Houston Lashology...The eyelash extension studio

I have now been to Houston Lashology twice and have been absolutely thrilled with the results both times.
I have already booked my 3^rd appointment with Giovanna. I am so glad I found Houston Lashology and Giovanna. I found my lash place!
I was extremely nervous trying a new place since I had been going to someone else for over six years, but after reading all the other good Unilocal reviews I decided to give Houston Lashology a try and I am so glad I did.
My first visit Giovanna removed my old lashes and applied a fresh new set. When she handed me the mirror I was so pleased with the results. My lashes looked amazing, very bright eyed and long. Between my original appointment and my 2 week refill my lashes stayed on so well. I hardly lost any lashes and my husband even thought I had another week before my refill.
The atmosphere is nice and relaxing and they have lots of products you can purchase to help extend the wear of your lashes. I have purchased the sleep mask, amplifeye and the protective coating so far. The eye mask has help my lashes from being all disheveled after a nights sleep. I have’t tried the amplifeye or the protective coating, since I just purchased then today, but I will provide an update after I have tried them for a few weeks.

Ladies do not be fooled by imitation/​cheap internet offerings. Remember that saying «you get what you pay for»…at Houston Lashology I am a client for life.
I am blessed to have Linda apply the new Russian Volume lashes and they do not disappoint. My first full set was 3+ hours but worth every second. Audiobook, headphones and a comfy chair… when it was complete my husband literally dropped his jaw. Let me be perfectly clear… not ONE swipe of mascara and he was sold. He calls it «the flutter effect» to get what I want from him! LOL

I’m new to the lash world but was aware of all the horror stories out there. I took my time to find the right place and I’m so glad I did. Houston Lashology provides a beautiful and relaxing environment and from the first phone call through follow-​up, everyone at the studio patiently answered my questions, was open and helpful and made this a great experience.
Judy did my lashes and I’m thrilled with the result. She took her time to talk to me about the look I was seeking and what would work with my own natural lashes. The results were beautiful, natural looking lashes — still me, but better. I couldn’t be happier!

PLEASE BE AWARE!!! They still charge you for the full amount of service either you do it or not. So I made an appointment when I came there little late because The receptionist set me up with a wrong time. And they said they didn’t have any one available for me and want me to reschedule but I could not because I had to out of town for 2 weeks. By the way, they said their policy if you don’t show up you will have to pay $ 25 which is okay even though it wasn’t my fault. But some reasons they still charged me $ 235 which is I wasn’t received any services at their store. Also customers service is so bad. The receptionist and the owner are so rule. Will never come back there again or recommend. If you don’t want to lose your money and poor service. Please ! Do Not Go There.

Never will come back again. I couldn’t make it to my appointment, and they still charged me. I called to switch days but the receptionist was very rude and wouldn’t work with me. I tried to explain that I couldn’t leave work, but they didn’t care. Obviously I was charged $ 110 for a visit I wasn’t able to make and they could not accommodate me. So glad I stayed I at work to cover for something I didn’t even get.

Well Liz set me up to redue lashes with Nyoke, and I love them! Thank you Liz, I apologize for reacting too quickly and thank you Nyoke for the wonderful lashes!

I have been getting my lashes done for over 3 years. I’ve been to 5 Houston locations and was pretty much equally satisfied with them all. However, for the last couple months I was giving them a break, so when I decided to have a full set put back on I researched the best place in Houston, Lashology seemed to be the answer. Based on reviews online. Unfortunately I can not agree. I’m giving one star for 3 reasons. The first, my results were not what I wanted or asked for. Second, they are too expensive to not give perfect results, 300 for a full set? No thanks. My previous studio did better because they listened to what I wanted and they are half that price. Third, it took me an hour and half to get here from the Galleria, so location is also terrible. I will not return, and I will not allow any of my friends to waste their time or money here either. I will personally pay for them to go somewhere else. Seriously ladies, try some other places too, cause it’s not worth it.

Great place! I’ve been to many eyelash places within the past two years and tried almost all those Groupon deals. None have been able to give the quality and service as Houston Lashology. When I got my lashes done at the other places, they would twist, itch, and fall out within 2 weeks. Not here! Approximately a month between refills with no sparse lash phase. (I book with Giovanna but have friends that book with all their technicians). Quality work!

