We have been with Logix for almost a year now and so far, so good! Their customer service is much better than Comcast because you get someone right away when you call the 1 – 800 number and everyone we have spoken to is friendly and efficient.

LOGIX has been my data supplier for over 5 years. The uptime is close to 100%. Any interreputions have been handled in minutes.
Their customer servive group is amazing. No talking to a machine. You talk to people who understand their system and technical support is always available with one phone call.
One of the few service providers who understand you are a problem but a customer.

This is an update to my review of 1÷12÷2015. Am LOWERING my rating, because I just found out there is a 3 year contract in the fine print! The salesman «forgot» to tell me about that. I must admit, it is right there on the page, so my bad. But, now I’m stuck for 2 more years. BEWARE Logix!

After 4.5 years of dealing with chronic phone service outages, I am requesting for you to cancel my contract effective 9÷11÷15 for the following reasons:
* Chronic outages that severely impact my business since I switched to your service
* When it rains I can expect my phones and fax to be down. I am an insurance agent. When it rains is exactly when my clients have to get in touch with me to file claims and ask questions. This is not acceptable.
* Additionally, when the phone lines are down my alarm system doesn’t work, leaving my office exposed to burglary for days at a time.
* I was forced to move my Internet service to another carrier last year because I couldn’t afford for my phones AND internet to be down every time it rains.
* AT&T has acknowledged there is a problem with the cable and they have no intention of permanently fixing the problem
* Our last outage (11÷09−10÷15) lasted two full days where our customers had no way of contacting us. Not by phone or fax.
* Your marketing material says everywhere that customers receive 1 full day of credit for every HOUR they are out of service. I’m still waiting for my credits. When I called I was told I wouldn’t be given credit. Why?
Despite many service issue escalations, I’ve only been visited by a sales rep one time. I filed a Better Business Bureau complaint on 9÷14÷2015 to try to get a solution from you but the complaint was completely ignored and was finally closed as Unresolved. I was left with no choice but to file a PUC complaint.
Because nothing has been done in 4.5 years fix this problem despite my repeated attempts begging for a solution, I had no option but to temporarily switch to a different phone service that doesn’t use your cables or equipment.
For over 4 years, your company has been completely tone deaf to my service issues. To my point, on 11÷12÷15 a Logix technician showed up and said he was doing a site survey for a secondary T1. I asked him why and he said it was for redundancy so that if my T1 goes down, the second one would pick up and keep my phones up. This isn’t the case. The phones are on a bad cable pair. There isn’t a good cable pair. No matter how many T1’s I have, the phones, fax and alarm are going to continue going down. Why haven’t I been contacted by someone who can help me rather than sending some poor tech out here to try to make me believe this would fix the issue? And if you actually believe this was a viable solution, why did it take over 4 years to try to implement it?
Due to the chronic nature of this issue and the financial impact it has had on my business, the right thing for you to do is to allow me to cancel my contract effective 9÷11÷15 when the latest rash of outages began again.

I am asking Unilocal to come up with something less than 1-​Star so I can properly share my thoughts about Logix Communications. We have been somewhat underwhelmed clients for the past 36 months. Approximately 45 days prior to our contract ending, we notified them of our decision to leave. They responded with legal terminology that amounts to what is the Evergreen clause in contracts… AUTO-​RENEWAL. We have appealed this, and they declined it. They are REQUIRING us to pay for the next 36 months. We are talking to our lawyers about this. Yes, this may be (somewhat) legal in Texas. But this is BS from a business ethics standpoint. They have NOT notified us in any material manner other than the original contract signed in 2012.

Update after having the service for a couple of years. The internet service is not bad. We are currently maxed out because we’ve added many people to our staff. But what I would warn people about is the contract. Stay away from it. This type of contract and service does not allow a company to grow. And I now know that the price is wayyy too much for the speed of service. Before, I was very happy with them because our internet with AT&T kept on dropping and I was glad to finally get steady internet, but now, we need something faster. We are now waiting until our contract is finished to switch, but I’ve been told that Logix is not very helpful when it comes to giving up your phone number so I guess we will see.

I’m in complete agreement with the posters above; avoid this company like the plague and I wish I could post sub-​zero stars. We hired Logix for phone (T1) and had constant (at least once a month) problems with dropped calls, or no service whatsoever; our clients got a fast busy. I had a few clients that asked if we’d gone out of business. Logix continuously blamed the problems on other sources (phone carrier, the office building…), and it always ended up being their fault. Logix strung us along by saying they’d give us a credit on our monthly bill –which never happened. Logix also said that due to the problems, we could cancel our lease at any time. Of course, when we did, we discovered that Logix WROTE IN a 5 year term AFTER we had signed the one year lease! Still in a battle with them.

I wish there was an option to select zero stars. I got stuck with this company in 2010 and made the worse decision ever. What I though was going to be great service ended up being a nightmare and is costing my company money. In 2010, they assured me that a T1 line was the best option for me. In 2012, I complained about the slow internet and my whole goal of having clients view our web cameras to see their pets in boarding was not working due to limited speeds. They recommended that I add another T1 line so I did. Well, when I did that I ended up getting myself into another 3 year contract. With 2 T1 lines I am still unable to allow multiple clients to view web cameras. Now I am looking for another company and have to pay big bucks to break a contract. Do they not realize that T1 lines are outdated! Not once have they updated their products/​services to accommodate growing businesses. If you don’t care about internet speed, then this may be the company for you. If your company needs fast internet than I would not recommend Logix. Errrrrrr.

Avoid this company like the plague. They claim customer service but it’s exactly the opposite. Once the sign you into a ²⁄₃ year contract, there is no 30 day satisfaction guarantee. Just wanted to get my business phone setup and it was left up to me to figure out the logistics behind this. The services you are suppose to receive as part of your package requires you to be proactive and sign up yourself. If you fail to do so within 40 days, you have to pay an additional $ 30 order fee for services that is already part of your package. Whatever pain you have with ATT or Comcast, it’s worth staying with them then to switch to this poorly ran scam of a company
