Disappointing. I hadn’t been to a Five Guys in a while and after this experience I won’t be going back anytime soon. I remember going here regularly back when I lived in DC and the prices being cheaper. It was $ 13 for a burger and fries. The burger was alright, but not as good as I remember them being. The fries were nice, but a little over salty(not as Cajun as I remember). It wasn’t bad, but there are too many other places in town to get better for cheaper.

I love tasting the meat(burgers) of Five Guys. So juicy, so thick, and they always look so beautiful. They’re ready, willing, and able to provide piles of salty firm sticks(fries) to suck on and nibble. I love it when my girlfriend eats Five Guys, because I can just talk about it for days.

They have the best burgers and give you extra fries for free. They have complimentary peanuts which is nice and everything is handicap accessible. Would definitely recommend this place to burger lovers.

Terrible customer service– walked in there and all the employees were avoiding working the register– then I got a lady who took my order but was annoyed she was doing it. Then I got to hear 3 women commiserating on how they hate working there. Overall bad experience.

Burgers are always great. Love the Cajun fries. Parking is difficult because it is located in a strip mall. Drink machine is in an odd location near restrooms.

I really wanted to love Five Guys. Unfortunately, I must have come on a bad day, because my burger had about as much structural integrity as a wet piece of tissue paper. It tasted pretty good but it was quite difficult to focus on that instead of holding the burger together. Also, the fries in a cup thing is cute, but I don’t know if I like this sort of deliberate«We don’t give a **** about presentation» vibe. It seemed like someone threw the cup into the bag, then just poured a scoop of fries into it behind their back, while blindfolded. Around 50% of the fries made it into the cup, which is an impressive success rate, if you’re suffering from an epileptic fit while pouring the fries. I liked the actual taste of the food, but the fact that actually eating it is a huge, messy ordeal is hard to ignore. When I’m paying over $ 10 for a meal, it seems to me that maybe my fries should arrive in a reasonable container and that my burger should stay intact for more than 5 seconds. This is a super unfortunate gripe, because I hate being that guy complaining about non-food things in a restaurant review. However, these things are so basic and easy to do right that I simply can’t fathom why Five Guys can’t seem to handle them.

Five Guys is a successful chain conquering the nation. A father & his four sons from DC decided to focus on preparing burgers to a public tired of poor service and poor quality from the major fast food franchises. For a premium of ~$ 5, you can go to Five Guys and have a burger that is much better than those available from the bigger fast food chains. Plus their fries are vastly superior to McDonald’s etc. etc. Just be mindful that a large order of fries is big enough for 4+ people. Try the extended selection of Coca-Cola beverages on hand(grape? raspberry? lime? who knew?!?) The burgers are juicy(careful!) & made to order. It isn’t hard to see why Five Guys are so popular, with franchises sprouting up across the nation. The burgers are simple and prepared efficiently. Anybody with a peanut allergy should stay far, far away from this place! For those who enjoy peanuts, I say grab a small helping while you wait for your number to be called.

Consistent with every 5 guy I went to. Also they have the 100+ drink choice machine. I’ve been trying to eat healthy lately so Kosher Dog or basic hamburger are your best choices. Maybe do the no bun thing, but I don’t think they have silverware at 5 guys.

Five Guys should be known for 2 things: its fries and the portion size of its fries. While the burger itself is not bad, priced at around 6 dollars for a double patty burger with everything, what really steals the show is the fries. Again, just to clarify its burgers are not bad at all and you can’t go wrong with any of the options. Now i will focus the rest of my time talking about the fries. The fries come in three sizes: Little, Regular, and Large. Regardless of which size you get, you will get A LOT. I got the little today but that was because I wasn’t super hungry and my friend didn’t want to share. But usually a Regular size tray of fries can feed at least 2 people REAL nicely. I’ve never tried the Large size… I guess if you have a big party you can give that a shot. The fries are usually pretty good, especially the cajun ones! They are pretty salted, so prepare a good cup of water. Your blood pressure will probably rise a bit after eating here, but if you are not in dire health needs, I think it’s worth it. The one complaint I have about the place is its wait time. After each order, depending on the time of day, it will take at least a good 5 – 7 minutes for your food to be ready(more if the lines are long). But this is because they make the burgers when you order them. However, if you don’t have much time to spare, you might consider going to the Chipotle or Whichwich next door. Five Guys is a burger restaurant that serves pretty good, above average burgers, but should really be more known for its fries. Regardless, this is a nice go-to place if you want something simple and filling.

