Microscrews afford the modern orthodontist the ability to modify growth as never before and improve functionality and cosmetic results. The microscrews are placed in our office, which saves patients their valuable resources of expense and time.Dr. Schudy is a teacher of clinical orthodontics at The University of Texas Dental Branch. He has lectured in the US, Brazil, Germany, and Austria at dental schools and study meetings, and has published research articles in well-​respected orthodontic journals. In addition, Dr. Schudy has received numerous awards for excellence in clinical treatment based on peer review of case presentations.

History

Established in 1976.

Always interested in his father’s orthodontic business, Dr. Schudy attended Denison University for his Bachelor of Science Dental degree and followed up with a Bachelor of Science Dental Surgery degree from Baylor University and his Masters of Science degree in Orthodontics from the University of Missouri. Returning to his hometown of Houston, Dr Schudy established his business in west Houston in 1976. For the last 25+ years, Dr. Schudy’s dedication to his patients and his trade has resulted in countless successful cases regardless of the level of complication. Furthermore, Dr. Schudy has contributed his innovative techniques to the industry as well as incorporated the latest technology to make each smile bright and healthy. Beyond the treatment, Dr. Schudy and his staff genuinely enjoy getting to know each patient and encouraging them in their ventures. The smiles that begin in Dr. Schudy’s office are shared for life.
