Disappointed that my friends and I arrived 30 minutes prior to closing which resulted in the absence of donuts available. The kind lady accommodated us with an alternative instead. We ordered everything from the Korean menu. I highly recommend the fries. Very tasty and flavorful. The pita was still great, but not as amazing as the burger. Overall I love the great customer service and quality of the food. I wish I took pictures. I’ll save that for another time. :)

Finally a Korean truck that isn’t fused with Mexican. Nothing against them but they’re a little too played out. This truck is fused with Greek, but they still offer the Mexican choices like the rest. I ordered the Korean pita wrap and it was heavenly! The pita was very fresh and soft and the Cajun battered fries weren’t bad either. Coworker ordered the donut bacon burger and highly recommends it. Hope to see more of this truck.

Just try the Korean pita. Just do it! For a small food truck, it has big taste. The guys that run it are really friendly and you can tell they work super hard. The do nut burger was amazing and their kimchi is yummmmm.

Korean fries are unbeatable, Korean burger is life changing. Great service too, be on the lookout for this truck!

Its good. My daughter had the donut cheeseburger. she said it was the best burger she ever had. Not a lot of variety for us Veg folks though. But she enjoyed it.

This is definitely the best food truck in Houston. Great customer service + delicious food = winner. I must admit, it is probably not the most healthiest (esp the donut cheeseburger (but so good!)…but you only live once! I rather die with a happy belly :). However, their Greek burger is a healthier option if you’re feeling guilty. If you wanna live it up, also try the kimchi fries!
I just found out they opened a 2^nd truck… so make sure you follow them on social media to see where they are for lunch or dinner, you won’t regret it!

Had the Korean fries. They were good though the meat could have been seasoned more and a little more. Little too heavy of sauce for my taking as well. Very satisfied overall.

Great food, huge portions!!! Shared the Texas Policy burger, Korean fries, and also got free fries for checking in on Unilocal.Fed 2 people with leftovers to spare. Delicious!

There is actually not much to say about this place. It’s great! All the more so the majority of 5 star reviews have already read my mind. I just want to confirm that Foreign Policy Food Truck offers amazingly delicious food! I don’t know if there are many food trucks in town, but I tried one, which is near by the Museum of Fine Arts.
When I am in the area I always order donut burger or The Korean fries, sometimes-​both. I have heard many great things about the bunuelos and next time that’s what I’ll get!

I had the pleasure of trying this delicious food truck at the Nassau Bay Food Eatz Party. It was one of the few food trucks serving items I’d eat (vegetarian mainly) so I ordered the veggie fries. OMG they were so good! They had cheese, lettuce, onions, a spicy sauce, tomato & a side of tzatziki sauce.
I can’t wait to be able to eat at this truck again!

My Goodness! Where do I begin… Warning this will be an overly positive review.
I was in the neighborhood and thought I would try this food truck with the gnarly paraphernalia decorated on the outside.
I was greeted by Ray, the owner, in the most appropriate fashion. He was full of energy and enthusiasm towards your patronage. That’s a prime example of customer service. Further I asked him what the most popular burgers were, and he responded The Greek Burger.
The combo of lamb, feta, and z sauce was incredible. Forget about chewing this burger fully. I inhaled mine in no time.
The fries complimented the meal perfectly. They were golden brown and seasoned to perfection. They were so crispy!
It’s been a while since I’ve had such an amazing lunch. Congratulations Foreign Policy, you have a new fan!

My second food truck was not a bust. After a mix up in the location, remedied by a quick phone call to the number listed, I got my Foreign Policy education.
They have a Mexican Policy. A Greek Policy. A Korean Policy. An American Policy. A Vegetarian Policy. A Desert Policy. Mainly Burgers, Pitas, and fries, with plenty of add ones; plus if you check in on Unilocal you get a free side of fries which saves you some $, one time.
I got the Korean Burger, which is a huge all beef patty, with Kimchee (no shellfish), cheese, No onions for me, and I am pretty sure some other toppings I can’t remember. Did I mention this burger was huge, I really needed a partner on this one. The meat was seasoned so well I wanted to eat the entire burger, but just couldn’t. The flavors of beef, spicy kimchee, cheese, sauce, and buttery bun was burger heaven.
I wanted the Mexican fries, but they couldn’t hold the onions, a pre-​made mixture issue. So I opted for the Bacon, Queso Fries. So here were had real honest to god bacon, and lots of it. 3 kinds of Queso, White, Yellow and that lovely liquid queso, over the top of crispy seasoned fries. Crispy fries, I ate every last bite of this artery clogging creation. Most people say it’s a crime to waste good alcohol, I say it’s a crime to waste a perfect fry.
It is sad you can not eat the food right then, because it is probably the only reason I didn’t give it 5 stars, I to travel a ways before I could take my first bite, it had cooled down significantly. It was still awesome.
Who cares that the burger is $ 10, it is worth every dime.
I am going back to try the doughnut burger at some point in the future.

