Established in 2013.
Dr. Maria A. Mejia originally graduated with her medical degree from «Universidad de Oriente» in Venezuela, and completed her specialty training in Family Medicine at UTMB in Galveston, Texas. Her interests include primary care for the entire family with an emphasis on preventive care and women’s health. Dr. Maria Mejia is excited to have the opportunity to provide high-quality health care to the families of this community and will use her bilingual skills to assist patients struggling to express their medical concerns if English is their second language. She loves cultural diversity, and is very proud of her Latin culture.
