I love the food here. Customer service used to be a lot better. The people that used to take orders were nice and friendly. Now, there is some unhappy teenager that seems to be contemplating suicide working the register. Hi would have been nice… nevertheless, here I am getting these dang delicious wings!

Came here while waiting for our movie to start… Wasn’t too crowded which I enjoyed but also made me nervous. The staff were really friendly and knowledgeable. I tried the la garlic noodle and it was savory and spicy… VERYDELICIOUS

Came here because I was sitting at home, far from my usual crawfish spot and decided to get out the house and take a chance even though this place is only slightly closer. Small, shopping center, and narrow restaurant. Service friendly from the guy who delivered my meal to the table, the girl at the register greeted me but didn’t seem authentically friendly but that’s ok. The place had a good number of customers, a lot of to go business. I ordered 3 lbs combo with 1 sausage & corn &2 potatoes, think it was about 21⁄22 bucks. There were some big jokers in this mix! Straight baby lobsters… they had a good flavor but seemed a little overcooked, too easy to separate head from tail. Also, I love an excess of garlic with my garlic butter flavoring and they don’t add enough for my liking. They have sauces & «butter» in containers on the tables with plenty of napkins and hand sanitizer strategically placed throughout the restaurant. If you live nearby, I’d recommend you try this spot. I spoke to a patron that was raving hard about their crawfish and crab legs. Only place she comes. While not my #1, it definitely hit the spot and knocked the edge off my craving. There’s another restaurant on 249 with a similar name so check the address to make sure you are at the correct one. The reviews on the other aren’t as great.

This is my go-to spot since its 5 minutes from my house. But, it’s by far the best on the North side! The place is small but trust me, it’s worth it! The people that works here are very nice and their crawfish is so good. I order to-go all the time and never had a bad batch!

Great crawfish, the sausage, corn, turkey necks are awesome, Just the perfect taste and spices. Crawfish are decently sized as well. Only drawback here is the size of the place. It will not accommodate large crowds but other than that it’s really a good crawfish place.

Use to order live crawfish to boil on my own here until just recently when my fiancé and I decided to dine in and try the boiled crawfish… $ 21.99 for the 3lb. Combo(w/2 potatoes, sausage and 1 corn) ! Can’t beat it ! We got the medium spicy garlic butter. All I can say is we have been back once a week since! It takes a minute for your food to come out, but I rather them take their time than slop something together. If you’re reading this you’re doing the wrong thing! Goooooooooooo! :)

Little dive off of 249 in a sketchy-looking shopping center that has very minimal seating to spare. Still, we were in the area looking for Viet-style crawfish and this certainly fit the bill. We ordered 3 lbs. of crawfish to spare, lemon pepper and mild style. Not really sure if it WAS lemon pepper, since the spices seemed to be hard to distinguish. Still, it was certainly very good for what it was. I will say that for«mild» what we ordered was still extremely spicy. By the end our mouths were sore, but that’s fine. If that was certainly mild, I’d definitely suggest mild for persons of weaker spice-tolerance constitution. The crawfish were a respectable mix of smaller fare and large ones; by the end, with only 2 potatoes and 1 cob of corn and a sausage split between my husband and I, we were satiated with our meal – definitely enough for 2 people. Due to the small size of the interior, I would probably 5-star it for take-away – which a lot of local customers seemed to do while we were there. The place is good, though, and family run. Definitely worth a check in.

I won’t lie, there were pretty good and their«Spicy» crawfish are pretty good but I’d also like to give them credit for their delicious shrimp fried rice, it was amazing! Boy was it good! I just didn’t like the lady in the counter, was not all that nice but it’s ok, it will not prevent me from coming here again. BTW, their crawfish is about a dollar cheaper than most places that I have been to!

Decent crawfish, they were pretty small when we visited on Saturday, I wish they would have bigger. We got the Cajun spice, spicy heat level, with corn, potatoes and sausage. The potatoes were good, sausage mediocre, but the corn was pretty mushy and way overcooked. They were pretty spicy, heat wise, we ordered 7 pounds and they put them in one bag so by the time we got to the bottom they weren’t seasoned at all. The top of the bag was so spicy we could barely eat it and by the end we were looking for extra cajun seasoning to put on. We didn’t realize it was BYOB which is good to know, we will take advantage of that if we return. The butter sauce at the condiment table is the fake butter they put on movie theater popcorn so buyer beware there… well, not buyer because it’s free but just a warning, it’s not that tasty. Price was pretty high, $ 6.99 a pound @ 7 lbs. w/minimal sides and 1 drink came to $ 65. We didn’t leave stuffed or anything, definitely could have eaten more, so when you think $ 32.50 per person you kind of expect to at least leave full. We arrived at 6:15 and the line was almost out the door and stayed that way until we left at 7:30ish. We ended up grabbing an empty table while we stood in line but there were not a lot of options, I saw some people standing around waiting to eat because there were no open tables. I am not a fan of that concept, it’s very stressful and I don’t really like paying all that money to not even know if I can sit down. If we come back we will try and go at a time that isn’t so busy perhaps.

Love this place. The Viet twist on crawfish, with the spice and the garlic sauce, and stiffrying it instead of boiling it, makes for a great final product. Super delicious. Would have 5 stars, but on my second visit I have to say the shrimp freshness dropped off versus the first visit, when they were absolutely first class(when that peel comes off so easily, you know it’s fresh).

Hands down the best crawfish place in Houston. I’ve tried many many places and nothing compared to the boiling crab in California. I ordered 3 pounds and as my crawfish stack got smaller and smaller as I ate I got sad. I regretted not ordering more. I got the garlic butter in mild and came with extra sauce and seasoning on the side and 3 limes cut as well. $ 6.99 a pound or get 3 pounds with sides for $ 21.99. This place isn’t in the greatest part of town but they are legit. When I was paying I could see the guys in the back cleaning the crawfish and could see how clean it was. Most places don’t even clean the crawfish and u could tell, but this place does and I’m glad to be able to see it with my own eyes. I didn’t try anything else on their long menu as I was just trying out the crawfish. Crawfish was fresh and sweet. I love it and am debating if I should go back for a second round tonight.

I really didn’t make too much of an effort to frequent our usual haunts for crawfish this past season so after wrapping up some shopping and noticing a grand opening sign for LA Cajun Crawfish, I said, «Why not?». Walking into the establishment we were greeted right away by the hostess and you instantly smell the sweet and Cajun aroma of crawfish intermingling with each other. The menu board is easy to read and has such a variety of items. One of the best things about this place is you can help yourself to FREE, unlimited amount condiments and seasonings. Many of the other places nickel and dime you for a tiny container of sauce. There are big screen TVs in different areas of the restaurant so no matter where you are sitting you can look up and see all the action happening. Once customers got up and left someone from the waitstaff would immediately clean the table and the condiment section is always clean. We ordered 3# of the garlic butter and 3# of the Cajun, and I have to say I enjoyed the garlic butter the best. It was finger-licking good! The crawfish could definitely have sat in the Cajun seasoning a little longer to soak in the flavor. All in all a great experience!

I read so many good reviews on this place I just had to try it myself, so I ordered the 3 pounds of lemon pepper mixed with spicy garlic butter crawfish with sides and Jamaican jerk wings. Everything was great! I’m definitely coming back to this place.

Just about exactly what you would want from a cajun spot. side of the highway in a strip of stores, very small, lots of pots cooking up crawfish, shrimp, crab, lobster, catfish, etc. Great for an impromptu sit down with friends or a pick up and take out.
