Extremely expensive for poor workmanship.
My dress was in mint condition when I left it for alterations. I tried it on at work and several coworkers have pictures of me in the dress at the time it arrived from China. I went for second fitting and owner, Jeannie, told me «she didn’t notice originally that the hem hung crookedly. She said I could wear it that way or have her fix it… Evidently she or her worker erred while taking in the dress and did not «own up» to it. She CHARGED ME ANOTHER $ 100 to fix their poor work. (This on top of the original $ 200 to take in the dress). This repair of the hem changed the entire look of the tea length dress and made it several inches shorter. My expectations were not met at this place. Jeanne is overworked and does most of her sewing at night at home. She seems like a nice person, but I canNOT recommend this place.

This place is awesome. I came in with no appointment. She was able to take me. She’s nice and professional. She knows what she’s doing. She showed how my wedding dress could be altered at the minimum cost but still look good. This place is very reasonable priced. Everybody was so sweet to me. Overall, I’m very satisfied with the services.

This is a hidden gem. I have been coming here to have my shirts tailored. Every time I use their service, they give me a perfect alteration. These people don’t cheat. If they mess up then they will fix their mistake free of charge.
Their specialization is in wedding dress alteration but you can have your pants and shirts altered here as well. Fairly affordable.

Wow! Jeannie is amazing! I’ve had many suits, jackets, pants repaired, hemmed, and even taken down two sizes. Each time, they look impeccable! She does quality work and is very professional, friendly, and dependable. I highly recommend!

I have tried many different tailors around NW Houston but Classic is the best. They take their time and they’re not the cheapest but they do a fantastic job. I now recommend them to family and friends.

It may be slightly pricey, but I got my wedding dress altered there by Cece and she did a fantastic job! My dress looked like it was made for my body after she worked her magic on it. I also had a couple other clothing items altered there too and she did a great job on them too.

I went for the first time to get a dress tailored and it looked like I bought it that way. She got it to fit me just right. They are nice, spent the time and made sure I liked the work done before I paid. I would recommend this place to anyone. And my husband will be back to get his suits tailored as well.

Cece is amazing! She did my dress for my wedding, which was a VERY difficult dress to alter– actually two dresses in one. It was the most perfect fit, too! She is so patient and has great ideas about what alterations to make and I learned to just trust her, because with just one fitting, it was already basically perfect! She also made my veil, which was beautiful.
My mom had Cece re-​alter her dress after she went to a very expensive alterations place on Post Oak that couldn’t/wouldn’t get her mother of the bride dress to fit correctly. After one fitting, it’s perfect and looks like a different dress.
I will never go to a different alterations shop again. They are amazing at Classic Tailors!

They were recommended to me by the place I purchased my bridesmaids dresses at. CeCe is amazing, very helpful, and talented. I had her alter my wedding dress and was impressed by her customer service and workmanship.
