Alain and Marie LeNotre opened Culinary Institute LeNotre to offer high quality culinary arts education. They have attracted world-class chef instructors with a passion for culinary arts and teaching.

Alain L.
Business Owner
Alain LeNôtre is a certified pastry chef, candy maker, and ice-cream maker. He was trained as a cook at the Grand Véfour, a famous 3-Star Michelin Restaurant in Paris. Alain LeNôtre earned an executive MBA from the University of Paris I and has over 40 years of experience.
Alain LeNôtre comes from a famous Parisian family. Thirty years ago, he created the chef school «Ecole LeNôtre» in Paris, France, one of the world’s best chef retraining schools, where he taught for a number of years. He started his own business in Houston in 1983 with a retail and wholesale bakery. In 1998, he opened an international cooking and baking school, now named Culinary Institute LeNôtre, and began enrolling students. The school now has more than 300 students specializing in culinary arts and management. He is proud to share his passion and love of culinary arts.
