My wife and I just got married a week ago and Mandap Creations did a wonderful job over the course of our wedding weekend! We were blown away by all of the décor at every event, especially the wedding and the reception. We received so many compliments on the elegance and beauty of the colors and décor! Everything turned out better than we had hoped and we loved every bit of it! There were so many little décor details that we had never discussed before, but Mandap Creations did a fantastic job in making everything look beautiful and perfect!

Dipti Shah and Mandap Creations made my wedding and all included events a dream! Dipti had me sold on our first meeting due to how relatable and knowledgable she was. Within a few hours, she had a full understanding of exactly how I wanted my wedding to look. She presented multiple selections that varied in price just to ensure we knew our options. During the following months leading up to the wedding, Dipti was in constant contact and always ready to help alleviate any issues or questions I had. Due to there being less than ideal timing for decoration set up prior to the wedding, there was stress on both the decorators as well as myself but Dipti was able to handle the situation and everything turned out amazing. My sangeet, wedding, and reception were incredibly well decorated and I couldn’t have chosen better had I tried. Mandap Creations did an amazing job with our wedding! We originally had planned an outdoor ceremony in May — however Texas decided to not stop raining for the whole month. I was incredibly stressed that all of my planning would be in vain. However, Mandap Creations pulled through with the décor. I walked into our ballroom and was amazing how well everything translated inside. Here is a note I sent to Kanak Uncle of Mandap Creations:
I just wanted to send you a quick thank you for the decorations for our wedding. Everything turned out beautiful and we received so many compliments on the colors, the flowers, and mandap. Thank you for working to make our indoor wedding successful! Although we were sad to have everything inside, it was still very beautiful and elegant. It was also a pleasure meeting your wife! She was great in working with our coordinator and making sure the setup was flawless.

Mandap Creations was easily the best vendor we interacted with for our wedding! The mandap creations team is extremely well managed by Kanak Amin. He’s a perfectionist and very professional. He stands out from all other wedding vendors by being incredibly personable. He politely worked with every challenging member of my family and made the wedding planning process so much easier than it could’ve been. He met with us several times and showed us many different decoration options/​ideas first on the TV screen in the office and then in the warehouse. He has great ideas and a great inventory of beautiful mandap designs and backdrops to choose from. The mandap for my wedding was incredible! … so much more beautiful than I had originally imagined. His team was setup well in advance of our events and the entire process was smooth and problem free. He also did a great job with the decorations for our Raas/​Garba event. We had guests taking picture of the raas/​garba centerpiece and the mandap/​backdrop because they were impressed and wanted to recreate it for their events. We really can’t thank Kanak Uncle enough for his hardwork! I highly recommend Mandap Creations for wedding décor!

Dipti and Kanak uncle were so amazing and really understood what I wanted for my wedding! From beginning to end for our wedding, they were by far the EASIEST vendor to work with. I loved everything about our reception plus more! If youre a bride, youre in great hands with this vendor!!!

I am finally getting around to reviewing vendors, etc. that we engaged for our wedding. Normally, I do not write reviews but, I wanted to share our experiences with other couples in the midst of wedding planning in the hopes of being some help.
Our experience with Mandap Creations was GREAT! Kanak was really professional and a great person to work with. They have a ton of options to choose from and are very knowledgeable about how to meet your goals. They take the time to meet with you and go through details without pressure or rushing you, which, let’s face it, is not common in the wedding industry. Most importantly, of course, is follow through. I can honestly say, that the Mandap Creation team gave us no stress at all during the process and our wedding was in Dripping Springs. As a matter of fact, they were the best vendor we worked with. They earned our trust and delivered on exactly what they promised, which is essential on your wedding day. I highly recommend Mandap Creations.

Mitul was great. Sometimes took a while to get back but always did and responded to our needs/​requests. Decorations for our wedding events were beautiful!

