Gables 6464 San Felipe

We have lived here about 14 months and are extremely satisfied with our apartment home. The floor plan is spacious. wide laminate wood planks in living area, large tile squares in kitchen and bathrooms, and carpet in bedrooms. Spacious closets, washer and dryer in closed laundry area, side-​by-​side refrigerator freezer with ice maker (my personal favorite).Tons of cabinet space in kitchen and bathrooms. Faux granite countertop in bathrooms and kitchen. Tile backsplash in kitchen adds a nice touch. For those who live on upper floors, there are elevators close by. The parking garage provides some security and keeps your car dry on rainy days. The office staff and maintenance staff are exceptional, professional, and quick to reply to your concerns. Gables 6464 San Felipe has earned FIVE STARS!!!

Sound insulation in this building is poor. Walls are thin and you will definitely be able to hear your neighbors upstairs as they move around the apartment. This may not be a big deal if only one person lives above you, but if multiple people are walking around it gets highly irritating. Otherwise, it’s a quiet complex. If you can secure a top floor, do it. This and the 25% increase (!!!) in rent come renewal time are the reasons I’m moving after one year.
Besides that, every single maintenance request was fulfilled within 24 hours. The maintenance staff here are really great. The staff in the leasing office were always helpful and great with packages. Parking is first come first serve, but there’s plenty of spots. The property is well-​maintained for the most part. The TVs in the workout room were nonfunctioning 75% of the time I was here but the property was always clean. The pool area is nice and the location is great as you are within walking distance to Starbucks, Kroger, the new Whole Foods, CVS and Muscle Maker Grill. Keep in mind that because you are not close to any freeway getting to most parts of town require sitting through lights at San Felipe, Woodway, and Voss. Rent can easily be paid online and there are plenty of convenient guest parking spots on the 5^th floor.
