Discount Tire Store – Houston, TX

That is one the worse place to go cross thread my lugs so they broke off all 5 on the front. I will never go to that discount every again. Bad customer service
Lol at you when you have problem on your vehicle and they send you somewhere else to fix there mess up.

I tell you what, I am so glad I came here to get my new tires. The week before Thanksgiving, I was in a near death accident. It was raining really bad and I was driving on the freeway at about 40 mph when I tried to change lanes… my car started messing up. I could not turn my steering wheel (the steering wheel locked in place) then my car didn’t stop when I pressed the brakes…
Hint here: I’ve never experienced hydroplaning in my life.
My car was just going and I started to scream and said, «Car stop». I was so scared. It was inches away from hitting an exit sign on 45. I was afraid!
The reason why my car did this was because I had no more threading on my wheels. The next day I went up to discount tire and a nice guy, David assisted me to fixing the problem. He was so kind and smiley. My dad just kept on complimenting David on how nice he was.
I enjoy my tires. They are sturdy and full of threading, though the only problem I have is the presentation on the tires look dirty. I guess I will just have to go to the car wash to get that done.
This place is right next door to the .99 cent only store, so it is good to shop the store while your car is getting worked on. I usually go to the one in Pearland, but I might just start coming to this one since it is closer to my area.

Came here last wed to get my tire checked. I said i had a leak but all they did was air it up and reset my sensors. My light came on 4 days later so i went to another location and they found something in my tire and fixed it. If this place would have done their job in the first place and actually CHECK the tire i wouldn’t of had to go wait 2 hrs at another location. Highly disappointed.

The staff here is great! From the moment I stepped out of my car they were helpful and very attentive. The technician came and told me when he was pulling my car in the bay so I knew they were working on it. In and out in 30 – 45 minutes which I think is AWESOME for a Saturday at 10am (lobby is packed). Make sure to schedule an appointment online!
