Linda is the best! I have taken several dresses both high end and low end to her and she has completely transformed them into the perfect fit.

The woman is crazy and unprofessional. I tolerated it a few times but please save yourself from this place. There are so many more other alteration spots on Westheimer.

Amazing service. I went in to have my evening dress hemmed and brought in a little. The lady at the front was very friendly and made some excellent suggestions. The price was great and she was able to meet my deadline of one week :) Very happy!

I brought a pair of jeans here to get altered on Tuesday and was expecting to pick up on Saturday at 1pm as promised. The lady working there asked me the length I wanted after cutting and hemming. I clearly folded the jeans to where I expected it to be and she nodded and said ok and then rambled on about how the shopping center was re-doing the store fronts and now her business was going to be affected. Well ok, she seemed courteous but it was $ 10 for the service… When my husband went to go pick up my jeans today she hadn’t even touched them saying I hadn’t told here where to cut and hem. Then I had to get on the phone with her and estimate how many inches I wanted cut off. I’ve never had this problem with any tailor where I brought in my jeans(neatly folded to where they should be cut) and had any misunderstanding… Guess I’ll be on the hunt for someone who understands directions and is cheaper…

I’ve been to this place twice to have altertations done, today being the second time, and it will definitely be my last! The first time I came, I had a pair of jeans altered in the waist and the asian lady(I apologize if she’s not Asian. She may be Korean, not sure… sorry!) did a pretty good job, its just her customer service and attitude that throws me off! The day I went back to pick up the jeans, I stood at the register about 8 – 10 minutes before she waitied on me. I know that doesn’t seem like a long time, but when you’re just standing there waiting on somebody to acknowledge that you’re in their store, it is a long time! Nobody else was in the store, so it wasn’t like she was busy with customers. UGH! It looked like she was trying to finish up a sewing job, but OMG, I’m a customer! Why would you make me wait that long before you acknowledge me! SMH! Now lets get to today’s experience! I went to pick up a pair of slacks that I had her to put a new zipper on. I took the pants to her about a month ago, and didn’t have the ticket number with me. I figured it would be fine, as long as I gave her my last name and the description of the pants. So when I did that, she started looking through her rack and didn’t see the pants. She kept saying«I don’t see the pants» and«They’re not here» So at this point I’m thinking, Lady are you serious??? Then what really put the icing on the cake is when she tells me to look through the rack and find them myself!!! WOWZER! I just shook my head and rambled through the racks. Ended up finding my pants in the same section she was looking in. That made me mad because she was only three hangers away from my pants. After that, I said no way, I will NOT be coming back to Linda’s! She does not know how to deal with people!

Horrific service, attitude and quality. The owner took in too much of my daughter’s dress and when it was too tight, blamed her(a perfect weight 12-year-old) to a pregnant woman. And then went on to charge me an additional $ 60 to correct her mistake. Furthermore, she complained that we «made her crazy» by having to undo her mistake. There are a number of skilled and honest tailors in this city. Linda’s is certainly not one.

Took my wedding gown and my mother’s formal gown to get dry-cleaned. Shockingly horrible service! They put both dresses into a machine instead of doing them by hand — this caused a lot of stitching on my wedding dress to come off!!! My mother’s dress came back with stains that were not on the dress before. Moreover, they refused to even acknowledge these mistakes, and were very rude, going to the point of throwing us out of their store, saying«We will never do business with you again». I later found out that they do not use filters to clean the dry-cleaning fluid before re-using it, and that is why my mother’s dress came back with stains. It is called«deposition», and it is basically the dirt from other clothes they washed in dirty dry-cleaning fluid. This is unacceptable! I would not recommend this place to anyone, especially not anyone looking to clean their wedding or formal gowns. Also, I would make sure that they even have a permit to buy dry-cleaning fluid(it should be displayed on the front of the store).
