I hadn’t been here in many years, since my son was a Cub Scout, so I went back for old time’s sake, to the pizza buffet.
The sausage — bacon pizza was good. The white chicken garlic pizza was very good. The others were unremarkable. The salad greens were going brown around the edges. The dressings were gloppy and unappetizing.
The buffet cost about $ 12, I thought that was kind of steep. To me, fair value for what was on offer was more like $ 9.50. If they want $ 2.50 more, they have to earn it. Why pay more than other places for the same basic thing?

This is our go to place for pizza delivery. They are always pretty quick and they have a full menu with a wide variety of specialty pizzas and some great additions like the garlic spinach stromboli. I add pizza rolls to every order because I like them just as much the next day, and you can’t forget the desert! They have three yummy types of desert pizza to choose from as well as cherry and apple strudel. Don’t forget to check online for coupons before you order and you can often save a little cash; you can even submit your order on their website where you can save your favorite items for speedy ordering the next time.

So confused and dissappointed on the latest price increase. Totally understand the need for price increases… but almost 50% is a little much. The side salad (lettuce, a tomato, onion and a few shreds of cheese) in a small 4×4 container went from 2.99 to 4.99. The pepperoni rolls went from one dollar each to 1.75. Just is very dissappointing for a side salad to be 4.99, when the same size salad at McDonalds or Wendys is a dollar. Still love this place, but will only go in for the buffet, no delivery.

This is the place to go for lunch, if you dont feel like eating. The place was empty. The buffet matched it. There was neither an abundance of fresh pies nor anything else for that matter. The few pies they had out tasted stale and cold.
This was a major let down, as to this point I had heard nothing but good things about Double Daves.
Never again!

Best pizza in the area hands down and amazing deals if you are looking to feed 6+ people for a decent price. Staff and drivers are always friendly and on time. There will be times I am stuck at work and have to place an order 3 hours in advance and they always make it to my establishment on time with the food still hot and the drinks still cold. I guess it help that we tip the drivers really well. For as long as I am employed out here in the area this will be the place to order pizza.

Sorry to say, we won’t be visiting Double Dave’s anymore. In the past the kids and I loved to go eat their buffet for lunch, but since they changed the price we won’t be going back. Now they charge full kids price buffet of $ 4.99 for 3 and under. So that means my son who is 3 and only eats 1 piece is charged full price. No thanks!
Also, never, ever order their pizza for delivery. Every single time we have ordered delivery the pizza comes fallen to one side of the box. I guess the drivers were never told that the pizza box needs to be held horizontal to the ground and not vertical.

My daughter is always in the mood for pizza and we are always in the mood for something better than your typical pizza offering. Double Dave’s Pizzaworks is a place that can make the whole family happy.
While most people rave about their Pepperoni Rolls, I am partial to the 4 Cheese Roll — thin pizza crust filled with a hot and tasty cheese center all rolled up and baked to perfection. I think Double Dave’s has really hit on something here.
We always get take out but have heard that Double Dave’s has one of the best buffets you can get in the world of pizza. Trying the pizza buffet is on my list of things to do as very few things in the world can top unlimited pizza piled high on my plate.
Right now, we just do things the old fashioned way and get it to go. Double Dave’s has a good thing going here and should certainly be on the list for those thrilled with the idea of trying out a new pizza place.
