While we service all standard transmissions, we specialize in 1-​ton and over trucks and offer one-​day turn around on most repair jobs. We also stock a large inventory of ring gears and pinions, offer next day service on parts not in stock. We have a large inventory of front-​wheel drive, 4-​wheel drive parts and rebuilt units plus offer one-​day service on rebuilding most units.

McAfee Standard Transmission Inc. is an environmentally friendly company that recycles all its waste products. We are also carrying one of Houston’s largest inventories for standard transmissions. We supply units and parts to surrounding dealerships in Texas and provide service to multiple major corporation fleet accounts.

Established in 1965.

McAfee Standard Transmission, Inc. was established in 1965 and has been under current ownership/​management since 1974. Our corporation specializes in standard transmissions, transfer cases, differential work and clutches. We maintain over a million dollar inventory of new and used parts for almost any model standard transmission, along with a large inventory of bearing kits for transmissions and rear ends. In addition to bearing kits, we also carry a large variety of individual bearings and seals.

McAfee Standard Transmission, Inc. has been majority owned by Forrest M. Locke and Wayne Clancy since 1974 with a minority addition owned by Sherri Leyendecker since 1998. Mr. Locke has been retired since 2000. In addition to our office team, we have 4 of Houston’s finest mechanics who have established our qualified reputation for service and quailty.
