G2MT Labs includes a full complement of metallurgical evaluation tools, including sample preparation, mounting, grinding and polishing, etching, and microscopy. G2MT Labs also offers unique capabilities including hydrogen charging, permeation, and diffusion testing, and advanced corrosion testing for multiple modes of corrosion. History

Established in 2009.

G2MT was founded in 2009 to develop the next-​generation of materials technologies. We are developing new nondestructive testing tools that allow proactive testing of metals to find problems before cracking or failures occur. Our eStress sensor for pipeline stress analysis is in preliminary field testing and will soon be out to the market, with other sensors following shortly behind.

As we started making new metallurgical technology, we developed a metallurgical laboratory to support G2MT’s R&D business, and were doing consulting on the side. When we moved from Tomball, TX to Houston in 2011, the metallurgical consulting, corrosion testing, and failure analysis business boomed and we have been expanding rapidly ever since. G2MT Labs is now one of the fastest-​growing metallurgical labs in the Houston area, and we are continuing to grow. At G2MT Labs, our mission is to be the best at metallurgical analysis, consulting, and testing. We focus on providing rapid high-​quality service to the Houston area and beyond. Joshua Jackson is the Co-​Founder and CEO of G2MT and G2MT Labs. His areas of expertise include corrosion, high-​temperature materials, electromagnetics, and statistics. Dr. Jackson received his PhD and MS degrees in Metallurgical and Materials Engineering from the Colorado School of Mines and BS degrees in both math and physics from MIT.