Eyelash extensions are my guilty pleasure. I’m in the public eye more than most people with frequent photo shoots, public presentations and constantly on the run. Having lash extensions has me feeling polished even when on the fly with my crazy schedule.
My first set of lashes was done at Xtreme Lash Studio in The Woodlands and I was hooked from the start. The Xtreme lash system is the only lash for me. But traveling 45 minutes to an hour each way plus studio time just wasn’t working with my crazy schedule. So Xtreme transferred me to Houston Lashology which is very close to my home. What a blessing! Rob and Liz welcomed me like a long lost cousin. The studio is spotless, beautifully decorated, warm and friendly. Giavanna is my stylist. I swear I can’t even feel her touching me! She’s so gentle and has the smoothest most calming energy ever! I frequently fall asleep during the services because it’s so relaxing.
I have relashing done every two or three weeks. They do such a great job that I didn’t need any mascara (which means no tugging on sensitive areas around the eyes when removing mascara) and my lashes still look great even going into the third week. I find that’s usually the case when I follow their detailed instructions on eyelash care. My natural lashes are still quite healthy which proves that they know what they’re doing and that I’m following their recommendations.

I was a client of another eye lash place right behind Joel Osteen’s church and nothing bad to say about them, they were good but I had to find a place closer to home. Went on line and used Unilocal and found Lashology and to my surprise the place was only 5 minutes away from the office. So after driving around it like a shark I just walked in, was greeted by Rob, he took the time to explain everything and after I realized that he was still all ears to my questions I simply booked my appointment fr that same week with Lisa Lam.
The first time I went I had to be patient with the results because I had lost too many lashes due to overlashing from the prior location (placing too many lashes on 1 lash) but after the 4^th refill I was looking so much better and to improve my results, Lisa suggested I purchase the Lash and Brow product to improve growth and it did make a difference.
Lisa Lam is my beautician and she is attentive, dedicated, funny and she gets my style because we both are ver alike except she’s taller, lol. Anyways I just like her. Thanks you Lisa Lam :)
Before I finish, I want to also share that on Tuesday ⁰⁴⁄₁₅ I will write my 2^nd review but this time about my experience with the new product called CryBaby which is a Mascara for upper and lower lashes at $ 75. For now I will do my lower lashes, maybe I’ll get a discount for being the guinea pig. The product says to last from 2 — 3 weeks and it could not come at a better time. I am going to Bermuda for 5 days and I will get to test the product to the max — 5 days of salt water, everyday showers, chlorine water, moisturizer, sun screen, sun and heat — that’s a lot for a product to live up to but who knows, it just might surprise me.
Even though I never got a complimentary paraffin hand wax or a free starter kit, these guys go all the way to accommodate you, but hey I’ll settle with a free refill next time. :) Thank you Lisa, Rob and Liz — Sandra H.

Lisa Lam is my eyelash technician and I must say this has been the best experience with lashes that I have ever had. I have been getting my lashes done for around six years now and have experience everything from blindingly strong adhesives, what I call the «crunchy effect» when it’s time for a refill and the poor quality shows, and also major fall out of my own real lashes. The ambiance of the establishment is very soothing. Everyone is very professional. Not to mention the care and quality of work that Lisa has shown to me each and every visit has made me a loyal and faithful customer! I highly recommend this business. Also, a real plus for me is location and their flexibility with scheduling and pricing packages.

I have to say Lashology far surpassed my expectations. I was like everyone else, completely ignorant to the ways of the lash world. I went to to one of those other places where they charge $ 79. What I got was a hot mess.
I called on a Saturday, and was greeted by a very nice man on the phone.
Rob was caring and sympathetic to my situation and was able to get me in that afternoon. When I arrived I was greeted in a warm and welcoming manner and was shown to a chair to fill out a few pieces of paperwork.
From the moment you walk in you feel like your in a 5 star spa. I was offered refreshments and then was shown to a cozy little room with a fluffy, oh so comfy couch.
I was offered a complimentary paraffin hand wax and indulged. i watched a quick video and the owner sat there with me and at the end explained things further and asked if I had any questions he could answer.
You will also notice the ceiling, they have decorated it to mimic stars twinkling in the sky, very soothing.
I was then introduced to my lash expert Trang, she escorted me to her room and I was situated on a heated bed and covered with a cozy blanket and tucked right in.
I must say my lashes were a mess, too much glue was used and half of my lashes were missing from being stuck together.
Trang was gentle and meticulous as she cleaned the glue and residue from my existing lashes.
Then came the wonderful part she applied my mink lashes and then all was right with the world. Oh also before she started she noticed I needed a clean up on my brows and was a master at her craft. I have never ever ever had my brows styled so well.
Once the lashes were done I was truly amazed with the results and her skill.
The appointment took longer because of the clean up job and even though they are suppose to close at 6pm they stayed to 7 pm to make sure I was taken care of properly…
If you want a superior job done and done right the first time then you will go to lashology, going anywhere else would make no sense and as my grandfather always said «You get what you pay for»
I hope you try them out, tell them Shantel sent you, you will be taken care of and not disappointed.

