The food is amazing, the service was great, and the atmosphere was fun and inviting. The portions of the food are extremely good and I kid you not 2 people can share the chicken fried chicken. My babe got a shake and he said it was delicious. The buffalo wings were just right… i am very particular about wings these were in my top 3.

I ordered a 409er, it was awesome, the tomatoes, grilled onions, and the bacon flavors were really good!!!

Boyfriend and I are consecrating(fasting) for church, so we were hunting for a good veggie/non-meat burger option. Graffiti’s has one! And it was rather delicious. It’s called the Beetle — mushroom, spinach, black beans, garlic, avocado, roasted tomatoes. We ordered it without buns and without aioli. For me, I was satisfied with the one party and fries; boyfriend ordered a second patty(an extra $ 4.95). Overall, I like this place. Good ambience, TVs showing the day’s game(s), quick & friendly service.(The ambience/décor is what stands out the most. It’s very uniquely decorated — old-school diner feel with other touches like old maps of Houston, paintings of Betty Boop, vintage soda ads, etc. Thanks for a consistently good meal, Graffiti’s!

Feeling hungry? Get the chicken fried steak. It’ll feed you for a week. Possibly an exaggeration, but it’s huge! Comes with a side of mashed potatoes. They’ve also got awesome burgers(lots of different options) and milkshakes are great for dessert.

Came here based on strong reviews of their burgers… did not meet expectations in terms of service, quality of food, and value. Here are the areas they fell short on: 1) service — we showed up on a slow saturday afternoon. Easily 5 wait staff. One large table and a couple of small ones. No excuse not to refill the iced tea, check in on how the food is or just be attentive. Missed on all three fronts. He was definitely more interested in the game on tv than us. 2) food quality — wife and i ordered burgers. Mine was ok but my wife’s was pretty greasy. I make better burgers at home and when you are paying $ 14 for a burger, it is fair to expect higher quality. The fries were good and the house salad was quality ingredients but the main entrees(the burgers) were very underwhelming. Add those two items up and you can see why the value fell pretty short. Not sure if we will try it again. If we do, it’ll be something other than the burgers.

What can I say?! Delicious food and amazing service(shout out to Eric and Jeremy) they were attentive and Eric even made suggestions on what to order. If you go, order the mac & cheese appetizer with brisket on top! Best ever! Enjoy! Can’t wait to go back! Thank you Graffiti for your unique eatery and A++ service!

The good: tasty burgers, fun menu, casual atmosphere that’s perfect for the family. The Beetle burger(veggie) my wife ordered was fantastic! The not as good: slow service the night we visited. Not many people there, not sure if this was normal or not. Also, a bit pricey for a basic burger.

This is a great casual, family-friendly, sports bar & grill place with a nice atmosphere, good throwback 60s &70s music, thoughtful décor & artwork and really great food. I’ve been here about 4 times. As a vegan living with a carnivore, it’s good to find places we both like. Their salads are super! Really big, fresh and with a variety of ingredients – not just your standard lettuce/carrot/tomato business. And they have flat out THEBEST veggie burger in town, called The Beetle. TRYIT. My sweetie has tried the burgers and the pulled pork sandwich and gobbled them up. We even splurged and got dessert – mud pie – which was really a(probably not vegan) super moist dark chocolate cake with a side of warm chocolate syrup-y stuff, out of this world. Good selection of beer and drinks. Nice front enclosed«patio,» and several large screen TVs with sports on, but not in your face. The service has always been really good.

Three stars for ambience and service. Food and dessert were ok. We had onion rings, burgers and pudding. Pudding needed more banana. It’s got potential. Parking is super tight and for goodness sake don’t park across in that island lot. We saw a car get towed. :/not fortunate at all for the owner. It’s best to park in the street and pay if you must rather than guess the safety of your vehicle.

