the different amenities they offer here and this a great option if you’re in the neighborhood but I wouldn’t come out of my way again.

I received a Spa week gift card from a colleague and Bliss was one of the participating spas. I arrived at Bliss at 5:00 on 5÷4÷15 for a 5:30 appointment and was greeted by Shannon with a friendly smile and soothing voice. She assisted with my polish color and showed a complimentary beverage list to me. I selected the Rose wine and shortly after Eva called my name to begin my session.
I received a Fresh-​N-​Go Mani $ 15 (w/​shellac polish $ 20) and Fresh-​N-​Go Pedi $ 25. Eva was meticulous with my pedicure and shellac manicure, which I greatly appreciate. Eva has a great personality and I enjoyed chatting with her. She is passionate about delivering quality service and she far exceeds it!
The décor is nice and relaxing with black, white and pink motif. The salon was quiet enough to read/​relax which allowed for a nice retreat after work. I will definitely return.
Shannon and Eva are awesome! Do yourself a favor and schedule an appointment today.

The salon is really cute and clean. As soon as I walked in I was greeted by smiling faces whom helped me book a appointment. Later when I decided I didn’t want to wait till tomorrow and called back they happily cancelled said appointment and gave me the next available. When I walked in again I was welcomed and greater just as happily as the first time as well as offered a beverage. Anh and the young lady who did my manicure did a great job and paid great attention to detail. The only reason I am not giving it five stars is because I wish there was more of a selection as far as none Gel nail polish goes.

Best mani/​pedi/​facial/​wax spot, EVER! Absolutely love everyone here! Been coming for 2 years now, not a single complaint! Karla is my nail tech and ALWAYS does a fabulous job! Always surprises me with amazing nail art. Veronica is my esthetician and has transformed my skin from dull to radiant plus she keeps my eyebrows looking fierce! Snow is a miracle worker, she knows all the little tricks to get the perfect color combinations! These ladies are true professionals and very knowledgeable of their craft. I refuse to go anywhere else! #blissbeautyforever
