I had four estimates done before I chose Houston Window Experts. Jeff was the most Knowledgeable and really spent the time with us to answer all of our questions and concerns. The windows turned out better that we had expected and the install crew was great also.

I contacted several window companies prior to deciding to use Houston Window Experts, and I couldn’t be happier with my decision. I chose them because of their excellent hands-​on customer service — from the woman that answers the phone all the way to the owner, everyone was knowledgeable about their products.
I have a couple of odd windows and was turned down by one window company because they didn’t think they could do the job, but Houston Window Expert’s master installer did an amazing job with these windows and I’m very pleased with his work. During the installation process, our saleslady came out to ensure everything was going smoothly, and the owner even reached out to me to make sure I was satisfied with the windows. I would recommend Houston Window Experts to anyone looking to replace their windows.

I have been searching for window replacements for over 2 weeks now and have spoken to 6 different companys. Jeff is second to last and he is by far not the cheapest, he rolls in with a goat down past his chest, iron cross ring, but clean. I’m thinking slick salesmen with and answer for everything and what he does not know he will be able to deflect enough to confuse you with useless details. I could not be further from the truth. Jeff was knowledgeable on the product, took his time explaining why he thought this window was the best fit for me, he carries many brands. Gave me the reasoning on why I don’t need 3 coats on certain windows designed a less cost design on other windows to keep cost down. Gave me a breakdown of each window, removal and installation process and other ways to save money. The best part is that he told me up front he was not going to be the cheap jack on product or installation then backed it up and would do so in writing and the quote reflected it.
I don’t write many 5 stars and most people will write when something is wrong. But I have to say if you just want to see true salesmen and knowledgeable person work with Houston window experts.
I have not decided on going with them just yet but I am finding it difficult to not justify the worth. Will update after we choose a window installation company.
Highly recommend if you are looking for Windows hear them out.

Even though 5 of our 6 windows were originally ordered the incorrect size, it was quickly fixed without stressing me out at all, and HWE still deserves 5 stars. Every aspect of this company is run well.
Gaylon was my sales rep and he was very courteous and professional, without pushing too hard to sell. He had answers to all of my questions. He also explained the manufacturer and installation warranties very well, and I feel confident that if I have an issue with my windows, I can contact HWE and they’ll get it resolved quickly.
I was replacing six 40-​year-​old windows. My final cost was about $ 500 per window, which I found to be reasonable. I got competing bids, one of which was cheaper than HWE, but I went with them because of the quality of windows (Milgard) and the professionalism displayed.
In early May, I get a call from Angie that our windows had already arrived and there was an opening for a small job installation on Saturday, May 16, if we were available. This was my birthday, and since I’m a dork, I thought getting the windows installed that day would be a wonderful present! When the installers arrived that morning, they determined that all but one window was measured incorrectly. The owner Jeff calls me and personally apologizes for the mixup and promises to order new windows correctly sized and rush them to be delivered and installed. I wasn’t really mad, and it didn’t ruin my birthday. Everyone makes mistakes, and as long as it gets remedied to my satisfaction, no harm done.
On May 16^th, the crew install the one correctly sized window. Unfortunately, one of my other windows had already been ripped out at that point and they had to install an ill fitting window for two weeks. That said, they ran to Home Depot and framed it in, and made it completely functional for that time frame, so again, no harm done.
Sure enough, 2 weeks later, Lindsey schedules my second attempt at window installation on another Saturday that worked for my schedule. A new crew comes and more apologies are abound, but they get to work and finish the other 5 windows before 3 pm. They all fit this time and look fantastic!
The new windows really breathe new life in to the exterior of our house, and let so much more light in to our home. This is one home improvement that is well worth the cost. It makes the house look years younger, and infinitely more energy efficient. I am so thrilled to be rid of my drafty old 1970’s windows!

Jeff was courteous enough to call me back to recommend a different glass company because I only needed a single widow repair. Would recommend his company just based off of that!

I am very please with the windows and service from Houston Windows Experts they don’t put a lot of sales pressure on you to buy their produtcs.. I had 5 bids from highest to lowest Gulf Coast windows, Four Seasons, Home Depot, Houston Window Experts and Window world. Jeff show me three windows Simonton, Milgard and Nt. we choose Milgard for the design and they offered lifetime warranty on windows as well as labor, the others were only warranty for windows and they also charged for taking down curtins and blinds Houston Wcindows Experts did not charge for taking down curtins and blinds. They finished the job in one day had 6 guys one was the certifided installer Jeremy they were on time which is great since since we live in Crosby Texas. I would high recommend Huston Window Experts

I couldn’t be more pleased with the work quality, product and integrity of the company’s employees. From the receptionist, to the laborers and sales, everything went smoothly from start to finish. Price was extremely competitive, so much so, that I had my sliding glass doors replaced with french doors at the same time! Would highly recommend.

After receiving several bids from window installers in and around Houston, a comparable bid for a high quality of product, and Jeff’s wealth of knowledge made the decision to more forward with the company effortless. I had four windows replaced in my nearly eighty year old home. The finished product went well beyond my expectations. Based on the expedience, knowledge and overall professionalism shown by the entire staff of Houston Window Experts, I began a second phase, replacing five additional windows. I will use them again and recommend them at the highest regards.

They were very courteous in contacting me after I indicated my interest on their website. After playing telephone tag for a few days, I finally emailed and in their reply, I found out they have a 5-​window minimum for projects. I did not find that information readily available on their website.
So not a good company if you only need a few windows replaced. =(

Thanks to Sheri’s review, I called Jeff and had him come out to give us a quote. My husband had already met with a competitor who had the hard sell. We knew that we needed to replace all the windows in our 1953 home but we were worried about cost and quality.
Jeff came out and showed us the windows. After a couple of hours of contemplation, we ended up replacing all the windows. Not only do they look great — we get lots of compliments. Multiple neighbors have stopped and asked who replaced our windows because they really have made the front of your house look amazing.
It was competitive pricing and quality work that makes us really impressed with Houston Window Experts.

The owner, Jeff Ludy, is an intelligent young man who runs a great business. He responds to phone and e-​mail requests promptly, offers great windows at a reasonable rates, and shows up when he says he will. He and his crew just finished a window replacemnet job for me last week and I couldn’t be more pleased with the results.
What a difference 4 Simonton windows made on the west side of my house. It use to be like an oven in my kitchen and den, now with my new windows the den and kitchen are 5 degrees cooler… wish I would have done it sooner.
