Fuqua Family Practice and Urgent Care

My husband and I have been going to Dr. Drab for two years and are very pleased with the care we receive from him and the staff. He always takes plenty of time to discuss any issues and follows up promptly when test results arrive. I am so glad we found this clinic because our previous doctor moved and it is hard to find a new doctor that is trustworthy and cares. The clinic is new and very clean and I have always been seen within a few minutes after check in. I also like that they are open until 7 during the week because I like to go after 4 and my husband likes to go on Saturday since they are open until 1. We are glad he opened his practice near by. We have a great doctor with a wonderful bedside manner that is in the area. This works well for our lives and schedules.

Had a great experience with Dr. Drab on a Saturday morning. He quickly and accurately diagnosed a painful injury to my ankle and set me up with a course of care that had me back on my feet in no time. The staff was courteous, helpful, and kind. Highly recommended!

First, the waiting room is tacky and gross, the staff was pretty rude and the dr. seems clueless! I had to pay for my visit up front without being seen, so when the dr. was unsure about a diagnosis, he said he didn’t want me to leave empty handed– rather than refer me to a specialist, he scrambled to diagnose me. I got a 2^nd opinion and this dr. Proved highly inexperienced! After my visit, there was zero bedside manner. No appt reminder, no follow-​up. They were rude when I called to be reminded. Oh, the clinic itself seemed pretty out-​of-​date (their appt book was a sally beauty supply book and it was pretty vacant in terms of appointments, so looks like they might not be very established.) Also, this clinic does not even have an in-​house lab and the dr’s wife floats around the office just waltzing into consultations! Don’t waste your time with your health for convenient hours. These people can do nothing for you.

This practice is unethical and rude to their patients. They do not provide itemized receipts nor will they help you navigate the insurance red tape nightmare. The office manager, Rosie was rude to me and to both patients waiting in the waiting room. If you don’t want to be nice and helpful, then find a different career! Avoid this clinic like the plague!
