This guy is a very expensive joke. Hat, suit and tie, suspenders; lots of talking, talking, talking about stuff unrelated to the inspection. Full of BS, did not access our first story FLAT roof, did not go into any crawl spaces; spaces that were clearly accessible under the guidelines of Texas inspections. A suit and tie, does not make you a professional and ESPECIALLY when you are a home inspector; run away from this one Please!!!

Victor and Foresight Engineering provided an excellent service to me and my wife in the inspection of our new home. He was available on very short notice; provided a very thorough and knowledgeable inspection report; and allowed us to negotiate the final price down of our home by a considerable amount. Our investment in Foresight’s inspection paid out 700%.
A lot of other inspectors would have likely rushed through the inspection and given the house the ok without a thorough review that gives the advantage to the buyer (both for price negotiation and information on their new purchase). Foresight’s inspection took around 5 hours, but it was totally worth it. A very different experience from our last home inspector.
Foresight’s reports are super thorough and invaluable, not only for negotiation, but to know what it is you have to do to bring your home to standard. He saw things that we would never have thought of. In the end, what we did was attach a dollar amount to every improvement that Victor suggested and used that dollar amount to negotiate the price of our home down by a considerable amount.
We will continue to use Foresight to consult with for any repairs on our new home and for any future inspections that we may require. Foresight’s experience in custom home building and engineering bring an invaluable perspective to home inspection that allows the buyer to have the foresight necessary for a successful home purchase and proper maintenance of a home, usually a family’s most valuable asset.

First, let me confirm that if I could give zero stars I would!
Anything that has Jitendra (Victor) Varma’s name on it, STAY AWAY, especially when it comes to realty!!! I recently rented an apartment from him. Upon move in, the dishwasher, oven, and garbage disposal did not work. Who rents out a property with no working appliances? It only took two months to convince him that I needed a new oven! Half way through the lease he added an addendum that increased my rent (because I got married) and I was never told this would be the case before I signed the lease (I told him this would happen before I signed the lease and he told me it would be no problem). Also upon move out, he charged me $ 500 for damages to the apartment that were there before I moved in. In trying to sort this out he told me he couldn’t do anything about it. It was my fault for not reporting these things to him.
This guy does not care about anyone. He is super smart. He knows how to take your money and use the system to his advantage so that you cannot get it back.
I wish I would have known about this guy before I decided to rent from him. Best advice I can give is to not do business with this guy.

BUYER BEWARE! DO NOT USE THESE GUYS! They promise the world and do not come through on anything.
— The report I received was laughable and something I could have received for free by calling any of the foundation companies in town for a bid.
— Jitendra (Victor) Varma, promised to go out again after the foundation work was completed to give me an approval of the work completed.
— Three weeks later after many calls and emails he decided to tell me he was no longer interested in doing business with me because I only paid him half of the inspection fee upfront, like we agreed.
I have been rehabbing houses for years and have never run across such unprofessionalism poor customer service. DO NOT USE THESE GUYS!

Do not use this company, they do not stand by their work. I had Foresight Engineering come inspect the house I’m about to buy, and the report said that the roof was fine. We even asked the inspector if he thought we were going to have an issue insuring the roof since it was 17 years old and he said «absolutely not, you won’t have a problem». Well, we can’t insure it because it’s too old, and when I called him to ask for my money back because his bad report is costing us the house and earnest money, he told me it wasn’t his fault, he wasn’t an insurance agent, and eventually told me he didn’t have time to deal with me and hung up on me. He also lied to me and told me the roof was a 30 year roof, which I later checked with the builder and they said there is no such thing as a 30 year roof of that type.