I usually love five guys but was very disappointed on my last visit. I ordered a little bacon burger with grilled mushrooms and a little Cajun fries Togo. Ive always ordered the regular fries and would be defeated by the mountain of fries in my bag that could quite possibly feed 3 people. So this time I opted for the little fries thinking it would be the perfect serving for little me. Nope, wrong, it was pathetic. Reminded me of a happy meal. And no extra heaping of fries in the bag like all the other times I ordered a regular. I’m only upset because the small kids meal fries costed me $ 2.59. Rip off! On top of that I waited 20 mins for my food when the girl told me it would only take 7. ANDTHEN I didn’t get the grilled mushrooms I ordered but got grilled onions instead!!! I hate onions! I would’ve brought it back to the store if it wasn’t raining and major traffic outside. So disappointed in you five guys! Check your order before leaving the store!!!

Burger wars. Red robin, go back into the woods… Smash burger… You have been crushed. For«made to order» burger places that are chains this is by far my favorite. 4 stars from me for a burger place? Yep. Cheese burger w the works. Grilled onions and all the fixings. Double patty standard. Juicy, seasoned yumminess. The fountain drink machine where you can create 300 different variations of a drink is fun and high tech. The cajun fries are amazing. Slight crisp outside, hand cut, not frozen and soft inside. Cajun seasoning is soooo good. Pretty consistent from store to store as I travel the great USA. $ 11 buck with medium fries and burger and drink. A little pricier than fast food but worth it! Enjoy.

Came here one night and ended up buying some grease for dinner. There might have been some beef, bread, and maybe even a few other things mixed in too — couldn’t really tell.

Every time I crave for burgers, I find myself here, ordering a cheeseburger, all-the-way, with cajun fries for only $ 11. Very delicious and super satisfying!

Delicious greasy burger. Tasty spicy cajun fries. I couldn’t stop eating it until it was gone! Now, I’m saying OHMYGUT. I’m one that handles spicy food well but I guess the grease and spice were a synergistic combo punch. Overall, we had great service. The lady at the counter was very friendly. However, they messed up our order slightly. My wife asked for BBQ sauce and we got A-1. Good burger chain though. Outside of Texas, I’d give’em an extra star!

I had to meet a friend in the medical center area and asked him to join me at noon at Five Guys. I went online and ordered a cheeseburger as usual. Lettuce, onions, tomatoes, pickles and jalapeños. I treated myself to fries as well. When I got there, parking was a nightmare. I parked in the handicap slot on the side of the strip and walked through some grassy patch to the front. When I walked in, my friend was waiting and we proceeded to the counter. I informed him that I had placed my order online. He waited while I identified myself. The young lady told me the order was ready but they would put the fries in now, as stated online. I moved away and let my friend order his meal. Little did I realize that he would get fries too. We sat down after they gave me my order and munched on the fries. When they called my friend’s number, he went and picked up his meal. We had been eating fries and now we both opened the hot foil wrapped burgers. It was lunch time and everything was being made right there. There were enough people staffing the different stations. You couldn’t ask for anything fresher or quicker. We finished our meals with a ton of fries left over. This reluctantly went into the garbage. Better than eating them. I was at this location just to meet someone. My usual location is the one in Sugar Land. But the consistency of the service and food quality was amazing. I’m convinced any location may meet the same standards if management is savvy. A note about the hallway in the back. It was slippery and the restroom door was extremely tight for someone like me trying to use a cane and walk in. I had to be very careful going past hungry patrons getting drinks and hanging around for their number to be called.

For a while, my friends kept surprising me by saying how much they loved Five Guys. I’d been to the location in Sugar Land maybe a year ago and was entirely underwhelmed, didn’t think it tasted that great and thought it was overpriced. Well I decided to give it another chance(the med center location at least), and I’m glad I did. This time I ordered the regular burger(meaning just 1 patty instead of 2) for 3 something, and it was definitely enough food for me. I don’t think a double patty would’ve added much for me. The burger was quite good, and I was impressed that you could add mushrooms and grilled onions(as well some other toppings I can’t remember) for free. It tasted kind of like a good olé homemade grilled burger… the only problem was the sogginess of a portion of the bun. It was drippy and messy. I tried some of my friends’ cajun fries, and they were okay. There’s no real crisp to the fry… it’s a bit too dense and potato-ey for my tastes. There was also a bucket of free peanuts, which I delightedly collected to take home as a snack. Although I don’t like the fries much, the burgers are good enough that I will definitely go back.
