The winning record of our top trial attorney, Paul Looney, is outstanding. Mr. Looney has tried 54 criminal jury trials since 1995 with zero final convictions. There are few, if any, criminal defense attorneys in history with a better record.

A graduate of West Texas State University, Mr. Looney earned degrees in economics and political science. He earned his Doctorate of Jurisprudence from the South Texas College of Law.

Mr. Looney is an attorney and counselor of the United States Court of Federal Claims, the Supreme Court of Texas, the Northern, Southern, Western and Eastern District Courts of Texas, the United States District Court Eastern District of Michigan, the District Court of Colorado and the Fifth Circuit Court of Appeals.

Mr. Looney is a member of the Texas Trial Lawyers Association, the American Bar Association, the National Association of Criminal Defense Lawyers, Harris County Criminal Lawyers Association and the United States Tax Court.