In response to Liz’s comment I did not receive a phone call. I did however get an email from Rob asking me to come in once again after I posted my review on Unilocal.This man is very nice but this would have been my third time driving 45 minutes to Lashology to fix my lashes. I not only wanted them for my daughters wedding, I wanted them to stay on from the day I got them. I do not want to keep going back for the same set of lashes to stay on. By the time Lashology got back to me I had already went elsewhere for the same lashes and had to pay again. I was lucky this time the cost was less elsewhere and my lashes stayed on. Enough said. Lashology just did not deliver for me.

This is a great place to get lash extensions. Ask for Trang when you book your appointment. She explains every step and pays attention to detail. Worth the $$$. I initially thought the maintenance and products would be too much to keep up with since I’m a get up and go kind of girl but that wasn’t the case at all. It just took some adjusting and now I’m a total pro at cleaning and brushing them. I’ll never go back to my normal lashes. My friends and especially my husband loves them. Thanks Lashology! You guys are the best!

My first time getting lash extensions and I couldn’t have chosen a better place.
The décor is nice and Rob makes you feel welcomed when you first walk in, offering refreshments and such.
Shana Wu is wonderful! She is very gentle and professional. I am Asian so my lashes are short, straight and just plain ugly. I wasn’t expecting too much out of the extensions because my lashes were so stiff but it came out pretty well! Rob contacted me a couple days later to check up on me and how my lashes are doing! Great customer service.
The lashes lasted longer than I had expected them to. I went in for a relash at 3 weeks with only a few lashes intact. This time I asked Shana to use shorter lashes but with more curls in them. They turned out absolutely PERFECT. I am in love with them. I was in there for about an hour and a half but it only felt like 30 mins!
As a first-​time customer, you get a goodie bag with very useful stuff in it ;)
This place definitely deserves all the 5-​stars it’s getting.

I have been coming here for months. The staff is always accommodating my ever changing scheduled and taste in how I like the lashes. Rachel is totally meticulous and professional. She is able to always give encouraging words how to care for the lashes and I have yet to have any damage to my own lashes. She knows the exact lengths that work well for me. So if you are looking for a place that is professional and warm this is your place. The setting is calming and the staff are super friendly!

This was my first time getting professional eyelash extensions, and I’m so glad I chose the best place in town! I had received eyelash extensions once before through a groupon deal, and afterwards, when I got home, my husband couldn’t even tell. That’s frustrating especially when you invest so much time and money into getting your lashes done.
This time when I got home, my husband was shocked; even standing across the room from me, he could see the huge difference, and he actually had to eat his words when he’d said the extensions weren’t going to be worth the money. It’s an investment for sure, but I think the pay off is worth it: not having to wear make-​up, having a shorter routine each morning, and feeling more confident in general.
Trang was my stylist, and she was absolutely fabulous. I can’t recommend her enough. She explained to me what she was doing every step of the way and asked for my input about lash length and overall shape. I found her extremely knowledgeable, and at the end of the appointment when I looked at the job she’d done, I was so impressed.
The facilities are gorgeous as well. I love the LED lights in the ceiling that make it look like you’re gazing up at the night sky, and I was so comfortable during my session that I think I fell asleep for a good portion of it.. I’ll definitely be back soon. :)

Ever go to one of those groupon deal places where you are rushed out to get to the next customer? Your lashes may LOOK good when you first leave but 3 days later they become wild bushes on your eye lids, where even brushing them out was impossible because there was clumping?
You won’t have that problem here!
This is a place that you come to for excellent quality & wonderful customer service & the best lashes. They have wonderful options for you & ways to take care of your lashes. I have always had problems with clumping, & dramatic fake looks. However, when I was finished with my full set here I was very thrilled at how it turned out. They look soft, subtle, long, gorgeous, and natural — almost like my own eyelashes!
I would say my lashes came out beyond PERFECT.
The stylist takes her time & you do not feel like you are being rushed out for the next customer, leaving your lashes flawed & clumpy. There is no pinching, they are extremely careful & gentle while working on you. I literally only brush them once a day when I wake up as oppose to the other lash places where i would have to check every 3 hours to make sure some didn’t go stray.
I use to go for the best deals, the cheapest & easiest. However, after 2 years of getting my lashes done, I realized what the important of quality is & I would reccomend anyone I know to come try it out.
