EAI offers Long Term Residential Treatment which is a level of care that includes all the counseling and programming of an acute inpatient facility except at EAI, the 90 day stay, coupled with our open-​campus work/​school policy and sober activities schedule, provides clients a better chance of integrating their new recovery into their lives outside of treatment.

EAI believes that successful recovery requires addicts and alcoholics to learn how to deal with people, places, and things that trigger them while in a safe supportive environment to be prepared for the challenges of staying sober in the «real world.»

The ultimate goal of the program at EAI is to facilitate the client’s transition to sober, independent living.

Steve hails from Philadelphia, but acknowledges Texas as home for the past 20 years. His interest in the chemical dependency field began in 1994 as he pursued his counseling degree, but soon into the coursework, he realized his real calling toward the business side of the treatment industry. He quickly learned the financial side of the daily operations, from insurance contract negotiations, billing, collections, pre-​certification, to accounts payable and receivables and has worked in this arena for the past 14 years.

Steve has a personal connection with EAI in that he is a proud alumnus. During his time at EAI and afterwards, Steve was an integral participant in the Sober Recreation Committee, and served as chairman of the SRC Softball League. Steve is happily married to the love of his life, Julie, and together they enjoy hunting, fishing and the great outdoors.
