Wow! This is a really great place for buying the excellent furniture. There we bought two chairs and the big unique table. It has been already two months ago, but all our friends still admired it and now.
There are also good service and all salesmen was polite and could help us in our choice. I definitely sure to come back here for a new sofa, because I made the decision to change all old furniture in my home.
I highly recommend!

What a great place, bought a couch there a little over a month ago and we love it. The customer service was outstanding, not too pushy and creepy like most salesman. We had picked out our couch around 730pm had it purchased by 8pm and then it was delivered before 10pm which was 30 minutes away. They also took away our old couch. I would definitely go back again.

A pleasant shopping experience all the way around! I went there Monday to look for a sectional couch, and was greeted by Stuart (I think that’s his name). He was very patient and showing me around the showroom floor, and wasn’t pushy for a sale. He answered all of my questions, and even helped me measure the dimensions of the couch. After shopping around, I went back yesterday (Tuesday) and made my purchase… And today I have my couch! Will refer to others, and will shop again :-)

Based on my experience with Gallery Furniture, I would say that not all locations are the same. Yes, their prices may be identical, but the service is far from equal!
I went to this location today because of the high reviews on Unilocal.I was greeted by Ralph, who explained he was somewhat new. He had someone else (Mike) come answer questions on some of the nicer sets. However, I felt he cared about discovering my needs and then trying to meet them. I spent about two hours here without him making a sale. Bottom line, I needed some time to think about this furniture prior to making a decision. He did «ask for the sale» a few times, but earned the right to do so. This is much different than the experience I had at the Richmond location (see my review for that location).
I appreciate Ralph’s low pressure approach (though he did try to close me many times). He did not try to sell me something that I did not want to buy, just because it was «close». His approach is perfect. The only thing preventing five stars here is that they charge $ 200 per piece for ordering different fabric for their sofas… they have so many choices available and I probably would have purchased if I could have one of the other options for the same price. Still, I will probably be back, even though I had a negative experience at the Richmond store.

Great experience buying a mattress and bedroom set. Bought my items at 50% off and ended up saving way more than I had anticipated. The service was excellent and everything was delivered promptly. Highly recommended !

We visited the new location on Grand Parkway today. Beautiful building and layout. Awesome job. Lots to choose from and nice set up of all the rooms, gives you a good sense of the furniture lay out. I was a little disappointed with the lack of traditional dining room sets and cabinets. Will revisit when we are ready to buy after the completion of our new home. Hopefully they have more selections for us. However they had some beautiful furniture for the other rooms that we are looking at.

We bought a sofa sectional and decided it wasn’t quite right us so we went back in and the exchange process was a breeze… We now have a 3 piece set that was delivered yesterday and is a much better fit for our living room. We were very pleased with the entire process and the QUALITY of the furniture is very impressive but the icing on top was that we just received and Edible Arrangement from Gallery Furniture as a thank you for our business! My husband even commented «this is how you make a lifelong customer!» So when we are ready to buy more furniture we will definitely be back to see Mattress Mack!!! Thank you Gallery Furniture for an honestly positive experience! :)

From an excellent front end contact with Ralph and John (Manager) through to the speedy delivery and courteous set-​up by the delivery team, my expectations were surpassed all along the way. The pieces I bought are simply stunning, thank you Gallery.

I want to share great experience with furniture shopping! I have always loved a great selection at Gallery Furniture. We just got a new house and decided to get all new furniture as well. We stopped by after dinner to look and found living room set. It was around 8.50 pm. We got home and furniture was delivered by 9.40 pm. Guys was fast, very careful and did a great job on putting all pieces together. BRAVO!!! Will buy there again!!! Management is also very nice and super excited for new stores to come!

Executive Summary: I have to say I am super impressed with Gallery and have totally changed my perceptions of them.
I have needed a new living room set for some time now and I’ve resisted replacing my set of wine crates that I was using as seats because a) I wasn’t getting splinters in my butt any more and b) I HATE the experience of trying to look at furniture in a store with a salesperson stalking me constantly. So I was incredibly pleasantly surprised when we went into Gallery and were able to actually think about what we wanted without being bugged every 42 seconds. We found a beautiful set that was comfortable and we thought fairly priced. Stuart was not pressuring and helped us along with expediting the process.
The furniture was delivered the next day by a uniformed crew of two who set everything up the way we wanted and moved the wine crates err, old disgusting sofas, into the garage for us. All in all a surprisingly pleasant experience and one which totally makes me think of Mack’s business much more favorably. I’ll definitely be using them again.

Look, these guys might not be the best-​priced furniture store around, but they certainly aren’t the highest and have a plethora of well-​made furniture to boot.
Walked in today for my third major purchase and walked out with the promise they’d deliver within just a few hours. They showed up 2 hours later, well within the delivery window, and expertly set up/​assembled everything in my apartment bedroom (entire solid-​wood bedroom set) in less than 45 minutes. Two guy, extremely professional and polite team.
Can’t find fault and wish them continued success!

Arrived at GF Sunday noon and just got my living room set at 4pm. Wow. I’m impressed with the prices, service and delivery.
The topper is the delivery team of Tino and ER who carried a sectional sofa set up a tight three story stairs without complaining once. They are super stars In my book. Meer mortals would have given up. After an hour plus of lifting, my new beautiful sectional is ready for my wife returning next week. Thank you GF for make me a hero. Tom Lindholm

Excellent service and exceptional delivery. We bought our bed at 6pm and it was delivered and installed by 11pm. The salesperson (Kenny, who is also the store manager) was very polite and courteous. I will continue buying from this store.

