Edwards West Oaks Mall 14 & RPX

I think it’s a convenient location smacked right in the middle of west Houston. It’s never crowded and it’s right next to a mall if you have to wait for movie times. Staff is friendly and it’s worth the money. They give you a cool regal card which takes a $ 1 off your ticket

To many teenagers! That’s why when I go to this theater, I always see a rated R movie the concession stand is always busy and the lines are long but they do there best! The staff here is super helpful and very nice! Will be back for my rated R movies!

I go to this theater often because it is close to where I work, and my friends like to go there on week day nights. Truthfully, I am a fan of Alamo Drafthouse, and I wish they had not torn it down to put up yet *another* multiplex.
Despite that, this is a clean, organized cinema that usually plays decent films at convenient times. It is also about a dollar cheaper for a ticket if you use your Regal Card, which is free.

The theather it self is pretty nice. The employees are helpful when asked. Today the food was a miss. Our pizza was cold and the popcorn had an old stale taste. Normally the food is delicious I’m assuming today was just an off day.
The bathrooms are clean.

Incredibly clean with great staff and service. The seats are wonderfully padded and lean back; so comfortable. I love the dollar off movie ticket members reward card and the fact there are never any lines. Massive theatre rooms so you never have to sit directly next to a stranger and all the theaters are kept cool to beat the Texas Heat. Will definitely be watching new releases here (:

One of the high points about this place for me is that there is never a large crowd. You breeze in from the ticket booth to the concession stand, and to your comfy, clean seat. This is by far one of the best mainstream theaters in Houston. I only hope it stays this great as it ages.

This theatre was awesome! It was so clean! I am a big germaphobe lol and I was so pleased with this theatre. There were no food containers, no gunk on the floor, and no weird movie smells. The chairs are super comfy and rock. The grounds are also really pretty at night. Will be going back.

Very nice looking theater, it is clean and well designed. Make sure yiu get the rewards membership to earn points. You can get free food and even a free movie ticket. The staff is very friendly and helpful. The lines go fast and so far everytime I have been here we have a great experience. The seats are comfortable and the food tastes great. Yes it is junk food, but it is hot and ready with a great taste. I just hope that they keep this theater the way it is going now.

They have a quite a few show times!
They have a huge parking lot so that is never an issue.
It’s like a super chill movie theatre, like you can go casually, and be comfortable.
It’s pretty clean for the most part, but something about it is a little dated… not much but a little, at least to me.

I went to a 10:30 show and the parking seemed to be ample. Security patrols the parking lot and I did see surveillance cameras near the entrance. I’m always looking out for safety things. The entrance is lovely w waterfalls and lighting so a great spot for selfies/​usies whatever, lol
You purchase your tickets outside which was fine because the weather was nice. You may also purchase tickets online.
The bathrooms were really clean, theater itself as well. I had to have some water and I literally paid 4.75 for a dasani! That’s like 50 cents healer than the SMALL cherry slushi… SMH
The screen was awesome. I really liked the fact that my armrest did raise up (saw a previous post that it couldn’t but I was in theater 7 and on my left side it did. Did not try the right side) With such lovely lady lumps back there I found the seating to much more enjoyable!
I can’t give a higher rating because at ticket purchase the lady was rude. I ended up buying tickets to get on it instead of get on up which is a real problem for me, money supporting then wrong show and I didn’t realize it till the end of the night.
I will definitely return and pay attention to the ticket they give you!

Mostly clean love the fact that this place has not been over busy the past couple times I’ve been here. The stadium seating is awesome don’t have to worry to much about tall people sitting in front of you.

Everyone remembers the Alamo Drafthouse before it was shut down to make room for a bigger chain of Edwards to be located here at the West Oaks Mall. I am a loyal customer to the Alamo Drafthouse but the closest one is now all the way in Katy. I finally caved in and gave this theater a chance for a Sunday afternoon showing of LEGO Movie. I was surprised by the price and how clean the place is still.
First, the price of the regular Sunday ticket is comparable to majority of the theaters in the area. Like majority of the newer movie theaters now days, they have build a hallway where it will be the bottleneck for the usher to take your ticket stub and inform you which way is to your theater. The lobby is very spacious and clean and the service at the concession stand is very quick.
Now just like the name of the theater, it is all stadium seats. Since this place is still fairly new, the place is pretty clean as the floor is not stick nor are there any stains on the chair. For a long time movie goer, we all know the slow deterioration of a theater due to the time and sometimes the customers as well. I had a very good experience here and I will make a note on coming here during the day time for fair price ticket and theater enjoyment.

My go to movie theatre for quick drive and peaceful movie watching experience. I love coming here especially in the morning. No teens, no crying babies, no obnoxious kids, just me, my girlfriend, and the movie plus the other quiet people.

They don’t run any reminders before the movie not to talk or text, and patrons apparently interpret this as permission to do so. The couple sitting next to me talked pretty much incessantly, and people farther down the row texted.
They *did* run a reminder to clean up after yourself, but nobody paid any attention to that. Just left their containers in the armrests or on the floor. The clientele here pretty much sucked at the movie I saw.
Cleanup crew didn’t do so worth a hoot — left containers in the armrests and popcorn on the floor. Plus they came in during the credits, which I always watch all the way through if the movie is any good.
Snack bar menu keeps disappearing for advertising, so you have to hope you can locate what you want before it goes away.
Seats were pretty comfortable. Armrests don’t go up.

This is a fairly new movie theater so the interior is kept up well. It is clean and comfortable. The only gripe I have is that the arm rests don’t go up. I know not all of you care but if you got with a date, it matter to you ;)
The theater rooms itself are really nice. The picture is crisp and clear. The sound quality is noticeably better than most places I have been to.

Clean, never crowded and great sound. I am quickly becoming a fan of this cinema. I usually buy my tickets online and it’s super easy to pick them up at their kiosks inside. Their concessions are a bit expensive but that’s expected in today’s cinemas.

Not too bad for another west oaks try at a movie theatre. Instead of re doing the other theatre they decided to build a their own on the other side (good job) You don’t feel like your at west oaks. The chairs are comfy and its pretty clean for a theatre. (say it again in 5 years,. well see) but for now. it did the job and we didn’t have to drive too far. Im glad to have it and hopefully other business will follow their foot steps and help west oaks become a better place.

I’ve slowly stopped mourning the loss of the wonderful, memorable West Oaks Alamo Drafthouse. It has become a lot easier to cope with the new Edwards/​RPX theater that basically filled the void of movies on this side of town.
What I love about this place is how small it is. Too many theaters makes movie goers crazy, and some think they can sneak into all the movies, and it’s just extra space for teens to loiter.
Edwards is straight to the point. I love that they ask you to discard your trash, and thankfully (so far) most of the people are doing it! It’s really simple and keeps the floors from being sticky.
There’s a ton of commercials and videos prior to the movies to remind people about using their cell phones and talking during movies. It’s fantastic!
The staff is all very friendly, and the food service area is awesome. Watch out, if you’re like me and expect a small sized order, you will be shocked with a «large» as a small. I don’t even know what their large sized drinks look like.
Great date spot for all ages.
