Way slower than my Katy location but still reliable service you would expect to fine from this chain.
They can use more bodies at the front desk to take care of the constant influx of people coming to the shop.
Once you are serviced, you do get great service and the service is quite efficient. They are actually knowledgeable about many aspects of vehicles outside of tires and will give you their opinion on your vehicle if asked.
If you just need air checked, or just want to have all your tires topped off, they have a separate work station to the far right of the business. You get in line to get the air done, and once someone comes out to do the first vehicle, they stay until the entire line is cleared out.
They utilize their staff in the tire changing area and not the reception area, so truly they just need to hire more people to process customers to be a 5 star establishment.

Great customer service! It took almost an hour and half to get my new tires but I guess it’s okay, they were pretty busy when I got there. :-p

Had to Get a new tire unexpectedly, and in short notice since I’m Due any day now.
Zack, the person who helped me, was very helpful and went out of his way to search tires to match all Four on my truck in less than a day!
Anyways, my experience was great. The staff was friendly and helpful.

I am 12 days away from having a baby and unexpectedly needed 4 new tires. I was in an extreme time crunch to get back to Houston for an appointment and these guys totally hustled to not only get the 4 tires I needed from a different location, get the work done well and get me out of here on time. Thanks especially to Jonathan who was very helpful and informative.

Every time I come here the staff is very helpful. Keep it up. The only thing I can say is that the wait can be a tad bit long. So I suggest that you get up as soon as the place opens and you can be in and out.

GO HERE. My tire was losing air quickly, and I knew I had to find a replacement. I called up Discount Tire and they didn’t have my exact tire but they had a close match. When I got there, everyone was very nice to me. They never tried to sell me a tire I didn’t need. They found the nail in my tire within minutes and gave me the same quote as on the phone to replace it. They also offered a full warranty for all of my tires for under $ 100. On Houston roads, this is a must! Go here if you need tires and definitely do the warranty.

One sunny morning as I was driving to The Woodlands for work, I heard one of my tires flapping and hitting the side of the car. This isn’t really the best noise to hear while going 65 mph on I-​45. As I switched lanes, the flapping noise stopped to my relief… only for a yellow light with a «!» and a little squiggly line to turn on in my dashboard. Of course, I had no idea what it meant at the time, but I knew it wasn’t good and decided to get off at the first exit possible. Since it was probably less than .1 miles away, I had to swerve, cross 3 lanes and barely make it off the freeway to the feeder. I knew it was my tire when I was slowing down for the red light and my car was struggling to move.
But! To my delight, Discount Tire was waiting on that exact corner with an angelic, heavenly glow and Handel’s «Messiah» playing in my ears. I was able to get my poor car into the parking lot and checked my indeed-​flat tire. DT was able to get my tire fixed in about 30 minutes, and they were professional from the beginning to the end. Even though the tire was a little pricey, they were able to match the tire/​tread to what I already had, and even gave me lifetime insurance (which includes replacement and free rotation), which I think is worth it.
There also seemed to be a lot of people waiting in the lobby area (did they all have flat tires, too?), but I was glad to be in and out, and on my way to work again. Thank you, DT, for saving me from an otherwise horrible morning!

Appointment made to have tires that we bought here a year ago rotated and serviced. Initially, I am unimpressed, we pull up and two of the service men are play fighting in the third bay and all bays are full and about 12 people waiting inside and outside of store. I waited in the car for thirty minutes and watched all the people working in each bay and the men in the first and second bays worked diligently and organized and steady. We were fortunate to get the guys in the second bay — they were super nice, worked quick and made the trip so much better than the one star that I had initially started out with. Those two men earned the five star rating for customer service and the actual tire service!

Generally a very decent experience.
Not always happy with tire selection or how quick they discontinue tires, but their customer service is top-​notch. Prices are reasonable and they have a decent waiting area both inside and outside if the weather is nice enough – rare in Houston.
I recently lost a tire due to road damage and they honored their replacement policy to the letter. I paid an additional deductible on the new tire which amounted to just $ 28.
Free tire rotations and TPMS safety system adjustments even if you don’t purchase tires from them.

I am once again a happy Discount Tire customer. After all the trouble I experienced with my «rebuilt» sensors, I contacted the managers. Jason Cox immediately addressed my concerns and installed four new sensors and made sure my TPMS recalibrated. THANK YOU for taking care of your loyal customers!

First time here, and it was on a Saturday. I expected them to be slow and busy, but they were fantastic. Friendly, quick, and just an all around great experience.

This is my second time coming to this location. The guys here are great! Very friendly, knowledgeable, fast, and most of them are cute, too! Large waiting area, nice air conditioning.
