History

Established in 1971.

Established as solo practice upon graduation at top of law school class, grew to include branches in Austin and Harlingen, employing 12 associates, and in recent years returned to solo practice to concentrate more efforts in mediation, arbitration and other dispute resolution methods.

Business Owner

Born and educated in Laredo, was graduated in 1962 from The University of Texas in Austin with a bachelor of journalism degree. Professional journalist as reporter for Corpus Christi Caller, acting managing editor for the Laredo Times, and state capitol correspondent for the Long News Service. Partner in international advertising and public relations firm. Director of press and public relations for organization based in Mexico City with services throughout the Western Hemisphere. As lawyer, recipient of annual Outstanding Trial Lawyer award. Fellow of the Chartered Institute of Arbitrators of the London Court, former mediation and arbitration panelist of JAMS, presently mediation and arbitration panelist of the American Arbitration Association and the International Centre for Dispute Resolution. Active in local, state, national and international bar associations, with committee chairmanships and other leadership positions.
