Please read the «Not Recommended Reviews» The truth about Kathy Ongert is there. She was my sisters attorney and after receiving $ 10,000 she quit because she wasn’t getting paid (after receiving a huge sum of money). She charged $ 80 to send a letter in the mail or read and reply to email. the way she handled my sisters case looks like she was working for the future ex husband. Told my sister how horrible she was every time she was asked why she did something a particular way.
After $ 10,000 and no real relief she quit and is now trying to sue my sister for more money… BEWARE!!!
Someone said she is all talk and no bite… well she does the talking to get you in and then bites her own clients.
Don’t use Mrs. Ongert if you value your case, esteem and money.

Kathy Ongert represented my family in an adoption/​custody agreement. She is the best family attorney I have worked with during the ten years I have had to work with the family court system for custody of my children. Her office staff are very professional and have an answer for me anytime I had a question about my case. Kathy walked me through the adoption process step by step and made sure we knew what we needed to do next. She is a wonderful person! Her office tries to minimize your expense as well.

We had a horrible experience with Kathy. She would not return calls; instead she would send letters in the mail that she charged us for. She also comped a days work for us because my husband served in the military, then said she wished she had not done that when we questioned some of her actions as an attorney. We would definitely not recommend her. She is more focused on patting herself on the back then helping her clients. I am telling everyone I know because there are way too many other attorneys out there.

Kathy Ongert was my divorce attorney more than a decade ago and she was excellent back then, too.
