This place is your one stop shop for any Mexican snacks you may be craving. They have any arrangement of fruit and Chamoy you can think of as well as savory snacks. Definitely always get a mangonada trole or a preparada everything I go. They also have fruit trays if you’re planning on having a party and need something to serve your guests. This place is usually booming but it’s well worth the wait. Seating inside can be limited for this reason.

If you like snocones, ice cream froyo, popsicles, smoothies, or anything frozen and sweet, you’ll like El Kiosko. This is a small, but growing, Houston chain serving Mexican frozen treats. I love ice cream shops like this because I can get a huge amount of good product for cheap — a medium cup of ice cream is only $ 2.75. I got two scoops of the coconut and chocolate. The coconut was very creamy and fresh with real slivers of coconut throughout. The chocolate was a mild milk chocolate with a hint of cinnamon perhaps. It was reminiscent of Abuelita hot chocolate. I had a craving for chocolate, or I would have ordered from the wide variety of water based sorbets. The fruity flavors looked beautiful and delicious, and I look forward to returning. This location has staff that speaks primarily Spanish, but there are signs listing all flavors and cups labeled with sizes and pricing posted, so you can make it work.
