J T Air Conditioning & Heating

My father used JT AIr to change out units and for service calls for his home and my brother’s rent house. My husband and I also used him to upgrade one of our AC units on our current house and rent house. We found out the previous owner of our home who was a financial advisor also used JT to replace one of the units. JT has always been honest, competitively priced and prompt as time allows. I recommend him to anyone that is looking for an honest hard working man.

a/​c went out on a Sunday night, gave him a call
I was assured 9 am the next morning.
9 comes around no tech…9:30 no tech
give him a call… I’m right down the road
hour passes no guy
around noon he shows up and gets to work
JT laughs in the face of questions and professes he is the expert…
ac gets fixed… compressor fan motor is out… we get charged a total for $ 360 for two hours of his time and a $ 90 part… ugggggg
a week later I wake up at 5 am to a squeal… fan outside had completely fallen off and was laying on the compressor… idiocy
I call him up… but decided to cancel and go with another company
turns out we had a failing capacitor in the attic and the one at the compressor went bad
no wonder JT had problems getting the unit to run again… no strong caps to start the unit up
chaulk it up to a lesson in life