Kanak/​Mitul and team were the decorators for my August 31, 2013 wedding in Houston, Texas. I cannot say enough about Kanak and the work he did. Throughout the entire process, he worked directly with my fiancé and I to ensure that our vision was being heard and that he could execute on it. He listened to the vision we had of a classy, elegant NY meets Texas wedding and delivered above/​beyond our expectations. When I got a sneak peek of the reception room the evening before the wedding, I cried because it was exactly what I had been hoping for. We had a few last minute requests (e.g., the night before the wedding) and Kanak was able to get everything we needed both for the church and the reception hall. We recommend Mandap to all our friends who are getting married. Professional and Kind — Exceptional Quality! Amazing working with Mandap Creations!

This review has been long overdue…
We used Mandap Creations for our wedding décor back in June 2011 upon a recommendation from a friend. They were absolutely fabulous to work with! Their pricing was reasonable in my opinion, especially for the quality and selection of décor, and most importantly, their customer service. They quoted me a price and then didn’t change it even after I changed which style pillars I wanted (I got fancier ones) and color/​fabric scheme of the wedding décor! They even patiently worked with me at two different appointments to go through all of the options to figure out what looked good and really try to make sure I was happy with everything (I changed my mind about the backdrop material/​color scheme twice!). They never made me feel like I was inconveniencing them even though I would change my mind every now and then!
On the day of the wedding, they were set up early for the wedding and it was beautiful! On top of that, our wedding venue/​hotel only gave us 30 – 45 minutes to break down and clear out everything after the wedding (that part kind of sucked from the hotel), but Kanak was there with his team and they worked quickly and efficiently and were out of there in less than 45 minutes! That really impressed me (especially since some of the other vendors I had gone to said they would charge me extra if I wanted it cleared out in that short amount of time b/​c they would have to hire more people).
Also, being that I didn’t have any family here in Houston to help with getting things for the actual ceremony, Kanak really helped me and told me what all I needed for an Indian wedding, and even threw in some of the pieces at no extra charge! It really made me feel at ease before and during the wedding b/​c I felt like I never had to hassle with them about anything and I knew they would take care of all the little details.
Overall, I would recommend them!!! They were so easy to work with and I loved their selection!

This is the best decorator in Houston. They have a large warehouse with many options and great up to date selection for your wedding festivities. They did an excellent job at our wedding events. We were absolutely breathtaken with how everything came together. Not only is the staff punctual and friendly, they are very professional and detail oriented. They have lighting and fabrics that can turn any place to a fairy tale. The most important thing was that they were very flexible and wanted to make my dream day perfect and it was. I was very pleased overall with their services and plan on using them again in the future. I highly recommend them.

Beautiful décor to rent!!! Great to work with!!! BUT they were supposed to change over my ceremony to reception and they disappeared. So my wedding coordinator and some friends had to do it instead. RIDICULOUS! Also if you are a bride on a budget, do NOT choose Mandap. They will constantly remind you that they are giving u a deal and make jokes about what you can’t afford. I was very uncomfortable. Of course this arises after my money was given

After meeting with three decorators for our Houston Indian ceremony, Mandap Creations was the best choice by far. We knew right from the start that Mitul would be great and easy to work with. At our first meeting, he walked us through all of the different options for mandaps and decorations we could choose from, including chair covers & sashes, centerpieces, backdrops, and way more. Mandap basically has everything you could imagine — tons of different table and chair cover options, pedestals, florals, etc. I was a little worried after we selected everything we liked (and I mean EVERYTHING) that we would be WAY out of our budget, but we were blown away by the quote Mitul gave us. Usually wedding vendors will nickel and dime you for every small thing, but he didn’t, which was awesome. Who wants to worry about how much extra the nicer table cover is or what each uplight costs? We knew immediately after our first meeting that Mandap was the right choice. We ended up having to work through a few space issues at our venue, and exchanged a few emails with Mitul about our concerns but he was totally flexible — he came out to take a look and offered his opinion on which space would work best. Mitul came out the night before our ceremony to set up everything and made sure everything looked great. I wasn’t the least bit worried about how everything would turn out and I was right — our mandap and venue looked amazing!
We couldn’t have been happier working with Mitul — it was so easy, and that’s key in a wedding vendor. You won’t regret choosing Mandap!
