BUGCO Pest Control

We moved to Houston from California and boy, the bugs out here are different! My first week here I was immediately searching for a pest control company. I called around and finally settled on Bugco because they were friendly and reasonably priced.
Tito came and was extremely friendly and helpful. He walked around the home and showed us areas that were potential entry sites for critters. The second time he found that we had giant rats and set us up with some bait boxes. Then our bait boxes flooded over Halloween weekend and they sent him back out to check them out and refill them.
I haven’t seen any bugs since Bugco has been coming around and Tito does a great and thorough job. He’s very polite and professional and I trust him and Bugco.

The exterminator was very nice & professional. He made sure our dogs would not be near any of the spray. He was knowledgeable & efficient. The fiancée & I would recommend this company if you spy some roaches in your place!

We were in the process of painting a room and noticed signs of possible termite damage. We called and set up an appointment for inspection. Germaine showed up within a couple of days and performed a very detailed inspection. Unfortunately, he confirmed the presence of termites. He took the time to explain the entire process involved in getting rid of them and within a week everything was completed. From setting up the initial appointment to having the treatment completed, customer service was amazing. I highly recommend these guys for anyone needing any type of termite treatment.

I bought my first condo a year ago and suffice to say the prior owners didn’t mind a filthy house. I had so many roaches and other bugs I didn’t even want to move in! I tried basically all the products I could from the store, and nothing helped. Finally, I got on Unilocal and saw the great reviews for BugCo. They were 100% accurate.
Germaine came out and was super thorough, taking care of all the nooks and crannies bugs like. He was very knowledgeable and super nice. He came back about a week later to follow-​up and make sure I hadn’t seen any more bugs, and covered some of the hot spots again. I am happy to report a year later I have been bug-​free since that visit!
BugCo offers a good deal for quarterly/​maintenance visits when you buy the full year in advance, so that’s what I did. I really like that Germaine is always the one to come out — he is super nice, so professional, and easy to talk to. He also loves dogs, which is a big plus for me – knowing he’d be careful to choose the solution that wouldn’t be dangerous for my little pug!
I have already personally recommended BugCo to a number of friends because I have been so happy with their service, their results, and their lovely staff. Honestly, I can’t say enough positive about this company — especially Germaine!

We have been using Bugco for almost two years and we couldn’t be happier with the service. Germaine Abrams is our regular technician and does a great job every time. He’s always on time or even early and is very personable, which is rare these days. But most important, we have no bug problems at our house! Thanks again to Germaine and Bugco!

I called Bugco for a termite inspection on a house we are in the process of purchasing. They were able to set up an appointment right away. They were also patient with several phone calls that needed to be made to coordinate with realtors and current home owner. Any questions I had were addressed thoroughly and professionally, without trying to scare me into anything. Chris was courteous and honest about what the inspection was and was not able to reveal, and was helpful in assisting with the home buying decisions that needed to be made! Bugco is definitely on the top of my list for any pest control needs!!! :)

I recently started a new job with a new company. They have been throwing up new locations like crazy… however, the location I opened was infested with fleas!!! The first day open I came home with multiple bites on my body. so we called Bugco! Chris came within the hour of the phone call, and arrived the next morning before we opened (9AM) and the place was safe to enter at opening time because he took it upon himself to get here at 6AM! What great customer service, not to mention he completely rid the place of EVERYTHING!!! I HIGHLY RECOMMEND BUGCO TO ANYMORE WHO IS HAVING SIMILAR ISSUES!!! AMAZING!!!

These guys are just terrific! We started with them August, 2014 with a terrible cockroach infestation. I had called several places and decided on Bugco Houston because it seemed that their customers were more than just a number. I was looking for someone who would take a personal interest in our situation until the infestation was under control.
Indeed, they stayed with us step by step to get a handle on the situation. They did not just spray, go away and come back in 4 weeks. When we hit a plateau, instead of just spraying more often and with stronger chemicals, they helped us to determine that the water from the small roof leak was just enough to keep the population going. Once we fixed the roof, the treatments went way down. They are not pushy. They only come out when we call. They are top notch! Highly recommended!

