History

Established in 1995.

We teach children that there is a little bit of science in everything around by sparking their imagination. Mad Science of Houston has been teaching children to love to learn science since 1995.

Meet the Business Owner

Shari P.

Business Owner

Shari Penner Riesenfeld graduated from the Tulane School of Business with a Bachelors of Science in Management with a minor in Marketing. She spent years in the retail world by not only growing up in several family clothing retail stores, but also by working in them her entire life. At 18 years of age she wrote the biggest book in the store at Saks Fifth Avenue. When she graduated whe was accepted into the Federated Management Training Program, the premier retail training program in the country, and was placed in the downtown store which was a big honor; she was also the first one get placed in his/​her own department. After she was merchandising/​buying for 15 stores even sold lego tables. After she had kids it was off to open MSH; her kids were the perfect ages and she know she could sell it!

Shari has been active, on the Board and received the Presidents Young Leadership Award at Jewish Community Center and considers her participation in Leadership Houston a highlight!