Comfort food paradise! I love this place because it’s a modern twist on the old fashioned in every way. The space is beautiful and meticulously decorated. They took the 1950’s diner vibe, mixed it with a grungy-hip sixth ward aesthetic and basically created a restaurant I could not stop looking at. Our server Jeremy was a very nice guy who helped us with the tricky parking situation and also made some excellent food recommendations. He was very attentive despite being busy with a 15 top next to us. I ordered the chicken fried chicken with baked mac and cheese, Texas toast, mashed potatoes and brown and white gravy(thanks for the pro-tip Jeremy). This dish was completely cohesive with the restaurant: a classic old fashioned dish done impeccably well. The gravy was awesome enough to drink. Everything was perfect. Can’t wait to come back and try the rest of their extensive menu and their cocktail list!

Pretty decent burgers. Meat had good flavor and I enjoyed their homemade buns. My husband had the hot dog and friend had chicken fried chicken. The portions are huge and good for sharing. Would definitely return.

After seeing this newish restaurant on Unilocal a few months ago, I finally made it here on a rainy Saturday. Most people that know me know that I’ve eaten some awesome and very famous burgers all over the US. So, I’m always looking for my next great burger. My experience here was a 3.5÷5. Some comments from past reviewers about Grafitti were the high prices and lack of counter service. So I was fully aware of these before I came during lunch. I wanted to give it a try anyway and see for myself how great this place was. Pros: –Smoke in the dining room air smells good –imperial burger is more outrageous than gourmet and tastes good initially, then just tastes like a Burger King rodeo burger on steroids for the last few bites. –fries were my favorite item –nice atmosphere, I love converted old buildings Cons: — For the imperial burger, I never tasted the fried egg or the poblano peppers, you taste the mac n cheese initially but then the flavor goes away once you start tasting the bbq and onion strings. — small parking lot and if its full, street parking is metered, which is ridiculous for rainy days, at off hours. –inside dining room fills with smoke from kitchen, your clothes will absorb it –prices are kinda high, be prepared –no counter service(at least not the day I came), which translates to: waiting for server to order, waiting to get drinks refilled, waiting for server to decide to bring the check, and paying 10−15% more for no reason, which sucks since prices are high to begin with. On my particular visit, they overcooked my burger after asking for medium rare, it came out between medium well to well done. The other thing that annoyed me was that I had to wait a long time to get my drink refilled, even though the place wasn’t busy, and I was only 10 feet from the soda station. Would have gotten it myself, but there was a family of 10 and a metal railing blocking me from accessing it. If I ever come back, I will just order the regular burger for $ 11.

its got alot of painted history on the walls… murals, signs, etc… then a cute little bar in the back. outside seating. very friendly staff – our waiter was eric b — he was awesome… friendly…attentive…good dude! had the«cadillac» burger… bourbon bbq sauce, bacon jam, grilled onions, cheddar… which i was hoping would be to die for… but, was just ok… not the best ive ever had… with all that was on it… it just didnt hit the spot. i dont know… i think the meat was overcooked… and, talk about messy… literally, everything slipped off… each and every time i tried to pick it up… i eventually gave up and just ate the beef w/trimmings with my fingers! [which, ive done before with better messy beef goodness] drank a yummy vanilla shake — which is good w/the french fries i had. [even tho as listed their suppose to be seasoned fries… needed s & p] friend had a blackened chicken sandwich – avocado, bacon jam, etc… she loved it. onion rings… which, i had one… meh, no taste either, but, she liked those too. appreciated eric… but, i wont be going a second time

The value alone makes this restaurant a must visit. The décor and ambiance is cool and hastle free! You go up to a counter, order your food, grab a number and the servers bring out the delicious food! If you are looking for typical Southern comfort food, then this is the place to go! Must try if you are in the Houston area. I ordered the chicken fried steak(I have never seen an order this big before) my friends had the empire burger, which basically had everything including the kitchen sink! Amazing value and amazing food!

Maybe it was the summer, maybe it was the lights, maybe was the night; but the kitchen was soooooooo slow. It was not that busy; 3 other tables. We had to go to the kitchen and ask how much longer did we need to wait for our food. It took almost an hour to get our food. The food was good, our server tried his best, but the kitchen staff needs to be replaced or retrained. If you go on a Sunday evening, bring your own snacks for the wait.

