Maui Wowi

This is a small local chain from my understanding. They provider some good drinks. It’s like a not as healthy but cheaper version of smoothie king. I enjoyed their mango smoothie and I also had a chance to try their strawberry and banana. Both were solid.

Starbucks may win the gold for their frappachino but Maui Wowi will own the cooler days forever and ever in my book.
I was on my way to HEB one rainy day when I couldn’t resist the aroma of sweet fresh coffee brewing. Following my nose I came upon this quaint little place decorated with palm tree leaves, leis, empty coffee sacks, and be-​skirted bottles.
Not sure of what to try I told the employee there I wanted hot coffee, with hazelnut. She recommend the Nutty Hawaiian: Espresso, Almond, Hazelnut, Macadamia, and steamed milk. UmmmmmMMMmmmm. I kept smelling my coffee for a full 15 minutes before I took a sip. She did not steer me wrong!
I’ve been a caffeine addict since 16, I don’t know if finding one more awesome coffee place is good or bad in the long run-​but for now my nose and taste buds are completely infatuated with Maui Wowi hot coffee.