I had BUGCO come out to my house for an inspection after hearing unsettling noises in my attic. First off, Justin (he’s great, BTW) shows up on time! No one does that anymore. I was so grateful because I had a tight meeting to make at work.
After an inspection, he offered a few solutions that I could do myself instead of having them back out and charging me more money. So nice of him!
Because his professionalism and because he wasn’t just there to charge me as much money as he could, I will be using them for termite treatment.

About a month ago, my apartment had a bit of a fleas situation because one of my dog caught it. At first I didn’t think it that crucial and thought using over the counter products would help get rid of it. Little do you know, this little fleas can multiply in such a short amount of time. Plus if you don’t constantly vacuum everyday for two weeks, most likely you didn’t get rid of it completely. After getting bit all over my legs and being in pain, I had to do something about it. My apartment had pest control, but not for fleas. I know, bummer.
After googling and Unilocaling, I ran across Bugco. Darrel who helped me over the phone was very polite, informative, and helpful. He was able to connect me with his colleague (Tito) the very next morning. Tito came not only on time but earlier than his scheduled time. He answered all my questions and helped sprayed down my 2×2 apartment unit very extensively and was very detailed about it. Both Darrel and Tito reminded me about my one month warranty in case there were still any activities. Tito also gave me directions of what to do post-​spraying.
That same evening, coming home I was able to sleep soundly. No more being bit overnight and I was no longer afraid to walk bare feet again.
Last week, I got bit on my hand and was afraid that one of those little guys survived. I was hesitant to call and ask for the warranty coverage, but Darrel once again assisted me as if I was a new customer like the very time. He was again very helpful and looked up my information and found that I was still covered. I then requested for Tito this time around and was able to get an appointment with him this afternoon. Darrel tried his best to fit me into Tito’s schedule as soon as possible and I am so grateful. Tito once again was ON TIME AND EARLY and without a doubt great with his service. I have to say I am very pleased, because I know the fleas are gone for good.
I will definitely use Bugco’s service if needed in the future and would recommend them to anyone who wants their money’s worth. Please ask for Tito, because the two times I encountered him he was never rude and always in a happy mood. In which I think it is very important, because the customer service that’s provided to customers will show you exactly the company’s moral and how much they valued their client’s business.

Can’t say enough good things about these guys. I made the horrendous mistake of using Orkin for a year (Don’t even get me started on that. It involves quite a bit of swearing) and after the contract ended, I was ready for some other company. I found these guys through Unilocal,and they definitely earned their stars. Polite, punctual, fair priced, and best of all-​the bugs are gone! Will certainly be using them in the future.

Called 5 times over 3 days. They never answer their phone or call back. Gave up.

Can I give 10 stars?! The guys from Bugco are outstanding! I wish I could get customer service like this everywhere I go. Jeff was absolutely AMAZING in helping us with our problem. We noticed termite downspouts in our eaves and he came the same day to check it out! No charge! He wanted to make sure of his assessment before giving us a quote so he has an entomologist come out, again NO CHARGE! He came up with a plan for us the was well below what we thought we would be paying. He has be reassuring through this whole process and even came over for a spot treatment when we removed some of the rotten wood. I will always use Bugco for all of my buggy needs!

Great service and effective fast. I started having little roaches fly into the house when I opened the doors and was finding them in the kitchen. I called this company and they sent Cody out, he was awesome and explained everything. It’s now about 2 weeks later and no more roaches. I have found a few dead ones on the kitchen floor but that’s about it. Thanks Guys!

Called out Bugco to spray our new home. Germaine Abrams showed up early and surveyed the home while discussing what options we had. He took care of a large wasp nest that we had and sprayed the perimeter of the house — inside and out. Germaine wore protective covers on his shoes, was very pleasant to talk to, and was very knowledgeable. He laid a few traps as a preventative measure and left. Excellent service as mentioned by other reviewers.