Why did I spent almost $ 40 on 3 burgers??? Because it is THAT good. Reunited and it feels so good! I’ve been waiting to try them again. I am soooo glad my coworker spot the food truck today. I left work and drove in traffic and rain to meet them. My family ordered 2 donut bacon cheeseburgers and the Texas Policy burger. My kids (ages 2 & 6) split a burger, and yes, I was praying they didn’t eat it all lol.
The mister could not handle the Texas policy burger – Such a lightweight. He always says nothing is hot enough for him, yet this burger had him chugging down all of the milk! I got a good kick out of watching him try to show off while struggling.
Just as last time, the service is amazing! The guys are extremely friendly and make sure you’re happy as well. Simply A++ Please come to the Galleria area more.

Lucky me. I went outside today at work, there was the Foreign Policy truck standing at our monthly Food Truck event. The truck was not fancy, but the food was extremely attractive.
My coworkers frowned about my Donut Burger. I heard people said, «what? Get away from me.» And, «no, don’t share it with me… I’m just looking.» Then, click click click of camera shutter sounds. If you can’t endure my full attention on my donut burger, stay away from me.
First time I learned of donut burger was Stonehouse Grill food truck in Austin. I have been wanting to explore my taste bud. Oh man, I was eating my burger as I drafted this review. Mmm… it’s the sensation that kills me. I can’t say when I’ll get a chance to catch Foreign Policy. Their locations are far away from me. But if you see them near you, go for it.
Because they didn’t change location on Unilocal,I got the free check-​in offer. Oh my, the fries was killer, too. Okay, okay, I’ll get out of my way to search for them. I’ll even take a vacation if I have to find them on one of the Tuesdays.

Why do food trucks always have the Best food? Omg! The donut burger is absolute heaven! Who would have thought of using donuts as buns? I almost feel… guilty while eating it. Yes, it’s THAT good. The burgers are huge! I’m not as adventurous when it comes to fries so I settled for plain olé regular battered fries. They were a little greasy for my taste though.
Service is amazing! I waiting in line for 30 minutes then I had to leave for a meeting. When my meeting was over, I returned with almost no wait. There were about 7 people behind me, but even so, the guy who took my order was so nice and patient. He took the time to tell me what was on each burger I asked about as well as answer a few other questions. I thought that was nice. He didn’t try to rush me to get through the line.
I think the prices are a bit high, but they are totally worth it. Make sure you check in on Unilocal to get a free side of fries. I unfortunately didn’t check in until after I ordered so I missed out :(

We wanted to try this food truck after reading the great reviews. After not finding it downtown, we called and found out they were over by the Museum of Fine Arts for the day. The person who answered the phone was kind enough to text the address of exactly where they were.
The food: Amazing!!! We ordered the Korean fries and donut burger to share — both were excellent! We also tried the bunuelos that the guys threw in with our order — this was the first time I’ve tried these and they were delicious. Thank you for having us try them!
The employees: Could not have been nicer! (Wish I had gotten their names — sorry). Answered all of our questions and were very efficient in preparing the food.
Loved this entire experience and would highly recommend trying them out!

Omg Korean fries is delicious :)!!! Fries are crispy and matches so well with Korean beef !! $ 8 for fries seems expensive but it is lot of fries and beef and it’s worth it :)

Burgers. Burgers everywhere. From various nations, it’s like having Korean, Mexican, Italian, and Greek restaurants all in one place. I’ve been fortunate to have Foreign Policy grace Rice campus with its presence every week. Here’s the breakdown:
Pros:
1. Extremely friendly staff. The person taking orders always looks happy and doesn’t hesitate to start conversation with you.
2. Various burgers inspired from different nations. My personal favorite is the korean burger! The burger itself is fairly large, and the bun is very buttery. The beef was heavily seasoned with spices and I think the kimchi sauce really tied everything together. DELICIOUS!
Cons:
1. Price and time. Sadly, like the vast majority of food trucks, the prices are pretty steep, and service can be very slow.
2. Very greasy. Pretty self explanatory, but you’re probably eating burger and fries so it’s what I expected.
3. This might be just my own personal problem, but I love Italian food. Sadly, they only offer the Italian burger on weekends, so I haven’t had a chance to try it.
Foreign Policy isn’t exactly life changing, but they make very interesting and delicious burgers. Definitely worth trying at least once.
Protip: check in for a free side of fries with your burger.

