If you want to be bum rushed by snooty boutique owners who get irritated if you try to buy what they buy wholesale, come here. 3 stars, because every visit is a hit or miss. Also, some store employees are kindda ghetto/don’t speak English, or act like a stick up their butt(to the cashier employees at JS Accessories). Lost 2 stars due to ripping off people. I am from Los Angeles, and this stuff in Santee Alley is a lot cheaper. People sell it for way higher than the should be price at this«mall» because they know rich white people come here to buy. It got 3 stars, because it is the closest thing to Santee Alley in Houston. Also, it is the closest thing you can get to New York’s China Town shopping. I miss Harwin from the 80’s where you could actually find things for $ 1(jewelry included) and no one knew what the heck Harwin was.

Good for shopping wholesale, no any big brand or something like national brand stuff, but it’s nice

I didn’t have much time to shop, but I did make it into a great scarf store right inside the main entrance. I bought 5 really unique scarves for $ 4.99 each and got a 6th one free. Can’t wait to wear them! It looked like there were other great stores, with bags, accessories, etc., but I was just short on time. I will be going back in the future.

When it comes to accessories I give this place 4⁄5 stars, as to overall experience and stores I give it 3⁄5. Almost everything here is reasonably priced, you just have to look at the right store. There are some stores here that charge $ 5 for a really simple bracelet that should only be $ 2 max in my opinion. As far as clothing goes, a lot of the things that I saw were saris and Chinese designed blouses/dresses — beautiful but not my style. The only reason I would go back to this place would be for accessories or for ribbons. Yes, hair ribbons. I don’t remember the name of the store but I believe it was new and they sell some of the coolest ribbons I’ve ever seen. In short, if you’re in need of accessories and on a budget this is the place you want to go to first! Otherwise just go to a regular mall for clothing.

What can I say? Cheap accessories, cheap luggage, cheap clothing, cheap shoes, cheap, cheap, cheap. And suspicious shop employees. I’ve never been followed like that before in my life, but I understand their need to as it is obvious they must have a problem with shoplifting. I didn’t buy anything and doubt I’ll go back to this particular building of shops. The only reason for two stars is for the large variety of cheapness. I wasn’t expecting fine shopping, but I just wasn’t all that impressed.

I visit this place quite often but I can never seem to get really interested in shopping. And these days, I’m just not able to find much that I want to purchase. I must be getting old and moody

This place was just ok. Walking around I noticed only one store that I would care to shop at, it’s another small Accesory Plaza, called JS Traders. Their main store is one of my favorite spots on Harwin… I wish it was open on Sundays though! Most of the other stores were not accessory based and just had cheap clothing, etc.