Excellent customer service! From the man that I spoke to when making my appointment to the technician that came to treat my house, everyone here has been top notch. We were with Pest Defense before and Bugco was way more thorough in their treatment. Had the inside and outside treated, my yard treated for fire ants and my wasp problem dealt with. The pricing was very reasonable and so we signed up for the full program. I’m very happy that we found this company so I don’t have to deal with these things myself anymore! Chris was awesome and very professional.

First off this company is very comforting in a time in which I was «bugging» out! I literally called in the midnight hour and within 1 hr of them opening their offices the next morning I received a call from the company.
The office manager Cory was very kind and understanding of my situation. He offered scheduling suggestions that worked with my busy schedule. He also stated he was going to send someone very knowledgeable and helpful and that he did.
In comes Germaine Abrams… not only did he call before arrival, but he was also ON TIME! He came and inspected my apartment and answered all of my paranoid questions of the situation. He was NOT agitated, in a hurry, or uninterested. He honestly treated me like I was his only customer for that day, which is very rare to get from any company. He was very friendly, courteous and full of caring knowledge of all things creepy crawling! When he came back out to do the treatment, he was early and I pointed that out. But not in a bad way, I was actually tickled that this company is attentive to a customer’s lifestyle and stands by their appointment time. He came in and did the treatment. When done, he treated his own shoes to make sure that my paranoia was not going to kick in about bringing those creepy critters eggs in a non infested area! HOW COOL IS THAT!!! So AWESOME!
Here is a virtual hug and Hi5 to BugCo and Germaine for making this experience as pleasant as possible. I hope to not ever have THIS issue again but if I do… I am certainly calling people I trust to eliminate the pesky problem and with care… BUGCO!

We moved into a rental that had been sitting idle for a month. The place was overrun with spiders, wasps, ants, etc. Our technician, Clint, came out and did a great job. He was very thorough. There was a mishap with billing that Chris resolved immediately upon receiving knowledge of the issue.

Moving from New York City, the only pests I was only really exposed to were cockroaches, rats, and pigeons (I’m not a bird lover don’t hate me). So moving to Houston really opened up my eyes to all these critters roaming around town and my house. I absolutely loathe bugs (as you can tell I also strongly dislike camping) so I was so grateful to have found Bugco to prevent any disgusting bugs from coming into our home.
I’ve been using Bugco for about a year now and they regularly come to our house to preventatively spray every 3 – 4 months. The service is excellent! Our regular guy (Tito) is always on time, if not early. He’s super friendly and takes the time out to listen or answer any questions we have. Spraying is fairly quick– our 3 story townhouse and outside area takes about 45 minutes to complete. We have 2 dogs and he assured us the spray was dog friendly and not toxic (although during our very first appt with Bugco the dogs were not allowed in the backyard for a few hours). Payment is by credit card which they swipe on their iPad which makes it quick and easy.
What I also love about Bugco is their appointment reminders– we receive emails every 3 months to remind us about routine spraying– this is great for me as I probably have the worst memory in the world. All you have to do is call and set up an appt and they usually are able to send a guy out within one week.
I would definitely recommend Bugco to anyone looking for pest control! I know they work because usually a day after spraying I see dead bugs around the perimeter of our home. Thank you Bugco for protecting me from scary bugs!!!

I highly recommend Bugco to anyone who is in need of pest control. We have had a uncontrollable ant problem that has been on going for a few months now and we finally decided to have someone come out to take care of the problem as I started to fear that the ants were slowly invading the house.
I called on a Friday and was pleased that they were able to schedule someone to come the next day. Germaine did a great job on the house. He was at the house diligently working for almost 2 hours which is unheard of! He was very thorough in doing his job and even cleaned out all the spider webs. He has to be one of the friendliest pest control technician I’ve met!
The cost was reasonable as well. $ 85 for the interior of the house and $ 40 for the yard treatment. I used the Unilocal offer and was able to save $ 10. The treatment is also good for 2 months.