Second time coming here and the wait was extraordinarily short. Got my food almost instantly. Great food truck, I make sure to come here every time they’re at my apartment complex.

I had the donut burger which was very good, but the Korean fries that I shared with a friend were absolutely the best. Confession: craving Korean fries now!

Ordered a donut bacon cheese burger. Changed my life. Order it! Also ordered Mexican fries had fajita on them with green chile. Those were bomb af too. Def will be returning!

Simple menu, but always delicious. Best French fries in Houston, and a damn good burger. Perfect pub food, and the owner is the friendliest!
I’m a big fan of the Mexican burger and the Mexican fries, but everything is good there!

Love this truck. I am too lazy to look up what I got there but it had the word «Texas» in it and was appropriately massive. It was delicious too though. We caught this truck outside of Kung fu tea off of westheimer — a perfect place for it. No better combo than a heart stopping foreign policy burger (i mean that literally — you might want to exercise for a week after one of them), along with the finest boba in town. Make sure to look up their timing though as the truck is only there certain days of the week. The dude who runs the show is friendly too and deserves some serious business, even if he did not make incredible burgers (which he does).

This was my first experience with a food truck and I have to say I was very impressed. I ate at here last night at the food truck round up and the atmosphere was pretty cool. I liked the variety and the quirkiness of the dishes (there was a donut burger option — how awesome!) and I ended up having the American Burger for eight bucks. It was savory and delicious and HUGE and I ate the whole thing. Totally worth the money; I’m glad I took a chance and stopped here instead of heading to a chain restaurant.

Great customer service! But the Greek meat tasted like ground up no seasoned sausage. I might try it again but wouldn’t search out the truck.

Solid burger for the $ 9 price tag. Both the Greek and Korean BBQ flavours were spot on. Particularly the Korean! Got a free side of fries with my first checkin, and I LOVED them! Just perfect. That meat texture, marinade, those layers, fresh flavours, and that crispy edged yet soft, gorgeous bun. Mmm.

Sooooo delicious!!! I had the doughnut burger. It was the perfect mixture of sweet and salty. Creamy and crispy! The owner Ray is super nice! Good service!

Wow this truck is amazing. I had the donut burger meat is nice and juicy donut is soft and sweet. It’s just the perfect combination. The customer service is phenomenal real happy and friendly people that want you to enjoy the experience of their deliciousness.

I have now achieved a unique culinary experience known as the donut burger. Better yet, the day before July 4^th to show my patriotism and love for all things American. The concept is pretty self-​explanatory: replace burger buns with grilled donut buns and you have yourself fa donut burger. This one came with cheese, bacon, and onions.
At first the combo of sweetness and saltiness freaked me out but then I started feeling it. Only bad part was the hot donut started getting stuck on the inside of my mouth. Like a ramen burger, grilled cheese burger, etc. a donut burger is one of those things you just have to try in your life. Even if your stomach hurts afterwards.
They also have Korean burgers, Italian burgers, Mexican burgers, Greek burgers, and fries with the same themes if you’re not as adventurous!

Best of the best in H-​town!!! Foreign Policy never fails to satisfy my cravings. My favorite is the Korean fries, it is flavorful and has a generous amount of meat in it. This truck offers a variety of options from burgers, tacos, and fries inspired by foreign flavors that will definite hit the spot! Also, try the all-​American burger, it’s a big juicy double patty burger, portions are always generous for sharing!!! Or for the hungry! Try it and I guarantee, it’ll never disappoint ;)

Ok, they’ve got some really good stuff goin on on this truck. They were parked at our office building a couple days & I was finally able to give them a try.
I think the menu set up is pretty creative. Read some complaints about the menu set up, but to me it’s pretty simple. Pick a style, then pick fries, burger or taco. Not that hard.
Loved the Greek fries, Mexican taco & the Korean burger the most. None in my direct crew were bold enough to go for the Donut Cheeseburger, but another co-​worked tried it & said it was pretty good.
The crew running the truck were really nice & answered all questions w/​o no issue. Prices fair & portions matched up. Look forward to trying them again.