Showroom:
We went to this location in search of new furniture for our bonus/​Tv room. We were greeted by Kenny as soon as we walked in and he immediately introduced himself to us. We told him what we were looking for and he walked us through the showroom showing us different options. He offered all of us a beverage or a snack. When we found the set we liked Kenny showed us how it was built underneath and the protection plans they offered. No hard sell by Kenny and answered all of the questions we had at the moment. The experience at the showroom was 5 stars from start to finish.
Delivery:
We opted for same day delivery and we were given a time window of 5pm to 9pm. As promised we received a call 30 minutes before the truck got to our house. They arrived at 6:00pm and were done by 6:20pm. When the delivery team arrived we showed them were the new furniture was going upstairs and explained to them the sofa, chair and small sectional they were hauling away. The delivery team moved fast got the old furniture out and new furniture all set up. Also guys were very professional and courteous and also get 5 stars.
We will definitely be using Gallery Furniture again when we need something it’s nice to see a company that cares about the customer from when you walk in the door until the delivery truck pulls away from your house. This is coming from someone who has 16 years in customer service/​retail world.

If you want a fun experience for the whole family, this is the perfect place to shop for furniture. When we arrived, we saw that they had been serving ice cream and cake to the customers. They gave us a free basketball and 2 free baseball caps. There were monkeys for the kids to watch. And they had very beautiful furniture at great prices to boot.
We were shopping for new recliners, and found exactly what we wanted. We were given 40% off for buying two. Then we bought a 3-​year extended warranty on the reclining mechanism in each chair.
My husband and I are very happy with our purchase. We had great customer service, and plan to come to Gallery Furniture for all of our future purchases

Do you remember when you were a little kid, and your parents dragged you out to furniture stores, when all you wanted to do on a Saturday morning was watch the Power Rangers and eat Cocoa Puffs? Would you believe me if I told you that Gallery Furniture makes furniture shopping a FUN experience for people of all ages? It would take a joyless person not to fall in love with this place.
Upon walking in, you get free ice cream (Blue Bell’s homemade vanilla is simply unparalleled), fresh baked cookies, and cake. Grab a bottle of water or coffee to wash it all down. If you’d prefer a wholesome meal, stop by their restaurant (Papa John’s pizza counts as nutritious). There are scented candles everywhere, and inspirational quotes on the walls, only one of which I take issue with– «Work is the best therapy in life.» False.
There is a mini zoo. Are you f’ing kidding me!!! How cool is that?! Talking parrots and monkeys wearing cloth diapers. I won’t be mad if you stop reading this review to go there RIGHT NOW.
If your pesky kids are getting restless, drop them off at the play pen. They won’t know the difference from Chuck-​E-​Cheese. I may be an «adult» now, but I’m still a big kid at heart. There were mattresses lined up for you to bounce around on, and I couldn’t resist. Jumping was not the best idea after eating all that sugar…
Oh, you want to know about the furniture. My friend needed help shopping for a sectional sofa. I performed a quality check. Every single couch I collapsed on was so comfortable that I nearly dozed off. I would pay rent to move in here permanently.
Mattress Mack, you are doing it right. One of your employees told me that you’re in the store every day, and you stay longer than anyone else. With that level of passion, your success is no surprise. You’ve created the ultimate shopping experience for something that can get pretty tedious. Thanks for helping me rewrite my childhood.

I spent the past 3 days shopping around at a very wide variety of Houston furniture stores. All of the quality furniture stores told me it would be anywhere from 4 – 8 weeks to get any couch to me. The outlet furniture stores had low-​quality and low-​stock and again would be a 2 – 4 week delivery.
Gallery Furniture was one of the last stores on my list because I thought their merchandise might have another extended delivery time. I went in and surprisingly our salesman Greg told us anything on the floor could be delivered TODAY. (Note: these aren’t floor samples for sale, they’re new and are sent out from their warehouse and cleaned before they get to you — all same day.) I was thrilled.
Quality of the merchandise was incredible. I got exactly what I wanted for a very fair price. Additionally Greg was a very knowledgable and thorough salesman and explained Gallery’s extensive and reasonably priced 5-​year fabric cleaning warranty. He also sent a thoughtful follow-​up email about an hour later — it’s the nice touches that count.
The cherry on top was the delivery team. Two guys arrived and were so courteous and did an incredible job. Delivery was about 6 hours after my in-​store purchase. They even helped my mom and I carry another heavy piece of furniture up the stairs (didn’t even ask them, they just stepped in!) Plus they took all of my huge moving boxes that I had neglected to throw away and recycled them for me! Seriously best delivery experience of my life. I will be a repeat customer.

This afternoon we went in to the Post Oak store with our pre-​conceived thoughts about Gallery Furniture. We were there to look at the various tempur pedic mattress sets. We had time to look and test without being bothered by an aggressive sales staff which is our normal furniture store experience.
We had narrowed down our choices, and were approached by a sales rep who then referred us to their tempur pedic specialist. Ken was knowledgeable and was able to answer our questions. We were able to make our decision and complete our purchase. Delivery was scheduled to occur between 5 and 10 pm this evening. We then wandered the store a bit looking at other furniture. Again no pushy sales staff, just very helpful people.
At 6:00 pm we got our heads up phone call. The delivery team was 30 minutes out and arrived on time. Henry and David were very courteous and took great care moving the furniture through the house. They moved our old bed into the guest room while we addressed the previously unreachable dog detritus located under the middle of the old bed.
The new bed frame was assembled, and the new bed installed, and they were out the door within 20 minutes.
This experience has made us a fan. Thank you Mack for having such a well trained and courteous staff.