I honestly don’t know what’s so good about this place. Maybe everyone likes the gigantic portions that can easy feed 2. Ordered the chicken fried steak which I believe was battered is salt(just terrible). The mashed potatoes however were pretty darn good. On the other hand they offered very little vegetable as sides(I thought this was supposed to be southern comfort food) .will probably give this place another shot Edited 12/15/2015 Went back to give this place another chance and they did not dissapoint.

Love, love, love this place. This little gem is tucked away off the Washington Strip. I went to check it out based in other chatter I saw on Unilocal.I’m glad I went. My wife and I ordered separate things. She got a salad and I got a chicken fried steak. I wish would have looked at all the picture first as the servings were HUGE! Okay, they have large servings, but what makes this place awesome is the taste and quality. Everything was amazing and cooked to perfection. I don’t even like salads and I liked my wife’s salad. I can’t wait to go back!!!

This place made me gain 3 lbs in one sitting but that is fine by me. There is lots of food here so I would definitely recommend sharing everything. I love me a great burger so knew I had to give this place a shot. I must say I was really impressed because the waiter was very pleasant and greeted us immediately after entering. He was attentive at all times and really knew the menu well! He recommended that we try the macaroni and brisket. Having already seen the gooey masterpiece on Unilocal,he convinced me. I’m not a fan of brisket but throw some cheesy mac in the mix and I’m all about it! Calories galore but it sure tasted yummy! I was full by the time the mac had dwindled down to crumbs. How was I supposed to even eat the 49er burger I had ordered. The burger itself had good quality thick meat, fresh veggies, all the right condiments, and some great tasting bread. Let it be known that it is all local ingredients. By those standards I had to rate this place a 4 star. You are getting a great quality burger that is delicious! However, it is not the best burger you will ever eat. This place does not even rank in my top 5. I like my burgers to be greasy and I really don’t care where the ingredients come from. I want the fatty flavors to be there and to feel guilty about eating so badly. I’ve eaten a lot of burgers and just really need to be like hot damn when I try one! Definitely come here for good food, great customer service, great location, and great venue.

Summary– overrated burger place is overrated. Food– 3 stars Onion rings were great as was the spicy ranch. Burgers were meh. The toppings were excellent but the burgers themselves were dry as heck. It really annoys me these burger places that don’t give you an option on what temperature you want your burger cooked, it’s like going to a backyard cookout and being held hostage by your friends lackluster cooking skills, only this is supposedly a professional kitchen. Both of the burgers we got were well done and dry like someone in the back had invented 100% fat free beef. Disappointed. Service– 3 stars Started off strong and was friendly, but we kinda got forgotten towards the end when they got a little busier. Atmosphere– 5 stars Very fun inside. Value– 1 star Burgers are very dry for $ 13-$ 18. Drinks– 4 stars Decent beer menu.

GOODLORD. I just ate lunch here and I am rapidly losing the fight with a massive food coma. It doesn’t get more quintessentially American than this. Huge, juicy burgers, fries, and milkshakes. F YEA, ‘MURICA!!! I had the popular 409er– cheese, lettuce, tomato, grilled onions, pickles, and bacon chunks. Obvi, the bacon was glorious, and presenting it in chunks instead of strips makes it easier to eat. The pickles were surprisingly a show stealer. The poppy seed bun was soft with just a hint of sweetness. My friend had the Imperial burger, AKA instant heart attack. At $ 18, he sure got the biggest burger I’ve ever seen. Short rib/brisket patty, fried egg, fried onion strings, bacon chunks, poblano peppers, and mac ‘n cheese. MAC N’ CHEESEINYOBURGER? It seems to be a growing trend, and I wholeheartedly approve. Sweet potato fries and onion rings were on point. I must gush over the banana pudding. It is available in a milkshake, but the employees said without hesitation that I should try it in its purest form. They wouldn’t even allow us to share a jar because it would be THAT sensational. Well, it looks like a war was avoided, because we definitely would’ve fought over the last bite. I feel absolutely AWFUL right now, in a way that can only result from senselessly stuffing my face. I can still smell residual meat grease on my fingers.