Foreign Policy Truck embodies everything that is good about America, showcasing a mish mosh of international ingredients, plopping them on or stuffing them into vehicles they ought not be in, and making sure that these concoctions are overloaded, greasy, and delicious. Oh… And… Donut. Bacon. Cheeseburger. What’s more American than that? Apple pie? I think not.
The truck parked itself outside of my job. If hours upon hours of stressing over e-​mail etiquette is not enough excuse to allow me one (1) hour of gluttony, then what the hell is? The man taking orders was very helpful, quick, and kind. Obviously, I had to go for the Donut Burger ($ 9). Just to further push the limits of my body, I added half an order of Korean Fries to my waistline ($ 4). My coworker ordered the Greek Fries.
I carried my burger upstairs and got stares as if I was carrying Tara Reid. Many looks of disgust and a lot of jealous eyes. People acting like they’d never try it, but secretly, you know you’d do her in a time of desperation, and love it.
The Donut Burger was so much more than just cliché, used-​up kitsch. The slightly seared donut hugged the tasty burger patty just right. Flavor dripped down my fingers faster than I could eat it. The bacon seemed a little stale, lacking the crunch that the burger desperately needed. Despite that, I would order this again in a heart beat… or a heart tremor, seeing as that I probably need to see a doctor now.
The Korean Fries were as good as any other truck’s Korean fries. I would not order again, just because I’d rather have my bulgogi with rice… because I’m Asian like that. The Greek fries, on the other hand, had me screaming «Opa!», breaking dishes, and spraying Windex in the air. Bathing in tzatziki sauce, bits of feta fondling every square inch of the fries, and an unforgiving heap of gyro meat sitting right on top. Sadly, the Greek Fries were not mine to have, but I did sneak off a few, and eventually convinced my coworker to let me lick the checkered paper clean.
For the simps who are complaining about the long menu… let me break it down for you.
Pick your flavor: Greek, Korean, or Mexican.
Pick your carb: Burger buns, homemade tortillas, or fries.
If you’re boring, go for the All-​American.
Vegetarian? Go for the Veggie Fries.
If you’re shameless ‘murican like myself? Get the Donut Burger.
Ordering couldn’t be easier. And if you’re still not sure, then just ask the wonderful men at Foreign Policy to help you decide. No matter what ethnicity you feel like being for the day, Foreign Policy will hook you up. Now… as for hooking you up to a breathing machine after, that’ll probably just be your problem.

After a few too many beers at St. Arnold’s …we ended up at the food truck park… found this gem parked up front. decided couldn’t go wrong with the Korean Tacos. delicious spicy goodness. didn’t get to try much more bc we needed to get home but they were delicious. their loaded fries sounded sinfully good as well as their donut burger, no wonder everything is bigger in tejas!

I was at the Museum of Natural Science for the Mixers and Elixirs event when I got hungry and decided to check out the food trucks that were camped outside the museum. When I was checking out the Foreign Policy truck, my eyes gazed upon the little blackboard easel that said, «DONUT BACON CHEESEBURGER». What?!! Bacon Cheeseburger on donut buns? I had to ask for myself and yes, it was confirmed. They used Glazed donut buns that are slightly grilled to in place of regular burger buns. For $ 9, hell yeah! GIVE ME ONE! With a side of seasoned fries for an extra $ 3.
The line was kind of long when so my order took a little while. I think it took almost 20 minutes before I finally received my order. But when my tongue first met mr. donut glaze combined with the crispy bacon and the gooeyness of the cheese and mr beef who had pleaded for me to eat more chikinz, I was like, «why didn’t I think of this?!’ You combine a high-​calorie fried dough sweetness with high-​calorie bacon and high-​calorie cheese with high-​calorie beef and you get high-​calorie awesomeness. Let’s not forget that the fries were super good. Great seasoning on crisp, crunchy fries. Yep, I was loving it.
Prices were reasonable for a food truck because we all know that food trucks are more on the expensive side. But I didn’t mind shelling out the $ 12 for my burger combo. Will be back!
But Belly, why only four stars? Why not a full five? Well, as good as the burger was, if it hadn’t been aided by the Donut, I think the burger would only be a little above average. And I still think Stanton’s and/​or Bernie’s are still superior to this. Now, stop your whining and just eat your bur-​nut. Yes, I totally just made that up. And no, it’s not cheesy. Pun intended!
